Disgusting chicken Full of feather I paid £57 for disgusting food They did not even clean the chicken. I understand that it was so busy day before iftar in Ramadan but at least serve your customers properly.

Very delicious, nice and cooperative staff

Trust me I paid 20£ for two dishes and put both dishes to the garbage. We had chicken alfham on rice and chicken shawarma on rice. They warmed up the chicken with an old salad that you could easily smell it’s aged. There was loud tv and a number of men standing around us. The taste and service for this price is unbelievable. Frankly speaking, won’t recommend it for my enemy.

Ordered kabuli pilaf and al faham absolutely disgusting food. Kabuli pilaf taste like its not fresh and meat taste and smell bad. Chicken alfaham was dry burnt and overdone. I asked for humus and they charged 5 pounds for a tiny portion. Never gonna go again.

The Afghani palao at was truly exceptional. The rich flavors and aromatic spices transported me to the streets of Afghanistan. The perfectly cooked rice and tender meat added to the delight. The portion size was generous, leaving me completely satisfied. Truly a must-try dish!

I am their regular customer since 6yrs. Normally nice but this time they served me pink chicken (alfaham) i asked him to replace it for me but he recooked (burnt)the same one and brought it back. I again send it back but this time food never came back. I was dining in. But this was my last meal from this place.

they make lovely kobeda kababs, lamb chops.delicious rice and sauces.what i dont like is their naan breads.overall very nice food. 8/10

Today, I visited an Afghan Cuisine and opted for the Qabli Pilau, accompanied by a flavourful chickpea and potato broth, along with salad and sauce, all for £12.99. The price was reasonable considering the quality and quantity of food. The flavors were clean, refreshing, and the meat was tender. Payment is cash-only, but transferring money directly to their business account is convenient. The service was also commendable. I opted for takeout, and the food remained hot until I got home. A suggestion would be to wrap the lentil curry in clingfilm to prevent spillage. Overall, it's a fantastic dining spot, and I plan on returning.

Food was very bad, lamb chops were severely undercooked on the inside but borderline burnt on the outside, its clear that the grill was too fast. Chips were ok but ketchup and yoghurt dip were watery and tasted wrong. Rice was decent. Service was good but overall bad food. Wouldnt reccommend or come again.

The mixed platter is delicious and is sufficient for 2/3 individuals.

An amazingly delicious Qabli Rice every time we eat here. We've been dining at Afghan Cuisine for over 12 years and the recipe has remained unchanged. The Manto, Qabli Pilau, and Rotisserie Chicken on Rice are simply delicious. It's always busy here! Service is pretty quick despite the busyness, sometimes at Eid you have to wait up to 10 minutes for a table but otherwise, when we dined last night (Saturday evening, October 2023) there were plenty of tables available. The Chicken on Rice that we ordered came with a complimentary salad and two sauces (yogurt and mint raita, and a spicy sauce with tomatoes and chillies). The chicken was succulent yet the skin was crispy! I recommend coming here for authentic and hearty food. Yes the prices have increased lately but it's worth dining here every now and then!

The food is very delicious, if it was only for food this place deserves more then 5 stars. But unfortunately I can't say the same for the service, the waiter upstairs was not professional at all, I requested him to clean the high chairs for kids , and yet I have to clean them again, because he didnt do his job well. The plates were also not clean. There are paid parking spaces in the street across the road. Their kabli pulao is good, and highly recommended. Over all 3 stars for the whole experience.

Utterly superb Afghan dining experience. The place isn't much to look at. If anything it looks a bit basic. But the good is amazing and the service is quick and efficient. Always come here to eat when I'm in Manchester. Highly recommended.

Disgusting customer service and value. £5 just for 1 scoop of houmous requested after spending £50 upfront for food. Waiters disrespectful refused extra plates for a family of 8. AVOID IF YOU RESPECT YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY. Rusholme chippy has more respect for families.

