Pizzaholic in Newcastle upon Tyne

I seen a couple of YouTube reviews on this place and decided to try it as the reviews were good. I ignored the google reviews stupidly. The guy was pleasant enough. I paid £31 for 2, 12inch pizzas and 3 garlic dips which I thought was quite expensive for a high street pizza place. Of course price means nothing if the pizza is nice, but it was Mid at best. I ordered the supreme meat feast which couldn’t have been further from its name if it tried. The pizza was almost bare with hardly any toppings. The worst thing is it’s gave me and my husband food poisoning all night and today. Learn from my mistake, don’t go here. They gave a wonderful looking pizza full of toppings to the YouTube reviewers and it doesn’t remotely look the same for normal customers.

£11 for a 10" pizza which was burnt and tasteless £2 for a can of pop the only good thing was the can of pop! Overpriced and tasteless avoid!

Massively over priced. Mediocre food at best. Pizzas are bogo standard and way too expensive. Sundries are massively overpriced. £5 for 6 frozen soggy onion rings. WHAT??? And they cant even make gravy 🤣 It's only popular coz of its 32" pizza. Go somewhere else unless you want to overpay for a bog standard novelty. Shame tho coz the staff are nice.

First time customer. Only had the Margarita pizza and garlic sauce but it was really nice. Great size slices and a nice crust. I'll be back to try again 🙂

ordered two pizzas delivered within time given, they did forget the drink however we rang up and they immediately said they would drop it down. the shops about 15 mins away from me and about 30 mins later they dropped down the drink the person who dropped it down was very kind and they took extra time to drop it down without any problems

The biggest pizza in Newcastle, and for that alone, it deserves 5 stars because I love pizza! It might not be the best pizza in the world, but it’s still pretty good. Overall, it was such a fun and great experience! 🤪

¡Por lo general me encanta la pizza de calidad! Ordenó un trato de comida que debía entregarse entre las 00: 50 - 01 : 15 . El orden todavía no había llegado a las 00: 15 por lo que me puse en contacto con el restaurante que me avisó de que el conductor estaba a 3 - 4 minutos. Recibimos una llamada a las 00: 19 de “conductor” diciendo que estaban afuera, no lo estaban. Intenté contactar de nuevo con el restaurante que no respondió. Recibió una llamada al 01: 32 preguntando si podían pasar mi número al conductor, a lo que acepté, el conductor no se puso en contacto durante 8 minutos. El conductor solicitó mi ubicación en WhatsApp, a lo que me agradecí y solicité la de ellos para poder ver si estaban cerca, estaban detrás de mi casa. El conductor luego comenzó a conducir lejos y de vuelta a la carretera principal hasta que los llamé por teléfono (sin respuesta. ) Durante este tiempo uber eats había estado en contacto diciendo que podía cancelar mi pedido para un reembolso completo a lo que acepté ya que el conductor se alejaba claramente. El conductor luego se dio la vuelta y entregó mi comida (encontré mi casa sin problemas). Fui muy educado y le dije “muchas gracias” y “adiós” al conductor, a lo que me ignoraron. El restaurante entonces me llamó preguntándome por qué cancelaría mi pedido y aceptaría la comida. Le expliqué que había cancelado mi pedido y que la comida se entregaba 10 minutos después, a lo que ellos respondieron “bueno, ¿por qué aceptarías un pedido que habías cancelado?” Persona al teléfono no podía entender que llevaba esperando 30 minutos más de la hora prevista de llegada y pensaba que debía pagar la comida, que a estas alturas hacía frío helado : )

Still waiting for the food ordered 2 1/4 hours ago (and the app says it’s delivered). No vegan cheese left so was asked if we could have dairy on a vegan pizza. No offer to refund the extra money paid for vegan cheese, and nothing else offered as an apology. We’ve tried calling multiple times for an update but there is no answer on the phone.

Ordered from here and my order took over 2 hrs to arrive, food came freezing cold, i tried ringing the shop 12 times with no answer at all, the delivery driver was understanding of my frustration and attempted to ring the manager of the store who also did not answer, will definitely not be ordering from this place again, and would definitely not recommend

Food was awful, I ordered the munch box 2 and instead got the wrong type of pizza thag looked like it was from a cartoon, a dry chicken burger, a chip and kebab wrap and the worst cheesy chip, an to top it off the driver was 40 minutes late awful. Waste of money

This has to be the worst pizza I’ve had. The dough tasted like it was from 2 days ago, so hard and stale not very nice at all. Chicken wings have been deep fried and bbq sauce thrown on top. Not a good way of making the wings. The chips was the only best thing and they wasn’t that good. £40 for just the chips to be okay. I give in with these food places.

After I see lots of advertisements in social media finally I order tonight from them … pizza dough was like for few days ago not fresh at all and pizza test like cardboard everything was disgusting 🤢 like you get food poisoning if I eat that .. so me and partner put everything in bin after spending £40 what’s a west … I recommend never order from them … food it’s rubbish from here 🤢🤢

The pizzas are so tasty. They have the biggest pizza in Newcastle. I totally reccomend it.

Food arrived quick, still hot and was very tasty. Will definitely be coming back again, the delivery driver Sasi was very friendly and made the order feel more personal. Will definitely be coming back for that reason.

