I went to your restaurant today lovely meal very relaxed atmosphere price was very good indeed

Visited Agra with my husband for the first time yesterday. The service was good considering there were two large parties and the restaurant was packed. The staff did their best to accommodate us. The food was amazing we will definitely be visiting as a family next time. Really impressed with this local restaurant.

Awesome experience, wish I'd be able to give more stars!!! Upon entering we instantly got greeted and seated by the nice waiter who seemed very excited and happy to take our orders and help us find our desired dish. Not only the food but especially the service was a 10/10, while ordering it seemed like the waiter really cared about us getting the things we really liked, he asked us about our choice of meat, about our spice tolerance and also told us about different dishes if he thought we'd like them. Overall the experience was incredible and I would go as far to say that it's been the best restaurant I've experienced in my lifetime. Exceptional food, incredible service and a nice relaxed vibe in the restaurant, 10/10 would absolutely recommend!!! PS: Great portion sizes too! You think it's small but don't get fooled

I wish I could give more stars!!! This was by far one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. The service was the best I have ever expirienced. Right at the beginning we were instantly seated. The waiter was very nice and tried to find the best dish for us based on our preferences. It really seemed like he cared about us. He asked if we were allergic to something or how good our spice tolerance was. The mood was very nice and calm. As well as the ambiance. The food was served in little pans to keep it warm. It was absolutly mind blowing. It was perfectly cooked and seasoned, at first the portion seemed a little small but that was miss leading in the end the food was very filling. After we paid we got a little choclate and wet wipes to refresh our faces. When we got out the waiter held the dor open for us. Overall I can say that this restaurant is worth visiting. The service and the taste of the food were a 10/10, would definetly recommend. The best indian food ive come to taste yet.

The best curry house in Beckenham/ the area! Used to go to Amber Fort until I came across Agra! The food and portions are so much better!! Service is great! The only thing I will say and this is for Agra to take on board, if they wish, it is a bit chilly when sitting in (wasn’t just me!) so a few degrees warmer when sitting in would be much appreciated! I think it could also be slightly brighter inside (lights and decor) which would make it feel a bit ‘cosier’ which just makes a lovely atmosphere when having fabulous food and drinks! Thank you, will always coming back!!

Got a take away last, something tasted a bit weird and within about an hour both myself and my partner were fighting for the toilet almost instantaneous food poisoning Obviously food standards or fresh food standards arent really considered here. Time and time again given this place a chance as it used to be great but never again im afraid

Fantastic, fresh ingredients, catered for my dislike of fresh coriander without any fuss and made sure I was ok. Great staff. The chicken madras was excellent. And the naan bread was perfect. Wish I’d tried Agra years ago!

Great local restaurant . Always use for take away , however the dining experience tonight was fantastic ! Staff attentive and courteous ( no rushing us to finish ) Food was presented in a contemporary fashion which looked picture perfect , but also had the taste to match Highly recommended

I was introduced to this Indian restaurant by a friend so I decided to firstly try it for a take away. I was very impressed. As a lover of Indian food I have trued so many take aways all around Croydon and have been disappointed by the formula food offered by most. Either the ingredients are poor or the sauces have been stewed to death. The fiid spoke fir itself the meat was tender and tasty and the spices and herbs punched through with the zing you only get from freshly cooked ingredients. We'll done chefs. I will be visiting soon as a dinner at my first opportunity.

This Indian restaurant was recommended by a friend and having had a take away which I really enjoyed I will be returning fir a sit down meal soon

My husband found this local restaurant and by the end of the evening decided its his favourite local restaurant! There was an enemy of romance with the dimmed lighting. Very nice. ❤️ The surroundings, atmosphere and staff are very friendly and the food was very nice as was the virgin pina colada. We would recommend this restaurant and it was filled with people enjoying this and good conversation. Parking is really good round there too!😊

Worst indian food I've ever eaten. WE WILL NEVER GO BACK The 3 of us were so disappointed. We ordered chicken korma, chicken pasanda and lamb archari and all 3 dishes were just tasting like sugar. Like A LOT of sugar. Even my saag paneer was sugary. When I told a staff member something was wrong with our plates he replied they were supposed to be this way. When I insisted and said there was sugar in the spinach he said that is how it's supposed to be. I do not understand the good reviews this restaurant has. The food was barely edible. Maybe something went wrong in the kitchen that evening. But the staff response was very disappointing.

I do not know if the two brothers? Who only gave one star reviews work for a rival establishment but my wife and I had a lovely meal here today. The service was polite, friendly, attentive and professional. The food was well presented, hot and delicious. We started with a cocktail and a pint of draught Cobra and a popadom each. My wife had lamb korai. I had king prawn tikka masala. We added peshwari nan, mushroom rice and saag aloo and a glass of Chardonnay. The meals were served on spotlessly clean preheated plates. The staff were keen to enquire if everything was to our satisfaction and it was. At the end of the meal we were given hot towels to wipe our hands and received complementary drinks of Baileys for my wife and brandy for me. The bill came to just over £64 and it was worth every penny. A really nice meal in very nice surroundings with excellent service. What more can you ask for? Please try this place we were almost put off by the couple of negative reviews which do not reflect our experience.

