Amber Alehouse in Manchester

A couple of drinks and snack before our flight. We ordered food which was a long wait, turned out the table number had been taken down wrong. Staff were apologetic and re ordered the food. Katie brought the food and offered us a complimentary drink... she didn't have to and it was appreciated, Thank you Katie, and great customer service from all the team today 😊

Atmosphere all TOO loud. Collection from the bar and STILL expected of a tip. Good was £70 very expensive for a family of four. Apple juice tasted suspicious and heated . Hash browns gave stomach pain and were violontly overcooked . Hopefully never visiting again. Horrible morning experience before a flight. Amber alehouse has NOTHING on eating out Staff were unhelpful and reluctant to help. *Explains collection from the bar* Thankfully no service tip automatically added with the VAT ON receipt Not for me probably for anyone 1 star.

This place has a decent variety of food on offer. Opted for the amber burger & onion rings on the side. Food came out in good time and was a tasty meal. Only gripe the beer on offer. Otherwise highly recommend.

We are currently set here at Amber ale House. No matter how good the food tastes when it arrives, we are unhappy with our experience. The reason for that is because even if you take certain items off a breakfast order they do not remove the cost. They will charge you exactly the same. Anyway. This is actually a relatively easy adjustment to make to anybody's Bill having worked in hospitality for over 12 years myself. Whilst the service was okay, I think that putting a blanket ban on editing the bill and charging more when you replace those items with ingredients that cost similar or less is unacceptable. Anywhere you go. What makes it worse is that you are trapped in a no man's land of less options when in the departure lounge. They have capitalized on this and for that reason we won't be coming back. You can really try and do better. HMS host /amber ale House.

Total muck ! Waste of money and food was cold and disgusting. I wasn't expecting much but wish I had spent my money buying sandwiches from boots
