Allens Bar in Great Yarmouth

We’ll booked in for a Sunday roast dinner for 12.30pm on 11/10/2020 food was on time and very nice thanks to jimmy and the kitchen for such a lovely dinner really enjoyed it highly recommend looking forward to next one on 18/10/2020 book your table via Facebook page or walk in and speak to jim for availability such a brilliant place to come and enjoy yourself 👍

Was an okay night the barmaid is very rude if you are not a local to the area the coke is always of and they just give you diet. Make you feel very awkward if you are not a local she needs to try the natural look instead of a face full of makeup and fake hair

The atmosphere is amazing and you meet some lovely people. Fridays are alot of fun with the karaoke night.

Visited Allen's bar 15th November for karaoke, was a brilliant night, bar staff polite and friendly, drinks great price. Can't fault anything, recomend place a must.

I have been here doing karaoke for the last 6 months I have never seen anyone doing drugs and if they did they would be reported to the police this is a family friendly pub with a great pub manager never had any trouble. So sorry the comment about drugs is bull. Come down and see for yourself. I would not and my family would not go in there if that was the case.

steer well clear from this disgusting pub Within 3 minutes of entering my 15 yr old son was offered cocaine by the bar womans boyfriend. She then accused me of offering my son some of my drink even though there were lots of 3-10 yr old kids in a smoky pub at gone 9pm. People openly smoke and deal drugs in there. Stay well away

Love this place on occasional evening get together a and discos. Have heard that they do a lovely home made roast on Sunday's - haven't tried it yet but will do one day

Nice pub enjoyed the ales they had on. Tried a couple of new ones not had before and was impressed. Glad to see them serving Norfolk ales.

Nikki and family make superb friendly hosts and the pub always has a warm friendly atmosphere. The beer is very well kept and prices low. Food is well above standard and it is a place which you should not miss if in Great Yarmouth.

Food was great and very reasonably priced. Great little place, friendly staff. Love the fact you can order small med or large portions, great idea.

Went to a private party. Was a great place. Lovely friendly staff didn't eat but might go back one day to eat.

Very friendly pub. Good selection of wines, beer and spirits. All reasonably priced. Danced the night away.

We were looking for somewhere to eat when a passer by told us to try Allens bar. When we got to the front door we didn't know what to expect. I stuck my head inside the door and was pleasantly surprised by the homely pub atmosphere. The menu was good, it had all the favourites. The portions were huge and for what we got it was excellent value for money. The staff were friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was all homemade and fresh which is a nice surprise these days. On the whole I'm glad we listened to that passer by because we could have ended up paying a lot if money for microwave rubbish elsewhere!

Nice friendly atmosphere, food is great and well priced, helpful bar persons, very accommodating, happy to visit with the children anytime for lunch!

This bar is a good old bar nice pub to have a drink with nice people around , been here many times over the years

Had a few drinks before going for a meal , nice staff and reasonable prices , had a nice chat with a few others and its a good bar

The food was okay for a pub, but having everybody including the woman behind the bar glare at me as I was eating my meal put me right off. I hate it when people stare at me whilst im eating.

Basic Quick meals, Sausage Egg and Chips etc. All freshly cooked. Good Work day lunches. Very good value and cheerful staff.

nice food and very good value. visit here every few months to meet friends for lunch.! recommnded. They have bands there some evenings, Been here for one or 2. good night if you like that sort of thing

Any trip to Allens bar is guaranteed to give great value for money. The food is freshly made and always tasty. Daily specials are exceptional value. The lasagne is wonderful. Great beers and a wonderful welcome make this my favourite Yarmouth pub.