If i could put 0 stars i would. Diabolical service today. Food was due for 6pm. A car pulled up outside and we weren't sure if it was our take away. Driver didn't call our phone or attempt to call the buzzer for our flat. He sat outside in his car for 20 minutes vaping and drinking his energy drink. After 15 mins he took a picture of the building and drove off. The restaurant then declined calls, pretended they couldn't hear after passing the phone to someone. When we eventually got through properly, they assured us it was on its way and it would be warm. It was not. It was stone cold. 50+ minutes late and Diabolical service. Driver didn't say a word when he came the second time. Just handed the food and walked away. When he drove off he was texting while driving. Small light blue car. Disgusting.

Esperé un rato y me dieron una pizza que era totalmente diferente a lo que se había pedido. Pedí un mexicano, Dios sabe lo que tengo - no era un mexicano. También pidió un pan de ajo con queso, que no tenía queso. Tengo la sensación de que el personal estaba tan privado de derechos que realmente no les importaba. Es una mina de oro, pero realmente se defrauda. ¡Vamos, eres mejor que eso!

Unreal atmosphere, lighting puts Blackpool to shame. Service with a smile. Nifty little touch screen to order on if you don't want to talk. Always get what you asked for. Home of the 32inch pizza. Great deals.

I just got chips and what a dissapointment, some are raw inside some are rock hard, and the price for it £2.50 which is an absolute rip off for the amount and quality of chips.

Absolutely poor. Ordered the 32 inch pizza to split between 8. Took an hour to get to us which is fair enough. Opened the box the pizza was cold. Rung up asking for a refund they said they couldn’t do anything. Poor customer service. AVOID

I ordered food from here and it didn’t show up two hours later (on the Pizzaholic app it was showing as delivered) so I contacted the store who asked if I could wait 2 minutes while they checked where my order was and left me waiting for 15 minutes before I hung up and tried to call again multiple times - all of which got declined. When I went to the store I was met with deceitful staff who claimed they had rang my doorbell, knocked at my door and tried to call me - none of which was true. They also tried to tell me they weren’t able to refund my order in store, which was a lie as they were easily able to do it 5 minutes later when it suited them. We regularly order from Pizzaholic, but absolutely NEVER again - disgusting service.

Massive 32 inch pizza very nice!

Ordered a 14inch pizza and chips and can honestly say the food was incredible. I live about 5mile away and the food was on time and still very warm. Pizza was perfect and the chips were fantastic. The sauces were incredible. Very nice and would highly recommend it. Will definitely be ordering again. Thank you very much!!!!

Just had 32 inch half half. Half margarita other half chicken pepperoni peppers and jalepenos. Really tasty. Got piri piri chips, wedges and garlic sauce. All well worth the price

Do not order from here even if is the last place open! Ordered from here over 4 hours ago now and every time I call them asking where my food is, they either completely blank the call or come up with some crazy excuse of why it hasn’t arrived. Most commonly blaming the customer for not answering the phone or providing the wrong contact number. Utter disgrace and going to bed hungry, so at no cost should you buy from here.

Used to work security at tescos across the road Staff at pizza police was always going the extra mile to sort a man his supper Pizzas very well cooked and size of the 30inch ones had some fun watching folks squeeze those in their cars :p Haven't had one before get yourselfs along oh and try their nacho cheese nommmnommmmmm

Average pizzas used a couple of times. Garlic bread with cheese was burnt, hard and cheese was crunchy. It was overcooked and not enough cheese.

Made an order 1.50am into Thursday morning its now 3.34am. Order was supposed to be here at 2.45am latest. After 2 phonecalls with staff and apparently my order being out for delivery at 3am although I live 5 minutes down road they are now blanking my calls. Absolute joke of a shop wouldn't attempt to ever order from here again. Go elsewhere ladies and gents.

Food delivery was extremely late and upon first delivery the vast majority of the order was missing and upon second delivery the food was under cooked and items were still. So all in all it took roughly 2 and a half hours to receive part of our order. Was the price that we paid we would expect a better quality of food and service. I will not be ordering from here again.

Spent 40 quid on an order that never came

Pizza and kebab was nice. Chips weren't too bad, but the salad wasnt good and the pitta bread was stale. Would've been 5 star otherwise. Staff were pleasant. The customer side of the take away is run down with the door almost hanging off its hinges. Not a big deal since we were only there 15 minutes.

Delivery £15 for two items, however arrived late. Both pizza and garlic bread stone cold, garlic bread tough and bland. Pizza might have been OK if hot or warm, but nothing to write home about. Over double the price of my usual takeaway for very subpar food. No offence.

Pizzaholic! Where Pizza Dreams Come True! I stumbled upon Pizzaholic in search of a slice of heaven, and boy, did they deliver! My taste buds are still doing the happy dance after devouring their pizza and kebab combo. It's like they've unlocked the secret to culinary bliss. The pizza was so good; I almost considered proposing to it. And the kebab? Let's just say it's the real MVP – a flavor explosion that left me questioning why I ever settled for plain old salads. Pizzaholic, you've turned me into a pizza romantic. Move over, Shakespeare – there's a new love story in town, and it involves me and Pizzaholic's irresistible creations. Bravo!

Boss man has converted this place into one of the best "british style" pizza in the North East, if not the UK. Very attentive staff who will ring if there is any issues with your order. For example, we ordered a Vegan Pizza, and bought a dip with milk in - they rang to ask if we knew about this and offered to change it for something else. If they get something wrong with the order they are very helpful in replacing it - I think the ownership has changed, as I believe the quality has gotten much better in the past year. Also they do a 32 inch pizza which is crazy, 50 cent order 2 of them - absolute mad man.
