Aimes Tearoom in Stratford-on-Avon

Went to Amie's for mother in laws 102 bithday party. Had afternoon tea for 20 people. EXCELLENT AFTERNOON. Good food excellent staff . we where well looked after nothing to much trouble. Would highly recommend & would go again

I came into this awful place in December for breakfast with my partner. Upon arrival, I politely asked a woman who I believe to be called Karen for some poached eggs. Unbelievably, she moaned at me for ordering poached eggs as they were a pain to do. I could not believe the rudeness of this woman and was taken it back at such a simple order. When my poached eggs finally arrived, they were absolutely disgusting, completely undercooked and like an embryo. I complained about my eggs and this woman told me well if you don’t like it you can go elsewhere. I was completely gobsmacked. I will never ever be returning to this place because of this shear rudeness of this woman, Karen. This woman should not be on customer service, and quite frankly, is a bully.

I reserved this tearoom for a group of 16 for a birthday lunch. A special 80 th birthday. I asked for a cake and decorations to be included as well as the 3 course Christmas lunch. I cannot speak highly enough about Amie and her staff. Wow! My expectations were exceeded. The space we had, the decorations, and cake were beautiful. My Dad was truly blessed by everyone and everything for his birthday. Food was wonderful. Plenty to eat and drink. A very special lunch with many memories made. The family are still talking about the experience and how good it was. It made me so happy as it was so stress free for me.

We booked for Christmas Lunch - It was EXCELLENT! Presentation and service were great. Food served very warm. Large selection of veggies to accompany mains & delicious puds. Superb value for money. Thank you so much. We'll be back soon.

We went to Aimes for a four course Christmas lunch today, and I have to say that if we're in a five star restaurant the food and attentiveness could not be beaten. First class!!

Really good breakfast and a decent ploughmans lunch nice but the salad was cut too small and a bit bitty

If you are looking for consistency in your breakfast then try here. We had a fried egg and mushroom sandwich with butter on white bread and it was delicious! The food is consistently good and coffee is good too. Not the warmest in winter as it’s quite a big place to heat but staff are always friendly and there is a good garden centre attached.

Went for a breakfast for 3 of us, We had to leave our coats on the place was freezing, food was nice but not hot, didn't complain just wanted to get home and get warm, wont be going again until the warmer weather comes it spoilt the breakfast, Nowhere near the normal standard of this place.

Mom chose ham, egg & chips & Judith chose sausage, egg & chips - good size portions snd perfect chips & hot. I had ham and cheese melt with a small salad - tasty and generous portion. Ladies were helpful & swift and offered to take a photo when they saw me struggling to take a selfie! We’ve been here before - and it is as good as ever - tables clean and spotless and light and tastefully decorated with large open windows and lots of natural light

Popped in for a quick coffee (2) as in the area, to be greeted by “is that all” got the impression it was too much trouble! Not only that the coffee was grossly overpriced for two vending machine coffees (5.70) and to say it was a cheap bitter coffee is an understatement! Personally wouldn’t recommend.

Just had Coronation Chicken Baguette. It was lovely and a bowl of chips. Piping hot were the chips. Highly recommended.Wll definitely go again. Right next door to Les Topham nursery

popped in for breakfast after the refurb the food and service was as good as always with great coffee also and very good prices

We have been visiting for the past few years now and have never been let down. Breakfast is ALWAYS served fresh and hot! I have been many places for breakfast including chain restaurants and this place is by far the best and value for money. The staff are friendly and helpful.

visited aimes tearoom for a cup of tea . Asked for 2 cups of tea we only do pots so we said could we have a pot and 2 cups so the girl said I will have to charge for 2 as they would have to wash up the spare cup hence the price wasnt impressed

Popped in while my wife was shopping in the garden centre. Greeted by wonderful caring and friendly staff. They went out if their way to help me as I am disabled and even provided table service. When my wife joined me we had an outstanding lunch the fish pie was beautiful. Great staff great food great atmosphere what more can anyone ask highly recommended.

