Best curry place on wilmslow road.

Very cheap interior design and service is even cheaper - waiters don’t even care your sat down waiting for them to come take the order. Greasy tables and old chairs - the chicken tikka curry was so tasteless and literally made me want to throw up - lamb chops dry as anything , will definitely not visit again.

Worstttttt experience of my life..I got job after 3 months I took my friend there to give a treat from my hard earned money,I ordered achari chicken and biryani. The worst ever biryani with some boneless small pieces of chicken how they can call it biryani I am just wondering!! In small raita i found a male hair and when I complained a guy there about it,he ignored me like he didn't even hear me!!! And about achari chicken, I don't have words to explain..total waste of money..So disappointed!! Please don't waste people hard-earned or change your name from Al-madina to something else!!please be honest!!

Best curry house on the curry mile, been going for over 10 years. Normally get lamb chops, Karahi (chicken or lamb but some would say lamb is better) and fresh roti. Special occasions call for a nihari on top. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere.

Order curry's and biryani curry's had no salt or chilli's in. Nò taste the purchans were small its a take away bit restaurant prices 15 pound so expensive sad biryani was bad.you don't call that a biryani...

One of the best curries I’ve had for a while. Lamb Karahi was authentic and just tasted amazing. They do decent french fries, which isn’t greasy. Everything looked clean and fresh. Food was served in a timely manner even whilst they were busy. I can’t wait to visit again

This place serves the most authentic curry in Rusholm. It isn't posh or fancy but if you want the real deal, this is the place.

Visit yesterday but honestly guys food wasn’t good specially Magz / lamb karahi & Nihari like 3/4 days old wasn’t fresh one of our friend got sick after eating

A smaller, and busy, restaurant so you might wait a couple of minutes, but it is worth it. I just had an old school lamb on the bone and it was well prepared. The meat just falls off and are so tender! Staff is busy and there is an old screaming guy in the kitchen 😀 Not at cozy place, so more a, inn and out ish. Need to come back to try more stuff!

Tried their biryani the worst ever biryani in my life was wondering it was plauo or biryani and the portion for 9 pounds ahhhhh God that was really small portion And wasn’t tasting like biryani wasn’t expecting that And 2nd thing there were 2 hairs in there chatni the red one when i told that to waiter he even didn’t bother and instead he smiled i was like Th bro tell your manager but nahhh he ignored it

Food was not tasty , I ordered the beef korma and was disappointed it had no flavour whatsoever and was bland. Do not recommend this restaurant.

I was in Manchester for work and was really craving a Biryani, I had visited Al-Madina and the gentleman who served me was very efficient and polite. He asked me how spicy I would like my chicken biryani and made it according to how I would like it. It tasted delicious and will definitely be returning whenever I visit Manchester.

Excellent food. The fish karahi and chana chicken curry was absolutely amazing. As a matter of fact, some of the best desi food i've ever had. Clean restrooms and very kind service.

Don’t come here expecting BIR tikka masala this is AUTHENTIC ASIAN FOOD. The Karahis are superb, the star of the show for me is the Nihari. You will not find a curry of such depth and complexity of flavour in the rest of Manchester. Al Madina is simply superb.

I went with my friends to eat, and we were waiting for the food to come and they have given us really bad cutomer service , the guy who was taking order on the till was really rude , not happy at all with the service .

I wouldn’t say the food is bad, it’s edible & OK if you’re hungry, but I’d you’re looking forward to a good Indian then it’s going to disappoint - unless you don’t know what a good Indian is like, then you’ll be fine. I tend to think you can tell a good Indian restaurant or takeaway by their starters like chicken tikka & pakoras before you’ve even made it to the curries and the starters here are dead. The curries not any better. Mediocre at best.

Great place. Stood the test of time and service is restaurant quality if not better. Really attentive and the food is excellent. Had the large sikh kebab. Naan is fresh z great taste to the kebab as well. Only quibble is that the kebabs could be slightly larger. Note, the sauce is very spicy Definitely can't wait to go again

Worst Nihari I have ever had! Ordered omelette, parathas, nihari and naan. Paratha and naan were but omelette had extra salt and spice to it and Nihari was totally bland. Customer service is okayish. Do not order Nihari here!!

Very spicy grill and half raw can’t chew. Lamb karahi full of onion. (Sweet taste). Never recommend to anyone.

Food is good but staff need more training about serving and dealing with customers

Food was average, chana chicken,small pieces of bone in the dish which was quite disturbing. This was my first time , service was good and atmosphere was good,clean and tidy.

Food was good & person who took order was very friendly. Had mixed grill which was good lamb tikka was little chewy but other than that all food was good.

Can't fault this place. Was very busy, but clean inside. Service is fast, very well priced and good size portions. The chicken balti was a bit sweet for my liking but that's down to personal preference. The chicken tikka starter is very good, as is the chicken pakora. Would certainly go again if in the area.

Extra spicy seekh kebab (not fresh), good lamb biryani, average haleem and brain masala. Superb kulcha naan and good roti. Might not return.

Decided to come and check this place out since it had good reviews. Small but busy place. Mix grill was ok but had to rush eating it as it got cold very quickly. The rice was bland and was quite salty. Luckily I was around the area but if I had to travel far to get here I would be very disappointed.

