Al Fairoz Kebabish in Milton Keynes

We ordered Lamb Karahi and seekh kebab. Seekh kebab were fine but the lamb karahi was horrible, had to ask the chef to re cook it as much of the meat was still hard and not tender. They reworked it but that did not made much of a difference. Service was too slow and disorganised. Loud music and too much noise. Bad washrooms. Would not recommend. On top of all this there was a sea shell in the lamb seekh plate as well !

Food was great and really good value (only spent £70 for 6 people!) . Abdullah's service was also amazing! Only issue is the table was too small to fit everything on and theres not enough seating for groups over 4 - would be great if you moved to a bigger space. Solid go-to spot for MK though.

Great atmosphere after the new rebranding, very kind staff as well, Abdullah was so polite and friendly to us and always made sure we have everything. Deffo recommended to everyone

Interior looks so nice and represent Pakistan, food was so fresh and clean. Staff were v frinedly and humors espicially abdullah, he made sure we got everything on the table. recomend it

After seeing them on TikTok I thought why not give them a go. Food was spot on the young man Abdullah was spot on very polite and always asking if we needed anything else make sure he gets a bonus. I would recommend and give it a try I tried the tawa platter and masala fish I really enjoyed every bit the naans especially where on point.

We are regulars at this place for 12 years recently they have had uograde the food portions have gone a lot better but the front service staff needs to be addressed they get confused witch is frustrating and the owner is a nice person very humble and kind food is excellent since the refurbishment but the the front staff the girls need a lot more training otherwise I would recommend to anyone keep it up guys appreciate your hard work and another problem is you are rushed into ordering by the girls so you don't feel at home it needs to be addressed this place is one of the best family restaurants around im sure you will adress the situation we went t back today food was a1-perfect and the new staff members Abdul and the new manager has changed all situations that were addressed last visit excellent 👍

Brought 2 meat samosa as a take away got outside and bit one of them and it was stale as hell to the point I had to spit it out and I never do that on the street. I bit the second one and that was stale as hell too. STALE FOOD so wasn’t even yesterday’s must have been several days old. Went back in to complain and not even a sorry!! Just said “what do you want me to do about it”!!!!!! I asked if they were fresh when I paid for them and they told me yes. FRESH MY FOOT that was rotten. I demanded my money back as this is not the first time this has happened to me but it will definitely be the last because I WILL NOT be going back there. Not a manner in their mouth 😡😡

Ordered food for the first time and was really impressed. The food was fresh and warm. Would highly recommend. The inside of the restaurant was nicely decorated too with plenty of seating so would also make a nice place to eat out with family and friends.

I’d highly recommend trying the Al Fairoz Special Biryani the flavours were rich, authentic, and perfectly balanced. You get a generous portion, and every bite was full of taste. The shop was also very clean, which is always a bonus for customers. There have been some amazing changes under the new management they’ve clearly made a real effort to improve, so please ignore any negative old reviews. They’re back and better than ever! I’ve been going to the Northampton branch regularly, but I wanted to check out the Milton Keynes branch as it’s closer to work and it did not disappoint! I 100% recommend it. The staff were so kind, the environment was lovely, and I absolutely loved the Pakistani icons display that was definitely my favourite part!

There have been so many amazing changes since the new management took over! The food is incredible, the Pakistani vibe and scenery are beautiful, and the staff are really kind. The prices are so reasonable it’s cheap for such high-quality food, especially when it tastes this good. The team were super friendly and made sure to ask me and my friends about our spice preferences, tailoring everything to suit us. I was absolutely disgraced by the food. The guy filled to the top a container full of random meat, like it was made 2-3 days ago. Couldn’t even tell you what meat that was (ordered via too good to go) the only edible thing was the chips. Don’t bother go here!

This place is dirty and over priced. The tables are sticky the chairs are ripped. Ordered chicken tikka rolls. Got 5 small pieces of chicken in each, with a small bit of salad. What a rip off. AVOID this place.

The shop was really dirty 😡and unqualified staff and I ordered mix grill kebab and the lady told me that salad is finished, then she go and cut tomato and onions very thick Weight value of the food was very very low like I paid £ 8.99 and food is 350gr and half of them is salad Don't recommending to go just wast off money

Great food and value for money , bit under rated

The last time I visited this establishment was around 2014. I decided to visit again being in the mood for biriyani. In all fairness to them their biriyani they serve is reasonably good. My main gripe with the establishment is that put it simply it's shockingly poor hygiene and maintenance inside the restaurant. It looks old and grotty on the inside and gives off a generally unclean feeling. Don't go to the toilets unless your very desperate. It barely has any customers whenever I see it from the outside and when I dine in. I imagine most of their business comes from take away items primarily fried chicken and burgers. Food is reasonably good but due to the poor dining in experience I imagine that's why there is barely any customers anytime dining in. Northampton al fairoz is a million times better. I don't think I'll ever go back to mk al fairoz.

