Ameen's Take Away in Newcastle upon Tyne

Please never use this takeaway. They will accept your order then cancel saying the driver could not deliver. Even though they cancelled it 2 mins after I ordered. So that means if I didn’t have much money they will take your little money you have and not refund it for 3 days then when you ring and ask why they did that they don’t answer. Totally shocking. What if that was the only money I had. Shame on yous. I get you have a business but it’s us your customers who make your business I think you forgot that

Quick polite service. But received a pizza that was not my order. It was tasty, but completely the wrong order. And to my mistake, I never checked until I was home

Wonderful is the least I can say. Everyone who works at Ameens really cares about their customers. I have been in tens of times and every time the food is delicious and all the employees are kind and caring. I really will never stop going to Ameens!!!!!

Just had a member of staff call in sick with food poisoning had a takeaway from here last night AVIOD AT ALL COST

picture the scene, you are drunk, dressed like a sperm half naked, lonely and cold. stumbling the mean streets of Newcastle you barely see through your clouded vision, the temple and holy land of Ameens Pizza. This place doesn't just provide a service, it provides a revival that can be a likened to Jesus making the blind see. There are few other ways to describe the influence and power that this has had on me over my drunken nights. just like the smelly bed of an ex, this is a place I always end up at the end of any night. there is nothing more I can say other than do not hesitate in entering and enjoying what is quite simply perfection.

when i think of premium food my first thought is the holy and sacred ground of ameens pizza. many rough bights have resulted in the lovely bossmen helping me sober up/ getting me out of a fight. don't listen to the bad reviews, they are deluded and frankly wrong. i would sacrifice my life for this Michelin star worthy establishment

Absolutely awful kebab. Piece of naan bread, some dry chicken and dry chips and they called it a ‘kebab’. Avoid at all costs. (Mayo we had to buy separately)

Ordered a pizza, paid with a £20 note and he gave me £5 back and gave me a pizza AND a wrap?? I said no sorry I just wanted a pizza. Ended up in an argument begging him for that money back?!? Then got kicked out???? Haway man , awful awful attitude from this guy

I clearly told the clerk that I want a 10-inch bbq chicken pizza. But the boss made me a bbq chicken wing. I can't understand it at all. I feel like I was scammed out of £10.

Tried few vegetarian and vegan types menu and they had good taste. I didn't gave 5 star because stuffs were oily like more than expected but taste was really good.

the rudest staff ever, swore and me and by boyfriend and scammed up out of £18 on a night out, we were both completely sober and it was out of order. horrendous don’t go

There was a mix up with the order originally, putting ham on the vegetarian pizza but when we took it back they were very apologetic and replaced it free of charge

Kebab meat and chips was gorgeous

Discussing customer service got order wrong and when asked to correct this we got shouted at and called liars despite other people in the place stepping in to say they heard us order and we’re correct. Even then the staff would not give us the correct order. Would never go back

Whilst self isolating ordered and driver said he cannot leave the food outside my door as he's not bothered to enter the building (i live in the block of flats and cannot leave the house hence ordering food)

I dont think Newcastle United have covid. Rather they visited this place, other than that OK place if your mortal.

Ordered from Uber Eats and the order never came as they were closed and accepted my order and I was waiting for it . Never go for this restaurant.

Paid 20 quid for 2 kebabs and a cheesy chips to share with my missus. The grease that poured out made it nearly inedible. Rock hard pitta bread. Weirdly the salad was the best bit!

Just ordered on Uber Eats. Order was missing items. No contact number for the take away. The only number available just tells you they've sent you a text to download their app. There is no way to speak with anyone. The chicken parmesan was also tiny; not much bigger than a side plate. Don't bother ordering from here if you're hungry!

Food used to be decent, but I don't know now as I haven't been for a while. I'm just curious, is it still owned by Ameen?

Ordered some food whilst on duty at work the driver refused to deliver to door wanted me to leave site I explained I couldn't due to the nature of my job he then dumped it at another address as caught on camera good was not great chips reheated.

It's the best place in the town ever . I loved customer service. 7 stars I had chicken with curry sauce was lovely. Recommended it ..

After buying my food (which was to say the least, horrific) I asked for another garlic sauce because I ordered TWO, as I was only given ONE. The man behind the counter then proceeded to argue with me and THEN instructed the bouncer who clearly thinks he’s the next Anthony Joshua, to man handle me out of the takeaway. Don’t go here if you don’t want to be set about for asking for some garlic sauce. 1 star is actually being generous, but to be honest I had no option of putting 0.

Shocking kebab, probably worst I've ever had!! Pitta bread wasnt even warmed up it was just placed underneath the rubbery Luke warm donner meat. Girlfriend had chicken kebab which was thin overcooked pieces of chewy tastless orange chicken, best part about it was the pickled cabbage!! Go spar itll be cheaper for your cabbage!

One of things I miss the most about Downtown Newcastle , I have been dying to find a Shawarma or Gyro that tastes anywhere like that in the US. the flavour man ! I can't believe I have to live my life without it .. Literally and by all means , The Best Sharwa , Gyro in the entire history of forever . Try Ameen's Special combo .

It was a cold night in autumn and we ordered kebab and 2 pizza. The portion was quite large, enough to fill the 3 of us (we even had some leftovers to take home). They have a dine in option, but the place is not that big if you bring many people, I think 4-5 at most.

Used to be the place to go for food in Newcastle after a night out. Sadly not now. Rude staff and poor food.

I don't know what I had with the Kebab meat but all I can say is after a few drinks it tasted very nice. Certainly helped with the walk back to the hotel....

The staff are very rude and abusive. I would never return the way they were speaking to people was appalling. Also they try to rip you off so be aware or just do not go here. There is a nice pizza shop up the street much better and nicer staff.

Please don't go here there are robbers. And food is awful. When you order things they say they give you it when they haven't then when you ask for proof they gave you in conveniently they don't have cameras. Robbers please go elsewhere worst place ever

Yummy pizza but they were trying to overcharge everyone - probably think if you're drunk you won't realise!! Don't think the food hygiene is the best either I seen the man who puts the topping on the pizza use the hand with the glove on to use a dishpan and brush, and then not change the glove!

Just a counter to order from. No where to sit. Post Friday night drinks needed food. Burger was swimming in grease. Horrible
