Disgusted Walked in unimpressed having to ask someone to clean table before we sat down...Left feeling disgusted, found a gigantic hair embedded in the middle of my waffle. Got a "sorry" and "I'll make you a new one"... suffice to say I didn't want a new one. Pretty horrific place. Hygiene and customer service zero... if I could take off the one star from the review I would.

Awful food. Rude staff. The cookie dough was compressed with parts that were cooked and uncooked. Parts looked like they had been eaten. Spoke to the staff who were extremely rude. Don’t bother going to this restaurant. Waste of your time, quite frankly offputting

Very rude ruined my family dinner l. We went out after 4 years for the first time. This ruined our day and all emoptions. Please u beg you stay away from this place

DISCUSTING is the word to use for the stuff. Infact, words cannot describe my experience. Very rude stuff, took money and didn't provide the product. When asked for a refund they refused to give refund or the product. Never again wil enter this place.

Absolutely terrible service with very rude staff. No respect for any customers and act as if customers are getting the food for free. Food is served incorrectly and orders are never right. Honestly a terrible place to eat.

They got some nice flavors ice cream only down point is the kids playing area get so loud apart from that it’s good

Use to love this place a lot. Now get very disappointed with the service with the ice cream with everything. I ordered a cherry ice cream they give me the wrong one with coconut, I request them to changing it they refuse they just throw on top couple of cherry’s and that’s it. Even the scoops was wrong.... have to eat the hazelnut which I hate it just because I payed for it. Will not gonna recommend this place any more..

went here with family and was overcharged for what we had bought. Staff gave the wrong items and then denied to make fresh ones. Coffee arrived right at the end when everything was finished and then when we confronted them about overpayment they tried to convince us that we were wrong. very disappointed and will not be visiting again

Personally I'm not a fan of these local dessert parlours as they are all the same. I prefer the branded dessert parlours but ended up in Afters after dinner and asked for a hot cake, which was not very hot and I was given the wrong ice cream which was then changed for the right one. My wife asked for a cone with mango and vanilla, both of which had a very strange hint to them Wouldn't recommend.

Went in to have some ice cream and went over to the counter to ask if we could take a seat - had been dismissed and was rudely told ohhh mmmm hmmm when on google it says it doesn't close till 1am they wanted everyone out by 11:30pm which is really false advertising. Will never come here again the manager seriously needs to re think the staff he has at this place utterly shocking and disgusting !!!

Rubbish. You'll be happier with a Mcdonald's Ice Cream. Don't buy the Cakes, they taste plastic. Yuk

Not the first time i have been here but every time I do come the experience gets worse and worse.saw a leaflet prompting to ask staff about membership details.he didn't have a clue and asked me what the membership was for! Lol Then another chap from behind said it was £30 a month! What an absolute joke.it should be that for the year. You have to come at least 11 times in a month to get your moneys worth for joining.there are only 4 weekends in a month.even if you came every sat and sun you still wouldn't get your moneys worth.who ever came up with that price is crazy.not sure how it compares with other soft play areas but it really isn't that great.was when it first opened but not anymore.staff were attentive.soft play area was well let and the ball toy think was working.dont think they fixed that for years. Plus points are the free wifi and the ice cream is good.bit over priced. Another verry annoying thing is when you see parents bring in 4/5 kids and not pay for them.they just pay for their tea or coffee and no one from the staff questions them yet here I am mugins who has paid for both of my kids. Wish I could say hand on heart I would never come here again but the reality is due to convenience I probably will.just hope they fix up. If your reading this afters (I seriously doubt it because you don't care) I would suggest bringing this place back in line with when it first opened.get the play area working properly.light it up.clean it. Make staff more attentive.

