Mmmm RAW uncooked meet just what every growing person needs. 3 items from the order weee missing, they don’t answer the phone and I would not feed this burgers to my cats

Ordered burgers & fries. The food tasted delicious, was hot and all packaged extremely well, will definitely be using Leo’s Kitchen again

Visited recently on a Monday when the eat out scheme was running. The four of our group ordered different starter and mains. Everyone really enjoyed the food. I particularly loved the prawn starter. Absolutely delicious. The cocktails were nice. We did have to waited quite a while for our mains but it was very busy, so we were not to bothered by this. Staff were pleasant. The music playing in the background was quite loud and we did have to speak loudly to each other. There was hand sanitiser at the entrance when we arrived. The tables were not too close together. There were a lot of families there and they all appeared to have enjoyed their food. I would go back again 👍🏼

Well prepared for social distancing and very pleasant surroundings. Service was generally good and the food was fine. However when paying nearly £20 for a steak I would have expected it to come with something else on the plate and not have to pay extra (and pay a lot extra) for fries, mushrooms etc. I come from the South of UK and we have many fine restaurants down here and serving steaks in the same price range but you would get fries/ chips a mushroom , grilled tomato and often a salad in the price. Drinks were also a bit pricey. Having said that we had had great birthday celebration as a family

Some of the dishes I had were very good, others were mediocre/not to my taste buds. However, the true failing of the dinner was the service, they seemed understaffed and it was incredibly slow. In total it took 1h35mins to get served starter and dinner! If they upped their staffing/service game I would go again as some of the dishes were great and i'd like to try again, but there are better options available in Beckenham.

Visited here for an evening meal and had a pleasant experience. Have been here before and always found the food to be well prepared and in good portion sizes. Service was polite and prompt. Food took a while to arrive despite the venue not being too busy but expect this was due to takeaway service also being a popular choice. Food was well cooked, hot and tasty. Opted for the falafel burger and thick chips which was very nice and filling! Good, relaxed atmosphere. Would return again.

I popped into Leo's Kitchen with my mum. We've been there happily many times before. This time the food was mediocre and the service not good. There were only ever 4 tables occupied but they were doing a roaring trade in takeaways which seemed to take priority. We waited an eternity for everything and they forgot our water and cutlery. The water jug was not very clean which I mentioned as we were paying (though not all the other gripes). The waitress told us if it was that bad then don't come back again! I can't tell you how fast our cash tip went from the table into my handbag. I am more than happy never to darken their unwelcoming door again and to positively not recommend them going forward.

Lovely food, varied menu, polite staff, parking down side roads and paid car park behind cinema but we went on Valentine’s Day and staffing was stretched meaning we didn’t get asked if we’d like more drinks or a dessert. In their defence, we were offered free drinks for the long wait. Main course was lovely but personally I really don’t like it when part of a meal which should come with your dinner is only served up as extras. It makes it an expensive meal. E.g. Steak is served by itself, no chips/potatoes, no veg, they are all extras costing a further £8 minimum. Burger choice is better value as they do come with chips and coleslaw.

Great burgers but service is a little slow and we had a minor issue with language and the waiter’s interpretation of our order with a “single ultimate burger” arriving as a “simple burger”, which isn’t a menu option. Not a big deal but took the shine off the meal. Didn’t have bottles of sparkling mineral water. They offered my son a complimentary ice cream for his birthday, which was a nice touch.

Restaurant was welcoming staff lovely we ordered three roasts which came up semi warm which was a shame as the quality of food was good ordered extra baked potatoes they came up piping hot shame the roasts were not if they could address this then the roast would be perfect.

Me and my girlfriend went here on a Saturday night. Staff very welcoming and don’t rush you. Very punctual and polite. Food was great. Beef Bourguinon and the Haddock were brilliant. Will definitely be returning to try other dishes. Cocktails are amazing too.

Thia was our first visit since changed from Buddies. I can only say what a let down. Find not up to scratch and poor service. Will not be returning .

