Really good food and value for money

Skanky chips. Guess they were previously frozen. Similar to what you get in a poor indian/Chinese restaurant. If not, they have a lot of work to do with their fryer!!

Usually come here a few times a week. First time I've had a bad chippy from here. Large portion of chips more like a kids portion of chips and they were on the raw side. Mega indigestion. Don't know what gone wrong but won't be coming back

Excellent service with a wonderful smile always, definitely best crispy fish and chip and cooked to order 😋 Wow, went my friends and asked him pop down Allens chippy, got back to worse disgusting chips, and extremely wattery, supposedly Irish curry, fish just ok, but most definitely should not been served. Either the three ladies who were working in there do not care, so should be sacked or for the sake of the public, leave or haven't got a clue. If I personally would have seen it before wrapping I would have walked out. No Need ladies, and won't be back.

Went here the other week to get chips. Staff were friendly and managed to get my order as efficiently

The chips were inedible, dry & horrible, the batter on the fish was terrible, Boofys in Barry island is better, won’t eat here again, if they had minus scores it would be -8.

Food tastes nice, staff are friendly. Only small downside curry sauce was mega watery but everything else is good food

Excellent fish and chips cooked fresh. I enjoyed a piece of Cod, chips, mushy peas and Irish curry on the side. Very tasty food and great service, definitely worth a try.

I've have visited there occasionally but not recently, so I have no idea why this review was requested? Personally, I would have to give it zero star rating for any recent so called visit, but I have purchased from them In the past, all good. It's a recommendable food 'fish & chip' outlet that has a good reputation for its cleanliness & food. So I have to give '1' star because I've not been there recently. 23/Oct/2020. Hows that?

Chips were soggy and stuck to the paper, the fish was anemic and dull. Didn't finish, waste of money. Needed a bit more attention to detail, seemed rushed. Everything was underdone

I'm new to the area and cannot believe I have a fab fish and chip shop (my favourite meal) on my doorstep. Also you can choose your own portion size. Curry sauce and chips (smallest portions) cost me £1.70 which is brilliant as I have a very poor appetite; due to illness. Love it 😀
