Food was nice and delivered rather fast for a Saturday night

Disappointed with Alex pizza. We have been regularly customers here for years but lately we have seen a decline in the quality of the food. We order the donner calzone and there was absolutely nothing inside of it. You have lost a regular customer for being stingy with your product.

Burger & chicken strips were nice only criticism is lettuce definitely a few days old & chips literally had no taste, other than that quick delivery friendly staff

Just spent 27 pounds on a 9 inch pizza a burger an garlic bread an chips. They had a buy one get one free on the garlic bread an chips. The delivery driver only brings one garlic bread so I ask for my free one she calls the shop The man shouted at me down the phone that I didn't press for the free one I said it came up four so I pressed 1 an assumed the second 1 would be added to the meal He shouted at me an said I'm stupid an need to learn how to order a meal. I asked him nicely to bring the second one as its my kids tea iv just spent nearly 30 on the food which tbh I wasn't worth that I'd say 20 pushing it. I told him the chips was buy 1 get 1 free an they came an I ordered them the same way as the garlic bread. So instead of rectifying the mistake for the sake of the garlic bread I got told very aggressive to call uber. The chips was stale an cold the pizza was cold an the burger had a hair in the box . It just couldn't get any worse. I'm absolutely disgusted by the way they spoke to me an the food was put in the bin. NEVER again will I use this shop an I named an shamed them on fb aswell. None of my family will use or go in now. I took pitchers of the food. An we ordered from peeps chippy instead. Waste of money an food ill be contacting my bank also.

Meal delivery, waited a little longer than we thought ,but well worth the wait every thing was hot tasty and a lot of it for two ,kebab chips cheesy garlic bread bottle pepsi , definitely order again .

Told it would be 45 mins. It took an hour and a half. Chips where cold and bun on the burger was rock hard. Won't be going back.

Disappointed! Ordered a large donner meat with lettuce. The tray was half empty, the lettuce was brown soggy and the taste of that (off salad smell/taste)was on the donner meat after removing it. Such a shame as we have been here on occasion and always had a good meal. The large fries on the other hand were full and tasty! Update....Such a rude response! If you read my review we have always been happy with your food till yesterday. I was actually 10mins early for our order time. I ordered, waited 10mins and drove round to collect around a 5min drive. I was certainly not 40mins late! I came out in the storm late in the evening after work and wasn't about to come back out to sort it out. I emailed you about this issue and noone has responded to the email or called as I included my mobile number, so I wrote this review. The lettuce smelt of salad that had gone off, kebab meat does not make it smell like that. You have also not responded to the fact the tray was half empty for a large meal order.

Used for the first time kebabs were lovely meat was really nice. Will use again. Delivery took a while but was worth waiting for.

Just had the driver come deliver to my truck friendly service good food and a lot of food for the money will be ordering from here again 100% recommend well done guys

Omg. First time ordering from Alex's and I'm impressed. Because of the time of night I wasn't expecting the best kebab but that was amazing. I'm full and I still have half left. We got the shawarma donner and the chicken kebabs with fries. Everything was hot and juicy and the spices on the shawarma chicken was delicious 😋 10/10 will be ordering again :D Thank you

First time using the ALEX's & deffo won't be last. Delivery was sound, driver ace & the food was delivered in good time and - unusually it seems these days - piping hot. Really well presented & BIG portions as well...the kebab was huge & really, really lovely & was also served with plenty of fresh salad (as requested...YAY). I'm told the pizza, wraps & breads were all spot on as well. The free garlic bread was a nice touch too. I think. Unless I'd @rsed up & ordered an extra one. I'd read some reviews prior to ordering which were a bit hit & miss TBH...I can only assume these people have been really unlucky with their orders, have a weird grudge against the place or got a proper cob on 'cos their pizza was 5 mins late when they were kettled or something. Honestly couldn't fault the place, will deffo re-order & would heartily recommend. Well in Alex's gaff...you have new fans...!!!!