Having looked at the reviews decided to try out the restaurant, ordered two starters which were nice but the mains were average. Ordered a burger and lamb. Burger was dry, had better for the price elsewhere. Prices are satisfactory as is the food, not awful but not amazing either. Won’t bother returning.

The food was good. The majority of the food was good. One dish was not so great. The order was a little wrong but we went with it. Overall it was pretty good.

After reading some reviews we decided to try Leo’s for a roast dinner. From the moment we arrived the service was impeccable with out being too full on. We had the calamari which was lovely and a generous portion. The roast was lovely with a great selection of vegetables. My only disappointmentwere the roast potatoes but we did eat quite late so that may have been the issue. However the rest more than made up for it. Spotlessly clean, and great layout of the tables so not squashed in. Will definitely return and recommend to others

At 16:45 on a Saturday afternoon, I had telephoned ahead a few minutes earlier to check they had a table available. The friendly lady had advised we would need to vacate in two hours, which was more than enough time for our pre cinema dinner with our show starting in an hour.We were warmly greeted and shown to our table and left to read over the menu. Drinks orders were taken a few minutes later by which time we’d also decided on our food choices. We both ordered Oreo shakes and burgers, one with French fries and the other with triple cooked chips, and both done medium/well. The Oreo shakes were presented in lovely tall sundae glasses with wide paper straws.Not my usual drink of choice with a burger but a welcome indulgence and yummy distraction whilst we waited a bit longer than expected for our food.The burgers came well done and were divine, being tender, succulent, wonderful quality meat and superbly tasty. They were clearly home made and freshly prepared with care and more than worth the wait. We were asked if we’d like sauces and my daughter chose mayo and was presented with a small dipping dish for her fries and a squeezy pot for her burger - I thought this shows care and thoughtful attention to detail. Portions are very generous and we were both satiated.The bill was presented without an assumed service charge, and left for me to determine the tip, which I always appreciate.

My partner and I dine here at least once a month, the food and cocktails are the best in Beckenham and surrounding areas. The steaks and burgers are always cooked exactly to our liking and the accompanying dishes are perfect. The service is also wonderful. Thank you Leo's! :)

We had a fab chateau briand - perfectly cooked and the service was excellent. Great ambience and professional staff. We will be back again soon

The Wife and kids booked a meal for Father’s Day. We’d not eaten there before. Everything was pretty good and the staff were pleasant and accommodating, although a bit rushed off their feet at times as they had a few bookings. I had the T-bone steak medium - very good. Loved the Baileys chocolate mousse! Didn’t break the bank either. We’ll definitely go back.

We booked for a birthday lunch for 9 people and wow were we happy with the choice ! The roast dinners were the best I’ve ever had ! The potatoes were crisp, the Yorkshire puddings were enormous and crispy, the veggies were cooked perfectly and the portions were generous!

We have been here many times and always enjoyed it as a family, so we recently ordered it from Deliveroo. We ordered a burger that automatically came accompanied with fries, a package, which they failed to deliver the fries. Deliveroo contacted me to offer the restaurant refund on the fries element but despite half of the meal missing and the fact this was not ordered as fries + separate burger would not refund me for the burger. I asked if they could send the fries to follow...but no. I got a burger and a £2 refund and was left hungry. I was disappointed as I don’t think they would have treated me the same if I had been in the restaurant and half of my meal had been missing. I won’t be back which is a shame. £2 compensation is not adequate.

I visited Leo's for a dinner with my friends on Friday evening. The evening was perfect from beginning till the end.

Went to Leo's Kitchen last night for a meal with friends and had a great time. We were greeted very warmly by the waitress and food and drinks were quickly ordered and served.The food was well cooked and nicely presented - we had a burger, the salmon and the risotto cakes. The restaurant had a nice ambience, we appreciated the 80's music and the toilets were spotlessly clean. All in all an excellent experience and we will definitely return and recommend to others. We visited Leo's kitchen yesterday on our way back from an event. We could not have chosen a better place to eat. GREAT service, GREAT food and LOVELY people, (owned by a family). My companion was a very famous chef, so it is very difficult to convince him on where to eat, but LEO stood out with great lights. Not only we loved the food, also got to know the family and their son LEO (pictures on the wall), we had a great time. The tables give you enough space to walk around without overcrowding others, you can also hear each other :) (difficult to find nowadays) We highly recommend it. Just try it out, you will not be disappointed! We tried a tasty Sunday roast which comes with vegetables, the Californian red wine followed by their delicious desserts (to die for). Please DO NOT LEAVE this restaurant without trying THE CHEESECAKE....We will certainly be back.