Used to regularly visit this place in West Houslow and regularly paid £20-30 pounds for three kids. this place has been opened for three years and used to be be a quality alternative to " creams " in Ealing and Southall. No longer! Please avoid like the plague! One son ordered a cola float and I watched the server open a can a of Pepsi into a small plastic cup pour half the froth away, which was half the small glass and then put in one scoop of ice cream. My other sone asked for two scoops of mint choc chip and was told to choose something else as they had run out. He chose one scoop of ice cream. We then went back to our table where I discovered that the cola float I had seen prepared had been given to my son and already finished. The bill came to £6.20! I asked to speak to the manager re guarding the lousy service and exhorbitant price and was told that he was not in by an Asian male who said his name was Malik. This man was then identified by another member of staff as being the Manager !!! . When I complained that I had just paid £3 for half a can of Pepsi and 1 vanilla scoop the waiter who made it originally, pointed out that It was actually £3.75!!! This place has obviously hit skid row and is only surviving on past memories please avoid like the plague. Not fair, not honest and far from fairly priced

Had some dinner earlier In a place that let me down so I had my eye on 'afters' for a while, lovely waffle with milk chocolate and cream tasted very fresh. The gentlemen let me know it will take 10 minutes but came quicker as it wasn't busy! Will be back soon!

Terrible, waited half an hour, eventually got my money and left without eating. Customer services is so bad.

Service is extremely slow!!! Took over 30 mins for just TWO desserts, even though we were told that it would only take 6 mins. This has happened to me on two different occasions!!!! Management needs to be changed or they need more people to serve... or better yet get better and trained staff!! - not a happy customer at all

Worst dessert restaurant me and friends have ever experienced. Walked into the restaurant and sat down for around 40mins waiting for someone to approach us. Eventually had to get up and ask for menu's ourselves. We were then informed that there were no more menu's available. Instead they provided us with one very dirty, crusty menu that looked like it hadn't been wiped in 3 years. We then eventually started to order our desserts having to find out that was hardly any toppings available which lead to our waffles being very basic. Waiting for the food now, they approach us telling us that there were no plates or napkins available so we were forced to eat in take away boxes on restaurant tables.Customer service needs to change as I can see the restaurant closing down very soon.Thank you, you will never see me reviewing this restaurant again as there will not be a next time.

Took our kids for a treat to afters and will definitely not be returning as totally and unbelievably disappointed by the staff after asking for some tap water the staff refused saying they cannot provide water from the tap! How can they not provided water from the tap when we have paid for our kids to play and eat! When we placed our order they could not remember what we had ordered and had to be reminded the staff were too busy playing games with each other.

Got served quickly. The toilets need improving. Men's door handle broken. Ladies toilet seat broken, dirty and no toilet paper. When the deserts arrived they were on the whole pretty good.

Went to this place with family after dinner on a Saturday, firstly seemed empty, and the floors were sticky and smelly, once I got my ice cream served after eating two spoons found a long piece of hair covered in ice cream, bits of sprinkles on it. I will never step back in this place again. Disgusting, with no customer service at all.

It looks a nice place - plenty of choice and soft play area. But we couldn't get served. There were only 3 tables occupied, and 3 staff working. But we waited half an hour and no one took our order. We told them we were waiting but it made no difference. So we have up and left. This place is a waste of time.

I have visited this place thrice and had a decent experience. However my last visit changed because of the staffs behaviour. They were totally lacking in customer service and paid no attention to customers. The gents were laughing and playing around and didn't care about the customers.

Afters was very good.The "teddybear ice cream"I had was excellent.You have to pay for the kids to go in the play area.I would definitely come here again.

Went in with family. Lovely spacious tables and a good varied menu too.Desserts came and were fab! Kids had a wonderful play area too, lots of jumpy, softy and slidey things to build up a sweat.Real shame about the music and videos being shown, really inappropriate for children to be seeing.

It's the third year when we are visiting this ice cream parlour in the summer time. We enjoy their desserts, however there are still some downs to check and resolve for the management.This place would be amazing if (However I do believe that it's location is not the best) but it was closer to our home.1.First of all, do some improvements regarding the staff.We do enjoy everything u sell, but I've got the feeling that they're a bit rude or unhelpful whenever we go there. Teach them to be friendly with customers! Afterwards by being friendly with customers is one of the best way to enhance your profits!2. Do ensure that toilets are cleaned at all times. Is not fair for a ordinary day at 16:00 to go in the toilet and see dirt, disgusting smell or full rabish bins.Especially when is not busy in the shop.Teach the staff to check toilets always.If people go for an ice-cream,but before they go to the loo ,they might lose their ice-cream appetite and don't order anything if there is an unpleasant smell on toilets.3. Allow card payments :) Afterwards there is nothing I could add,we enjoy the desserts and ice-creams.