Nihari was good portion and price, however unfortunately yesterday tried 3 boxes for 3 adults Haleem they said its good portion enough for 2 persons on phone, but one box was not even enough for one person and 99% was pulses / daal but no sign of beef within. I paid 30 plus pound and very unsatisfactory, please avoid Haleem. It was about half box for haleem than they gave for nihari, it was very disappointing and waste of money. each box was not worth more than 5 pounds each but charged 10 plus pounds.

Hi everyone, Today I was a shocked what I saw it , basically the drop the chicken on the floor and pick up and they pretend like nothing happened , then they start touching chips by hands and I asked them can you please stop touching my food, basically use the brush and didn't wash the hands come on serious guys,?!!!! quality of food not good like used to be, never ever gonna be back over there,!!!

Ordered half a chicken but I was given two leg quarters, no breast and the chicken was bland. Chips were hard and undercooked.

My son and I usually enjoy an after school kebab from al fairoz occasionally. We decided to visit this week, however since visiting we have not left the bathroom. Polite staff but unhygienic restaurant - disappointed.

My chicken was light pink and inedible. The chicken wings had visible hairs in them. The restroom was absolutely filthy and looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The salad was losing its colour, was old and stale. Only go there if you want food poisoning !!!

I ordered a chicken fried rice. The chicken was clearly old. It was rubbery and inedible. Called the restaurant. The owner confirmed it was made extra a while ago. I asked him to come and pickup the food and provide me refund. But he refused to do it and cut my call. Completely unacceptable food and the behaviour.

I ordered a party food for my son’s first birthday and everyone liked it and it was enogh for our party and they delivered on time. Will definitely order again when needed.

Very poor portion size and loud music

Customer service is really bad. I have bought two chicken biryani £10 each and i got them with a small curry container, like kids portion. When i asked them, they say now they start to giving small portion of biryani with full price.

Stan lokalu bardzo surowy i niezbyt czysty. Obsługa pomocna, cierpliwa i wyrozumiała. Chicken pakora i sos ostry - to moje nr 1. Chicken tikka masala - obłedne! Lamb tikka masala - niektóre kawałki mięsa dość twarde a inne rozpływały się w ustach. Korma - ok ale nie moje smaki. Naan - pyszny, córcia jadła na sucho 🫣😁

Ordered large mix grill. Only 2 chops and 2 pieces of seekh kebab. Everywhere else serve 2. No salad. Extremely small. Won't return which is a shame as this place was decent in the past.

Sadly have to agree with the other reviews. Used to come here years ago and it was one of the best grills in town. Chicken is dry, far too spicy for the half chicken, and just a general lack of care. For example we were served salad in a plastic bag… not the most hygienic.

Tried a chicken tikka roll. First the good parts the pot of chillie sauce was very nice. However the tikka roll was just bad. Was literally grilled chicken bits that tasted of charcoal. No colouring or flavour of tikka whatsoever on just plain dry nan no sauce no salad no nothing. This place has clearly been knocking this stuff out for years with no changes. There are so many other places in MK that serve tikka so much better. Worst part is can't even say well at least it's cheap for what you get because it's not.

Nasty food is the politest way of putting it. Ordered a Chicken Tikka Wrap Nan was burnt chicken was no better. Fish and Naan again Naan burnt and charcoal flavor the fish had so much batter if you could call it that and fried in burnt old oil. Save ur money better starve then eat from here again, Waste of Money.

AVOID !!!! The food was awful on my last visit in Feb 23. The meat dish had fat all over the meat, no taste or flavour.

The place has been going downhill for the last 10 years, it’s just filthy, toilets are disgusting staff are slow dirty clothes and sneezing on top of food while cooking it, absolutely filthy. Salad is just plain red cabbage (not even marinated) with huge pieces of onions and lettuce. Prices have doubled in last 3 years and it’s just shocking oh and it’s FREEZING COLD inside like a fridge

I asked for a lamb shish and chips, took it away got to my hotel room after a hard days graft and opened my meal ive veen dying for all day to find 4 koftas 😡 rung them and they said i dont understand you hahaha. Point proven there. So why have someone on the till who cant even understand the language of the country hes in lol

Been there twice, tried pizza and chicken with chips, disappointed twice. The taste was too bland both the times unfortunately.

Its very bad experience the quality was very bad and the taste was very very bad i even not eat it after my first bite.

The food is acceptable, poor hygiene of restaurant and eating utensils. Poor service the restaurant needs to improve on different levels. The fact that it was too cold and there was no heating we ordered multiple dishes which was served few minutes apart and by the time all our food was served it had started to cool down. Unpleasant and poor atmosphere to dine in.

Smoke from food cooking can make clothes smell.