We had a lovely Sunday roast here. The staff are also very friendly and nice. The decor inside is lovely and it was really relaxing. Will definitely be coming back again soon 😊

Visited Leo’s for the first time this weekend for my friends birthday. There were 13 of us in total. The ambience is very lovely, nice decor. It’s a lot smaller than I expected it to be. We paid a deposit of £5 per head which was understandable for a big group. The table was booked for 7pm and a few people were late but we were served drinks while we waited. Unfortunately our food order was not taken until 7:45 and that was only because we asked. I had the asparagus to start which was very yummy and then the red curry which was also nice but personally I think it was very overpriced. The service in general was a bit all over the place, the restaurant was full but it’s only small and they had plenty of staff. We all fancied a dessert but as we’d been in the restaurant for longer than we intended, we didn’t which was a shame. The beer & wine is very good value for money. There was service charge on the bill which I never mind paying but it was a lot considering our service was pretty bad but we couldn’t remove it from the bill. I probably won’t return anytime soon.

My wife and I popped in to Leo's Kitchen late on saturday afternoon. The restaurant looked nicely chilled out like a New York bistro and there were a few people dotted around. The waitress that initially greeted us was friendly and took our order once we were ready. The drinks took a while to appear as the waitress/poss owner spent her time chatting to a guy at the bar and even stopping to sort his drinks. My wifes cocktail was perfect though and once the evening waitresses turned up the service was brilliant.

8 of us met up for a pre xmas catch up. Really like the new menu, much more variety. Picked a very nice Italian Zinvandel off the wine list. The food was good as always but as it was Saturday night and busy the service was understandably a little slow. We did not feel rushed though and I always like eating here as its a friendly place.

We had booked and paid a deposit, when we arrived the Resturant was lovely and warm and welcoming and we were the 3 rd table to be seated. We greeted one another and then after 20 min gave our drinks order (our fault) waited 10 mins for our drinks, then after another 1/2 hour we called over the waitress to take our order for food. Waited about 45 mins for our starter, then more drinks soft and alcohol, then we waited for our mains, by now the resturant was full. A table of 6 by us had come in after us eaten and left before our mains had arrived, I had to ask the staff when we’d eat. At last the food arrived, 3 meals went back to be heated as the veg were all cold, the meat and or fish were placed on top of the veg.

I thought the food was excellent. Near Christmas, being full sometimes the kitchen can slip up but this was not the case - we had an excellent meal. The burger was better than I've had in places like 5 Guys and Byron. Service was very good but we had to ask twice for table water, which seems to happen in lots of places these days. I thought the wine was a bit on the expensive side but I will come again.

Visited here on 2/11 for sons birthday. Nice decor. Enjoyed the meal. Nice food. Ok service. Good cocktails. Reasonable prices. Parked round the side roads. Would go again.

Had a very nice meal. Good portion sizes and service was polite and unintrusive. Menu wasn’t too extensive but varied choice. Had the pudding ‘special’ of coconut & almond rice pudding with cinnamon which was soooo lovely, would highly recommend!

All courses were served lukewarm. Starters were bland and below expectation. Beef burger would have been nice if it had been served warm or hot. Staff were nice and dining room was cosy and pleasant. Wouldn't rush back due for the food.

Fantastic restaurant, nice atmosphere. The staff were lovely providing great service and great food. We are booked to go back there!

Had high expectations coming here but for a number of reasons I won't be returning

The menu looked interesting and tempting. I decided i wanted the roast dinner. Sadly I was dissapointed. I found it all very bland. The gravy was tasteless, the 2 roast potatoes were hard and with no flavour of rosemary as promised. The Yorkshire was good and the horseradish sauce but the skimpy portion of not great beef left me adding far too much salt to try to get some taste to it all. shame as it looked nice! My partner had the tempura prawns which he was very happy with.