It is always busy but the seating is a little outdated and there are no fans or air conditioning of any kind which was a little mood killer last time we went as it was roasting and we were literally sweating just waiting for the food

I visited this place yesterday during my trip to Manchester, we had a mix grill platter and rice. and it was absolutely mouth-watering. Everything was great and delicious.. the atmosphere was a bit blunt .. but the food with no fault... they don't accept cards... make sure you gor cash on you .. but there is a cash machine couple minutes down the road... I can't wait for my next visit to try it again

Reasonable. Chicken well cooked, bread a little doughy in the centre, minced lamb kebab was nice, cubed lamb a bit too chewy. Yoghurt sauce not great (watery yoghurt with a bit of dried mint = no taste at all). Food was ready fairly quickly. They have a decent amount of upstairs space with a few tables on balcony - I appreciated that. Cash only. Service was fine.

A cornerstone for the curry mile. Food is high quality and service is great too. Upstairs seating is the best, in the summer, there are tables in a balcony style sitting.

Excellent Kebab center, my 2AM spot to do the dinner. Lamb chops with Rice, chicken with rice is my favourite. Located in the famous rusholme area. But they accept only cash, so take the card with you. Else there is an ATM opposite the room around 200 ft.

Qabuli rice was good, kobeda was good but chicken with rice was a bit dry.

Kobeda kebabs are so tasty, and their rice is also very nice.

No one will welcome you in the restaurant you will go straight to sit and wait for the menu no one is going to provide you the menu I asked for the menu after that no one is coming back to take your order mismanagement a lot I will never ever insult myself to go in this restaurant.

So nice Afghani cuisines at reasonable rates. Nearby a very cheap car parking in the centre of the street . Nearby also many more restaurants bars and other shops.

This is a really nice place to go I would give a 5 but twice the food wasn’t nice the kebabs were smelling like petrol… though their rice is nice.. hopefully next time I’ll have a better experience…

Great authentic Afghani food in the heart of curry mile. The only cons are that it's cash only and the seating area is not very clean. There was also a random TV show playing out loud in the seating area, which ruined the vibe. They need to improve their ambiance to match the cuisine.

RUBBISH FOOD, AND SERVICE COLD FOOD, SPACE TOO TIGHT, we ate in balcony area with too much smoke and pollution and noise. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT FOR FAMILIES AND CHILDREN . ALSO VERY EXPENSIVE DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY

Reasonable choice, food was a bit chewy could have been cooked longer. Spoke to the staf, they said we sould have asked for it to be cooked longer. Probably wouldn't go again

Visited many times over the years when pop by to Manchester. A great place for afghan food, great grill options. Place seems to have been decorated since last visited few years ago. Reasonably priced.

Food is always delicious, fresh and consistent. My favourite is the qabuli pilau. Always receive a big portion. The lamb chops, kobeda and hummus are all great too. Some of the best food on wilmslow road by far. The service is really good too. Lots of seating upstairs and some outdoor balcony seating.

Best kobeda and kabilao pilao ever !! Absolutely spot on ! Staff deliver a rilliant customer service and seating area are nice too. Quality, quantity and price are thr perfect combo for a nice meal !

Lip smacking, clean, and soo gooood !!! Can’t wait for our next trip to Manchester to eat here again. We haven't tried the Kebabs much. But I would recommend to try the 1. Qabily Pillow (Kabuli Pulav) 3. Double Kobeda Kabab (Lamb Kebab) You’ll love it.

I’m a regular at afghan cuisine, always a safe choice, though they only accept cash. Service is always quick. Always opt for the kobeda on naan, very tasty and flavourful, same goes for the naan. Chips are okay nothing special and the sauce that is served never really complements the taste. Some negatives are, the sticky tables, cutlery doesn’t seem the cleanest. But overall would recommend good spot. 👍

The restaurant serves the same food as the half chicken is served around willmslow Rd Rusholme and this place is way too expensive it used it so cheap its gone so expensive like other Cuisine places and they give out drinks for money it’s not free they should start give the drink for free so people don’t have to spend more money on drinks