Food is great, wait a little longer for delivery but it's defo worth it. Rather have hot tasty food from here then quick food that's rank from else where

The food arrived cold and took an hour to arrive even though we were close I rang up the shop and the lady started to be rude and hung up the nan bread came rock solid,the garlic bread had no taste and only had cheese no garlic and the kebab is cold the salad is hotter and that is saying something this was all £20 and I didn't get a refund waste of money 1/5

Found hair in food and person on the phone was kicking off when called, kept hanging up just unprofessional and should have a visit from food standards

Specifically asked for sauces seperate on a large kebab, came with BBQ, Mayo and Hot Chilli all over sloppy kebab. Had to mither the muppet on the phone to send a fresh one with seperate sauces, in total waited 2hrs, thankfully when food came right it was quite nice. Read comments on orders, sort your customer service out.

We have had quite a few deliveries from here, mainly the chicken kebab and got to say they are very good. Small one is massive and we'll worth the money. I had a chicken fillet burger tonight and I really enjoyed it. Ordered from just eat and came in the estimated time.

Used to order here religiously. Until they miss off a meal I'd paid for. Rang that night 3 times, they kept telling me it was on its way. They were sorry. It just never turned up. Called them to order again, give them the benefit of the doubt, asked them to add what I had already paid for on to my order that time. They told me they would phone me back and never did 🤷‍♀️

Got fish and chips load of rubbish it was supposed to be cod the fish was grey waited a hour and a half for delivery never again

Ordered from here tonight, food was appalling! Curly fries tasted like polystyrene, ended up binning most of the food, rang up to complain as spent over £30 and driver came back and was very rude, asked to get my food out the bin and rudely snatched it from my hand and speeded off, avoid this place

First & last I’m afraid chips where freezing rock hard & like they’d been cooked the previous day no seasoning Burger burnt Pizza burnt Wrap ok best out the bunch first & last I’m afraid :(

Ordered food from this Restaurant on the Just Eat app and they never delivered the food and refused to refund me my money I did contact Just Eat and they told me to contact you and I did contact you and you would not refund my money. What do you mean I need to prove that you did not deliver, you know you didn’t deliver cos you still have the food and my money

Oh my Gooooooddnnneeeessss!! We've been enjoying shiesh kebabs for nearly 20 years and just had the best one ever! Naan wrap and all the trimmings. Happy belly 😋 💓 💗 ☺

Absolutely AWFUL!! Had to wait over 2 hours for food to arrive. We rang up they said it would be 10 minutes rang up a second time they said it hadn't even been done. Food was cold and horrible!!

Orderd on Just Eat. Alex's Kebab House confirmed and said it would be an hour. An hour later. Just Eat refunded and said they didn't have any delivery drivers. Clown outfit. 🤡

Not even worthy of the 1 star. But I had to, to be able to leave a review! Ordered 1 reg shawarma kebab with salad, 1 lg shawarma kebab without salad... -the regular was bigger than the large -the salad was febel and warm -the chicken was extremely dry -naan/pitta was dry (not even been toasted) -chips were cold and soggy Not only was the food awful, but the customer service was disgusting. We were told on order 35mins for delivery. 55mins later no food. Phoned after an hour to be told it's left and it'll be 5 minutes. The shop is 9mins away (according to Google). 1hr 25min it took for this awful food to be delivered. When my partner phoned to question the quality, there was a short debate and she was told "not order from them again" No apology. No offer of replacement. No offer of refund. It was the same last week, they replaced 1 meal, and it was tasty. We gave Alex's the benefit of the doubt and ordered again. Big mistake! Disgusting food. Disgusting service.

Me and my friend ordered 2 donner kebab burgers and cheesy chips within 1 hour we was violently sick and now suffering with food poisoning dont know if it was the garlic mayo out of date or the kebab meat from last night but i will never go here again

Ordered two chicken kebabs from here one with chilli and mayo and one with just garlic sauce. Got them home to find out they decided to put hot chilli on both the kebabs. They contacted the next day after I'd left a bad review to say they would remqke the kebab whenever i wanted, went in there later that day and they were extremely apologetic qbout the situation and rectified it. Great service

Took nearly 2 hrs to be delivered, when I phoned the guy had attitude on phone saying it wasn't his fault he only had 1 driver working and to cancel order if not happy, I would have cancelled but already paid by card