Now I know we are currently in the month of fasting but there was really no excuse for the unhelpful and unfriendly service we got when we went to this ice cream parlour for the first time last night!The menus on the wall are not easy to follow and staff were not willing to explain either. What we ordered arrived in dribs and drabs with the kids ice creams (which were the smallest and simplest ones) coming last. My chocolate bar shake was delicious and there was a good choice of different chocolate bars for these. £3 per child for the play frame was also ridiculous given how small it was. Even more ridiculous when they say adults go free! As if any adult would want to go into a children's play frame lol. They really should make a minimum spend of say £5 per child and then play for free or something. In short, too expensive for what it is and won't be returning.

Afters in Hounslow is a great rival to the other premier Gelato brand Creams. The main difference between the two is that Afters unlike Creams feels a lot more friendly in terms of the staff and the service provided. Excellent, a must visit dessert chain.

Their desserts are absolutely fab. Floods was the closest to it tasting like back home.Great kids playing area too, but overpriced.

What does one do after a good meal is have a delicious dessert. Located a few minutes walk from the Houslow West underground station, this ice cream parlour is amazing. If offers a wide choice of ice creams to choose from. A special mention to the kulfi which is a must try.

We went on a Saturday evening and it was quiet, I did like the brightness (compared to Creams’ darkness) and it was clean without any bad odour smell - as per other postings. The have an indoor play-centre for £3.99 per child. Their selection of ice creams and menu is not as extensive as Creams’ but they do have a lot of options to choose from. I selected ice cream and the other-half wanted a crepe; it took them five minutes to let us know that crepes were not available and she picked the same option with Belgian waffle – not a good start. We did not have to wait much longer for desserts, which we enjoyed and the other-half could not finish her dessert.

Service is SLOWDesserts are unsatisfactory. Ice creams are full of fake flavours and lots of colours.The place smelt of toilet gutters that are blocked. You cannot go here for a nice, quite dessert as the kids are very noisy in the play area.Table was also not clean.I won't be going back.

I went their 2 days ago with my friend I really like this place as its big and clean friendly staff big playing area fur kids and amazing deserts if you like faloda you will love this place I recommend this place go and enjoy

As soon as I arrived the smell was awful, I sat down with 2 of my friends where I waited 20 minutes before I got up and asked when someone will serve, in which he replied rudely saying sit down and someone will come. I heard him giggle to his staff sayin as a phychastic way when will you serve. I mean the other 2 girls were not doing anything except talking and eating behind the counter which I thought was so professional. the gentleman was rude and lacked any customer service...stay away better going elsewhere as you will be disappointed.

Sorry Afters for the review but feel you really need to know that using a dirty mop makes the entire place have an awful stench. We arrived last night and held our noses until we got climatised to a smell on par with a bad toilet. The place wreaked and it's a big place! No enthusiasm by the staff, no one came to take our order after thirty minutes of sitting there. If placing your order is meant to be at the counter we weren't informed. Desserts tasted cheap compared to a similar priced desert place such as Creams. Giving it a two rating as the staff bought over a free milkshake as they had produced extra. We didn't have it but it was a 'sweet' thought.

Ordered waiting 30 mins still no desserts it seems customer service is a AFTER thought would not recommend at all if you want a desserts

The ice cream is nice, I didn't try the cakes. The place is very nice I love the pink colour and is very clean.

We took a selection of their cakes for a family meal. We tried a large variety to cover everyone's taste and to get a view of what they serve. All in all, everyone found the cakes to be poor. The sponge, filling and top all left a great deal to be desired. Given the cost, there are far better alternatives for dessert.We say laters to afters!

Located in the middle of Hounslow aka Southall, this place should be part of your overall "Southall experience". As you will also find in the Middle East, places where alcohol is not acceptable, the dessert is overwhelming. So while you will not find so many places around here that serve beer, "everything else" is abundant. The place is not for your overall shape but good for your soul: All about ice-cream, waffles, chocolate. Freshly served and the whole place is dedicated to desserts (and usually quite busy). I could not imagine that this works but Afters proves it! Get your own experience there.P.S. Other "Afters" available, this is the one in Hounslow.