I've been here a few times and the food is always excellent and service perfect. I didn't bring the children this time, but when I have they've been welcoming and accommodating in every way.

We eat here a great deal and tonight it was so very good . As I work in a hotel and usually I work on Sunday we never go out . I had the roast beef and it was delicious and my wife said her salmon was delicious too . Than you Maria for your amazing service.

Have visited a few times now and never disappointed. I had the roast beef and there was plenty of it which was perfectly cooked with fresh vegetables and crispy potatoes, gravy and Yorkshire pudding was absolutely amazing. Had the baileys and dark chocolate mousse as my pudding and it was delicious. Service was attentive and friendly, absolutely one of the best restaurants in the area, can’t wait to try the rest of their menu. Highly recommended.

One of our favourites for sometime with nice varied menu, lovely cocktails and good friendly service. However, the food is quitecordinary and the cocktails overpriced. Bye bye Leos.

absolutely love this place!! I wish there was one in croydon or brixton. the food is so delicious and the cocktails are amazing. Id recommend this place for various occasions. It is a bit quiet though, so if it's for a birthday, it's best for a smaller group!

We visited last night as a group of four. We had a great meal - the wine we picked was great. For 3 courses we thought the value was superb. Our waitress was very attentive and our food arrived quickly.

Went here on the off chance that we could get something nice to eat and we were not disappointed. The service was quick and helpful and the food I ordered was of an excellent quality. I would definitely recommend and we will be returning to try some of their cocktail selection.

Had a meal with friends on Saturday night. The sr ice and food was exceptional. The staff were lovely and efficient without being a nuisance. The food was amazing. Can’t say a negative thing about it. Will definitely go again and would highly recommend it

Visited here last night, had the Welsh sirloin steak, literally came on the place by itself, no salad garnish, nothing! £16.95 , had to order sides as an extra, fries £2.95, the steak was over cooked at med- well, thin and tasteless! The chicken burger looked the best! Deserts, we asked for ice cream instead of cream and they charged extra for that, overpriced, sadly won't be going back

A friend and I were hungry and found a table at Leo's! The staff were so helpful and friendly and this was consistent throughout the evening. We ended up being the last table and did not even realise it as we were not rushed out!

Went to Leo’s kitchen last night with a friend. Very lively place, we hadn’t booked but they squeezed us in on a table by the window. Ordered just bread and calamari to share for starters. Was really nice with added fresh chillies on top. I then had seafood linguine and my friend had the Thai curry. All very tasty. One small criticism- I didn’t care for the squid in the linguine, it was quite thick and the fact that they put Parmesan cheese on before bringing it to the table. Seafood pasta shouldn’t have Parmesan cheese on anyway. Apart from that was very nice, I would go back.

Me and my husband came here on New Year's Eve and was a bit worried as it wasn't busy this changed after about 20 minutes and most of the tables was full. We ordered the duck spring rolls, burger and rib eye steak and let me tell you that everything was amazing!!!!! Leo's kitchen is one of the best restaurants we have been too. The staff are amazing, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.

Had a wonderful dinner with friends last night. Everyone’s food was amazing but my fillet steak was absolute perfection. Very friendly service and reasonably priced. A real Beckenham gem ;-)

Good location very near to the odeon so handy for pre film meal. Friendly staff, good choices on the menu and for the quality of food, reasonably priced. The chicken wings were very good and the 'ultra burger' was excellent. This is a very good little restaurant.

The restaurant is named Leo after the owners child, I have eaten there many times with my wife and a huge group of friends, the owner has been a chef at some of the worlds best 5 star hotels in London. Therefore the quality and ingredients are far better than your average restaurant. The woner is often in the kitchen and is so passionate about the food. I love the Steaks and starters and deserts everything is of really high standard.