Another Bangladeshi restaurant misusing Indian name for a restaurant. Name sells. 1. Agra special grill. £16.95, Portion too small to share. (1 prawn,1 lamb-chop,1 chicken-leg, 1ready chicken-cube and 1 chicken-sausage) Meat pieces stale and dry. 2. Chicken biryani £10.95 Rice stirred with veg curry that was mixed with shredded chicken without any flavour of whole spices. 3. Methi Gosht £ 12.95. Boneless pieces of lamb added to onions and spices that have not been cooked thoroughly. Unpalatable 4. Hariyali Chicken £ 10.95 Canned spinach added to red strips of chicken and with lots of added sugar. ( God knows why The cook or Chef should try replicate and practice recipes available on U-Tube. I won’t go back there again for sure.

The food taste was horrible!! Those dishes cannot be Indian food!! We ordered Agra tandoori grill and the taste and portion size was much to be desired. For main course we ordered chicken hariyali ( which was basically tandoori chicken pieces dropped onto a sweet and badly smelling sauce), methi gosht special (which only tasted spicy/hot and nothing else), chicken biryani (which had no taste of cardamom or cinnamon, but tasted like some stale old curry hurriedly mixed with 4 small pieces of chicken and rice). Even the garlic tandoori rotis did not taste fresh or garlicky!! Avoid this restaurant at all costs!! In the name of Indian food this restaurant is fleecing its customers with bad food!!

One of the best Indians I have had in a very long time, everything was perfect from when you walk in to the food. Could not say one bad thing about it. Great service and the manager was absolutely lovely would definitely recommend!

When I walked in the place was empty. At 12.15 on a Saturday I was feeling a bit apprehensive. But the food was good and the service more than adequate. By 12.30 4 tables were occupied. Nice place for breakfast or lunch.

Disappointed, as this has always been my go-to Indian. Last night's food was tasteless, I had to season the food myself to make it edible. Not acceptable for a £40 order. And to top it up, the wrong curry was delivered. Not impressed at all!

Went for dinner on their 80s night for my birthday. It turned out to be a surprise birthday gathering for me! There were also two other birthday celebrating groups. The DJ had an 80s music quiz.. 😂 and points were awarded to each table depending on how well they were scoring. There was such great cameraderie tables started helping each other out and tables took to the floor in dance, to celebrate their point. Wasn't long before we were all dancing together (even others who just popped in for dinner). The service was great, food was fresh and lovely, the restaurant was clean, staff were so professional and friendly and good fun. Will I go there again? Definitely. I have been forever changed by this one night at Agra. I would never look at having dinner in a restaurant the same way again.. now I know how much moooooree fun it can be. Thanks, Agra, for a lovely birthday celebration.

Me and my husband have take away from Agra Beckenham and this is the first time for us , sad to said last time for us it well, the food is not up to the standard!

Last night me, my partner and my brother ordered a curry from Agra and it was fine that night but this morning all of us have been ill. I will not be ordering from here again, don't want to be sick again! What a disappointment!

Food is outstanding, the staff are really friendly and chatty, we were even offed a drink on the house. Best indian restaurant in Beckenham by far!

This was our first time with this restaurant we've been looking for a new India restaurant for a while and I'd have to say we have found it, the delivery was super fast and the food was outstanding, amazing flavours and quality will definitely be ordering from Agra again highly recommend.

Stopped off for a bite to eat after a long day, was the closest curry house but what a little gem, the owner was very friendly and chatty but not intrusive, the food was promptly served and delicious, a good blend of spices and cooked to high standard, the mains followed and served up by the attentive waiter, it was amazing, i had chicken Jalfrezi, coconut rice and peshwarin naan, the naan was freshly cooked and the dough was soft still, lots of coconut but not too much, best naan i have ever had. thank you to all the staff.

Fantastic mixture of spices making dishes flavoursome and the hot one actually super tasty(king prawns mirchi). The Paneer Shashlik also bursting with so much flavours and aromas. Very friendly and attentive staff including the manager. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Large order on a Friday. Very organised, they provided a complimentary bottle of red wine and papadums. Food was delicious as usual highly recommend.

Friendly staff and really nice menu

Not to brag or anything but i'm Indian and I know my Indian food and let me tell you, my God, is this place delicious!!! Normally, a lot of Indian restaurants have okay customer service but this place surpasses any restaurant that I have visited. I've also recently ordered a take away from them because I was ill and they were so lovely! Excellent service! I definitely recommend. Decently priced, delicious food and excellent service. What more can you ask for?

Since moving to Beckenham 3 years ago we've always ordered a curry from Agra. Today I feel like it is the end of the road for us. Firstly the order took a long time to come and was delivered Luke warm. Second the order was wrong and we were sent plain rice instead of pilau rice. Third our favourite dish the 'Tandoori King Prawn Masala' (£12.95) has not met our expectation as it came in a large plastic tub with prawns covered in approx. 3 tablespoons of sauce when normally it is filled to the top. I called the restaurant to feedback my thoughts and they're response was to let them know next time I order and they will ensure the quality of food is to my expectation. To be honest I expected a part or full refund on my order as there was so much that dissatisfied me. As I've said before I valued this takeaway a lot and I just feel disappointed and let down. I never write reviews but felt I had to express my thoughts.

This Indian resteraunt is, without a doubt, the best in London. The food is delicious and fresh, and fantastically priced. All of the staff are polite, attentive and helpful. Our family are regulars here and visit two or three times a month, and the quality never drops.

DISGRACEFUL liars - this company advertises a delivery service via Just Eat but if you try and place an online order with them, they wait 15 minutes and then reject it, deliberately leaving you inconvenienced and hungry. Do not EVER use these timewasters.

I've been going to the pink garlic since it opened its doors and I have to say it's getting better as each week passes. The food is superb and the staff very helpful and friendly. Very we'll priced in a lovely atmosphere.