Took 35 people to Aime's Tearoom for a pre-planned 3 course meal! Excellent meal and excellent service. The staff coped well with the quantity of people and everyone thought it a great meeting.

Had been recommended to come here for the toasted teacakes.. Went to order at counter, absolutely miserable greeting, in fact the lady did not crack a smile in all the time we were there. Toasted tea cake was burnt. Another waitress came to take my hubby’s plate who had finished and my plate while I was still eating! There were a lot of OAP people in there who I imagine would like a smile or even a personal service but you didn’t get it this time. The cafe itself is quaint. After having fab service in the nursery next door it is a shame this service isn’t replicated in the cafe.

We had pre booked for an afternoon tea for a party of us from a care home with residents and carers. Our area in the conservatory was ready set up for us and they quickly bought out the yeas and offered coffees to those who prefer that. We then had a couple of cake platter with fresh cream scones and jam and a variety of cakes. The cakes went down well with our residents who know what a good cake tastes like!! They were massive slices as well and extra cream was provided in case anyone wanted some with their cake or more for their scone though they had plenty on! The staff were all very helpful and pleasant. They cleared up quickly and efficently after without making us feel rushed. It was a lovely treat after a wander around Castle Nurseries. I'd defintely come back myself for a cake and cuppa sometime!

Visited here on Saturday morning for breakfast, I had the larger breakfast it was excellent and very good quality/value . The only negatives are the metal canteen style tea pots are difficult to use especially as they fill it to the brim so when you come to pour it it simply goes everywhere. Food quality was excellent would recommend

Came here for breakfast with my hubby. Was good. There are a lot of places now for breakfast in the local area. Was about average on price. Food was cooked fresh and well. Would have been better with table service and coffee included in the price. Will revisit

Had their Mega breakfast was excellent various options including tinned tomatoes which I really like but don't see on a menu every often Very friendly staff would visit again for sure

Great place for a breakfast,only live around the corner and often use this cafe instead of making it ourselves, great staff ,clean room,reasonably priced and comes out hot,if your in the area and want a breakfast I would recommend,also plenty of free parking if your driving

Despite a notice on a large board at the entrance stating that the restaurant /cafe serves food from 9- 3pm Tuesday till Sunday, my wife and I arrived at 1.15pm on Sunday 26th November to find that the counter was cleared with no hot food available. . It does beg the question why there were three female staff covered in Christmas decorations on duty with only three couples having refreshments?

I took my wife and daughter into Aimes tea rooms late on Saturday they had finished but went out of there way to provide the most beautiful sandwiches for my wife and I and made my wife a lovely cheese salad as she has gluten intolerance they were so helpful and friendly and went that extra mile to make our visit a real pleasure.

The restaurant/cafe really needs updating. It was very popular but has not updated to keep pace with other places and is losing custom which is a pity. The toilet facility is awful. The hot food is cooked to order and is very good. Presentation is not too good but I like the 'homemade' touch.

Visited yesterday for lunch, lovely food, lovely staff except for lady that takes the orders and money, no eye contact, no smile, no manners, ordered a decaf latte, for which she gave me decaf coffee, when I pointed out her mistake I was told no you didn't in a rather rude tone, not the first time I have been here and she is always exactly the same. However food is lovely and that's what we go for.

We visited this lovely tearoom cafe before going to the lovely Castle nurseries next door.

I visit Aimes on a regular basis to meet with friends and chat over a cuppa. We usually have a light lunch which is freshly cooked to order. All good home cooking at a good price and really friendly staff. Thank you.

pleasant tearooms with a very good selection of food, however needs all tables chairs moving and a really good clean scrub in the corners shampoo of the carpet etc

Went during a sat lunch time. Restaurant full of pensioners. Had lasagne, salad , my daughter had a veg flan and salad. Food was ok/