I had Sunday lunch at Leo’s Kitchen today, my friends and myself all had the Sunday roast and it was delicious, everything was cooked perfectly. The Yorkshire puddings were massive. The attentive service without being overpowering and the nice atmosphere just added to a good time. We went early Sunday afternoon and the restaurant was busy so I would recommend booking. We will be back.

Every dish is beautifully prepared. The staff are extremely amiable and recognise frequent diners very quickly. A hidden gem. I recommend the liver or steak with blue cheese sauce. Yummy.

Visited this restaurant with two friends on a Friday evening sadly our table was sandwiched between a large table of young ladies celebrating something, all good fun and not a problem, and a couple where unfortunately the man felt it necessary to keep shouting Oi Leo over here mate and making very sexist comments loudly or relaying to the supposed Leo every steak he had eaten on his tour of the states so it was almost impossible to hold any conversation he was obviously a regular customer and I felt uncomfortable as did my friends. The food was average not what we anticipated and hoped for from the menus description, the starters crab cakes were really quite unpleasant the mains were better but the triple cooked chips may have been reheated as were not crispy at all, we didn't do pudding. The staff were OK the young girl that served was very pleasant and the man who seemed to be in charge whether called Leo or not did I think sense we were fed up with other guest and I appreciate that is a difficult situation to deal with but I felt it was money wasted :( not the enjoyable evening we hoped for.

Tried this based on local reviews. Was not disappointed. The service was friendly, attentive but not overbearing. Our waitress was good fun, chatty without feeling like she wanted to be part of our group. The food was fantastic, definitely one of the best meals out we've had for a while. They serve great wine, and lovely cocktails - What's not to like?

Delicious roast superbly cooked. Ordered fried ice cream with toffee syrup as dessert, it was delicious too. Second time I have been in that cozy restaurant and I’ll defibutely go back again. Lovely blackground music and friendly staff.

Ordered a rib-eye rare. It arrived and was amazing! Much better than an Argentinian VERY PRICEY steak house in London! Pros: Food is Amazing! Cons: Noisy and its the kind of joint that they sing Happy Birthday every now at then at the parties attending

Love this restaurant! The food, drinks and the staff (especially Lucy) are amazing, whenever I go I feel so comfortable knowing I'll be well looked after.

On the off hence we were taking a leisurely walk and stumbled upon this venue which was previously a burger and fries establishment. We were pleasantly surprised by the food and selection regarding the children's menu. The portions were generous and not due to lack of flavour or taste the girls milkshake went down a treat and the calm relaxed atmosphere added to the experience of a nice family meal out. I would definitely go again and would implore others to go. Support this local business to keep local community restaurants alive.

Visited for Sunday lunch, very pleasantly surprised with everything. All 3 starters were excellent as were the mains especially the fillet steak. The only slight downside were the roast potatoes which were too big and not at all crispy. All the staff were lovely, very friendly and happily boxed up my leftover steak they even popped some extra Stilton sauce in. Definitely be back, soon!

Went on a Saturday for an impromptu lunch with 2 children. We didn't order anything from the children's menu, but there looked like an OK choice for kids. We just ordered 2 portions of fries for them. We had burgers: chicken and the beef. Both really good and portion sizes are fine. The service was good and both the waitresses were lovely with the children. My only negative was that my glass of prosecco was a bit flat, but other than that it was good!!!

When my boyfriend and I walked in to join our family, a miserable waiter barely greeted us and seemed annoyed when we asked for drinks.

We were a group of 6 to celebrate a friends birthday - we all had different starters and all very good and the mains of different steaks, chateau Briand and fish were all very well cooked and the sides were great - don't normally like chips but these were very good.

My husband treated me to dinner at Leo’s Kitchen last night to celebrate my birthday and I can honestly say it was the best meal we’ve had in years. From the moment we walked in (25 minutes early for our booking) the staff were so friendly and helpful.

We had great burgers here - we sat outside, service was great, very friendly and the food was really tasty. We'll be back!

We booked this venue on line on a spur of the moment and we are very glad we did.