Almadina is my favorite Indian/Pakistani restaurant in Manchester - by far! The food here is excellent. I would especially recommend lamb biryani, chicken butter masala, kima, and garlic naan. This is one of only a handful of restaurants in manchester that I keep coming back, despite locating a bit far from where I stay. Highly highly recommended.

As always traditional beautiful flavoursome Pakistani food. Grilled meat was tender and full of flavour and the chana masala was amazing with a chicken tikka Biryani to enjoy aswell it was the perfect Sunday dinner.

Been to thousands of restaurants around the world and this is one of the best, if not the best one I have been to in terms of food quality and taste. Seekh kebabs, lamb and chicken karahi are on another level. Clean salad and excellent service as always. I’m a regular and their food is always consistently excellent.

I enjoyed my experience. Wonderful buffet, excellent service. Particularly enjoyed the great service of the welcome staff especially Sneh; the wonderful lady who waited my table. She was professional and yet filled with good nature and humor. Highly recommend, and hope you enjoy your experience as I have.

We have been queuing for 15 mins to get a table. Clean and small place, only have 7 tables. Simple but tasty authentic curry food. We love spicy food but be careful when you order the food as these dishes can be very spicy. Thoughtful service. £45 for 3 main courses and 2 drinks which is very good!

First time nehari khai nehari km soup zeyada lag rha tha no taste waste of money

Do go there occasionally as a regular. Sometimes its great, sometimes its ok. Service can be bit of hit and miss. Bit Lack of customer service. Pulled down face with no thank you or etc. It dosnt hurt to smile and appreciate customers now and then. Foodwise they are better than the service they provide.

My favourite place to go to for a curry.Lamb Karahi is delicious.But so is everything else on the menu,lamb chops are the best and everything is cooked fresh.Staff are always helpful and friendly it’s well worth the 20 mile drive to get there.

This is our go to place for the best curry around always spot on. Always great friendly service, very clean and tidy, fresh spicy ingredients and totally tasty. Chicken karahi and chicken balti have tender chicken and amazing sauces, bhuna is our favourite sauce on the side. Garlic nan is a must. Vegetable biriani has fresh vegetables and can be as mild or as hot as you like. We love the Mango lassi which is very nice to round it off. Highly recommend. Thank you team Al-Madina!

Lamb Karahi one of the best I’ve had

I wanted to try pani puri and yes it was good, then tried gril lamb chips found them to be hard they were not tender

My favourite place to eat in Manchester bar none. Delicious authentic food prepared and served by equally lovely people in relaxed surroundings.

Had high hopes as I heard lots of good things. Nice atmosphere in the shop and no loud music. But the meat was extremely overcooked and chewey, the staff had no customer service skills, or general communication skills for that matter (lack of manners and etiquette) and the food is overpriced for what it is. Won't be going here again.

A nice lunch while passing by..quite surprised never been there before.. Food was really good, mix starter very nice, chicken tikka was delicious, lamb tikka was a little chewy other than that food was good, nice experience..will go again to try other curries..

The food is superb. However, if you order takeaway you should be careful that your order might be forgotten and not prepared until you ask about it. We waited a total of 40 minutes while customers came in, ate, and went away. The grumpy guy behind the counter shouldn't be the one talking and dealing with customers.

The best food I've tasted in ages! A definite must go to place - if your in Manchester. The kids had spicy chicken burgers (proper fillet of chicken) and literally a plate full of fries, and me and the missus both had seekh kebab on naan and I had the mixed one with chicken tikka the meat was sucullent, tender, well spiced and the portions were well sized and all well priced for under £40!

Lamb chops good could have a bit more spice/flavour. Biryani good too good portion but could be spicier. Chicken pakora is meh. -1 because I have seen unethical behaviour practised by some of the staff in my time coming year such as telling visitors to the curry mile who are visibly white (not of south Asian descent) they don’t have a card machine or that there is a minimum spend for card when both is neither true as otherwise I’d refuse to give my custom. This shady behaviour has not been exhibited by the younger staff who have served me multiple times rather the older workers… just be aware but the food is nice and authentic for the most part.

This place is a real gem, good authentic food like you get at home. Great service and very reasonably priced. Had the paya which was truly exquisite and really hit the spot. Omar was never far away if we needed anything. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be coming back for more.

Very good customer service, excellent food, but please keep the door shut as food gets cold very quickly.

Would be nicer if people at till actually acknowledge the customers coming in and wouldnt hurt to smile(especially the 2 older guy) rather than looking all grumpy. 2nd time and no difference.

Quick review: dirty, greasy, noisy. Food had zero flavour, waiters didn't speak English. No parking. Only good though was it was cheap. Hardly any vegetarian options.

Tried this place for the first time a few days ago and orders a lamb madras. Really enjoyed it and it tasted like a real authentic Pakistani curry. Chapati was lovely too!

This place has changed so much since it had its refurbishment. The keema karai was so tasty. Now I couldn't eben finish half a naan. Oily tasteless. And service has dropped so much. Wouldn't go again defo not gonna recommend family or freinds stay away and spend money somewhere else
