Bottomless brunch, place was quiet but service made up for the vibe. Drinks flowing (no one should have that many espresso martinis in and hour and half...but I did) Will feel it in the morning but so worth it !

His is a clean, friendly bar in York City centre. The staff were friendly, the range of drinks wide and although it was a little Pricey no more than one would expect for a tourist city.

Kayce was a lovely and very attentive always ensuring our glasses were topped up in our bottomless Prosecco brunch. The food was lovely and definitely would come again.

Came as part of a uni group for Christmas dinner. Food was great and reasonably priced for 3 courses. Staff were also really nice.

I've been 3 times now, and three times my table has been forgotten about. I waited nearly an hour today for a bacon butty, and it absolutely definitely wasn't worth it.

We had for dinner the Ribeye steak which was cooked to perfection along with a very nice pepper sauce and accompanying fries. The waitress deserves a mention even though I don't know her name, I think she was from Bulgaria.

Had a fab brunch here for a friends hen do! Lee was the hostess with the mostess! The Food was average, but the amount of prosecco and service trumps all! Loved it!

Came in this evening with my partner and friends was seen by a lovely lady called Hannah she was amazing we order beef burgers but you didn't have them but Hannah went to see the chef which he recommended we go for the chicken burgers with cheese and bacon and he said no change for the add ons that was really good of him because we had to change are minds service was fantastic and olly on the bar made are drinks and they was amazing we are coming back in a couple of weeks so will see you all again will recommend your place to people we know

We went to all bar one for boozy brunch, our waitress Cassey was very informative. The food was really good and there was a good selection to choose from. The prosecco was free flowing and the waitress was very attentive none of us ever managed to finish our drinks before a top up was offered

Went with group of friends. I am gluten free and when I asked if there was anything I could eat I was given a full brochure pages and pages of every single item and the related allergy. I want to know what I can eat not what I can’t. In the end opted for avocado and chicken salad at £10.95. Which was the only available option. It was not good with 3 strips of chicken and a mound of dry lettuce so off putting. My friend had a burger and chips. Burger was cold and chips she had to send back. I would not recommend eating there. On a positive note it’s a nice place with good DJ so I would go again but not to dine

We met up with family today as they were going to sealife centre we needed lunch somewhere close by.this is my third visit or fourth over the years service top notch food cooked well.two of us had chicken schnitzel with katzu sauce and seasoned fries very nice.son had firecracker chicken he said it was nice.chicken schnitzel was 10.95.i had a coffee it was good.expresso martini delicious. Hubby said pint was good.lovely afternoon great staff.

Part of me and the D's Revisiting-the-Past led to spending the day in my home town. My, how the Gas Street Basin has changed over the last 30+ years! Our lunchtime pit-stop was based on location only to be honest (perched beside the canal). But glad we did choose here. Food and service was wonderful. Apologies, I didn't get the name of our waiter :-( but he was a delight, all smiles and swift service. Firecracker Chicken Mac n Cheese, a beetroot and walnut salad and a trio of fries filled us up nicely. But the star was the Salted Caramel Old Fashioned with popcorn cocktail!! Seriously, the caramel syrup added a wondrous tang - seek it out!

Popped in for a couple of drinks. Walked up to the bar to be served by a chap, who you would of thought has just been given the worst news in the world. No eye contact, no smile, no please and thank you. He created an awful atmosphere and felt very awkward waiting for our drinks. Mind you the manager next to him wasn’t any better. Either they’ve just split up, or they’ve both been given bad news. It was a muscular server and the manager in a shirt working at around 5pm. Won’t hurry back.

Drinks after work - good service despite being very busy - we were drinking bottles of prosecco and as colleagues arrived, the bar were good at providing extra glasses. Left my colleagues there at 11.15 - all still enjoying themselves. Have previously thought this bar somewhat rowdy at the weekend but changed my impression. Didn't wait too long at the bar for soft drink despite them being busy mixing cocktails. Despite its large size (with separate area upstairs), those on our table were able to hear one another in conversation despite background noise which is not true for many city centre venues. will definitely return.