We were a family of 6 & had pre booked for a 2pm lunch. The cocktails were wonderful, hats off to the bar staff! We waited a long time to have our drink orders taken, an even longer time to have them delivered, food order was made later & some food arrived before the drinks that were ordered before the food. Sort that element of your service out & you will have nailed it. The goats cheese salad was beautiful as was the risotto dish. The kids loved the Oreo milkshakes & luckily they arrived early. The food is good & some dishes are great, just need to sort out your service & speed things up & you will have a restaurant worth returning to.

This is my partner and mines favourite spot, one of our first dates were here when it was originally Buddies and remains top of our lists. Its cozy and that one blonde lady I must take the opportunity to learn her name just adds to the experience, shes overly lovely, heart and soul of the restaurant (look forward to seeing her everytime).

Nice trendy bistro style restaurant which serves good food and especially good steaks. We love it as our post-cinema restaurant.

My boyfriend and I love this place. The customer service is spot on. There is a lady that regularly works and serves us (unfortunately I do not know her name). She worked there when the restaurant was called Buddies and she is amazing. Food wise: they nail a medium rare steak and all the sides are incredible. They are one of the rare restaurants locally that offers macaroni cheese with truffle: pure heaven on a plate. I have been to some extremely expensive restaurants in London and their food is far better. I have also been to every restaurant in beckenham l, whom offer similar menus and again, their food is much better. Strongly recommend for families and date nights.

Went here with my partner recently for a last minute bite to eat and it was an excellent choice.

My family, partner and myself visited Leo's last week for my 21st and we all left feeling ecstatic from the service we all received and stuffed to the brim from all the amazing food. After arriving the wonderful waitresses gifted me with beautiful flowers and took our drink orders promptly, for the entire night my drink was never empty. They were very accommodating whilst waiting for the rest of the party to arrive topping us up on bread, olives, drinks etc. All in all the food was amazing, drinks were amazing, staff were amazing, atmosphere was amazing and we will all be definitely returning.

Went here for a late lunch with a small group of friends. We had a lovely table with comfy seats and the waiting staff were very attentive. Not all of us had starters but those we did have (calamari, soup and a meat platter to share) were delightful. For mains, the burgers were of excellent quality and my husband was especially pleased that he didn't have to order chips which he wouldn't have wanted. One of our party had a fillet steak with a diane sauce which was tender and cooked exactly as required and reasonably priced. I had chicken escalope whilst another friend had turbot. Both were excellent but the turbot was superb, beautifully cooked with a delicious creamy sauce.

Stopped in for the Sunday roast. Reasonably priced & plenty of it. Porn Stars weren't bad either. Would I go again - Yes

Fell on this place as a second choice after we couldn't get in elsewhere. Had seen it open but had never been in. The menu has a good range of dishes from burgers to salads, steaks and sandwiches with all the usual options of fries veg etc.

Me and my girlfriend were serching for a good restaurant in the area, and after a 5h serch on the internet we ended up in this faboulous restaurant!

Waitress gave one of us the wrong order. Steaks were small but fairly tasty. My friend enjoyed his dessert. Pricey as you have to buy the sides on top of the steaks. Quiet and intimate. Service fairly friendly and quick. Nothing to write home about - much prefer Gaucho when it comes to me steak, or even something as simple as The Saucy Sausage which is cheap and cheerful with a big plate of tasty food surrounding a nice simple steak.

Very attentive staff and lovely food. I'll definatley be back. I loved my choice of starter. Prawn cocktail with Avacado. My main meal was Salmon. Good atmosphere especially enjoyed the music too.

I had visited here before for Sunday Lunch. However we visited here for Saturday brunch and the portions were pleasantly very generous. Aside from the portion sizes the taste were very much up to par. My daughter was delighted that the food tasted so delightful on her special day. The staff were more than accommodating and very attentive to your wants & needs

Cosy and informal with a discreet but attentive serving staff. A varied menu with choice for everyone and serving the best steaks ever, cooked to perfection exactly how you request it. Me and my friends thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Leo's kitchen! The food was amazing and the staff were so attentive and friendly it completely made our experience! Our waitress on 16th march was fabulous, we will definitely be coming back to sample the rest of the menu!
