Went for afternoon tea. My daughter doesn’t drink tea or coffee so we asked for hot chocolate but they would not do a hot chocolate unless I paid for it but they had hot chocolate so why not just let that be part of the afternoon tea instead of the extra cost. Food was nice.

We booked an afternoon tea but when we got there, they knew nothing about the booking. However a lovely gentleman called Christos made us feel very welcomed, offered us a complimentary drink for our inconvenience and arranged the tea. He turned what could have been a disaster into a lovely occasion. Christos is an asset to your hotel.

My husband and I pay a weekly visit to a restaurant for lunch or afternoon tea and decided to pay Orida a visit for afternoon tea. Food was good as was the service which was very prompt. However, my husband was put out on arrival to find that we would be charged for parking which rather took the shine off our tea. Parking is not expensive but there are plenty of venues locally where parking is free and purely for that reason my husband does not want to return to Orida. Surely if guests are eating in the restaurant parking should be free. Having spoken to friends they agree so perhaps management should consider this.

I bought the afternoon tea from Groupon and I took my nan to it for her 70th birthday with my mum and I was hoping that it would all be perfect. I asked for an add on for my mum aswell and I would pay extra. However I was extremely annoyed and mortified at the price that was said as it was £20 for one person when it was not worth it !! We sat down and tea was brought to us and it was not a very nice tea. Then the food was brought over and firstly we was not asked if we had any allergy’s even though there was nuts on one of the cakes. The sandwiches were dry and very basic. Some of the cakes were stale but most of them were ok. The scones were the best bit however they were a bit small. To sum it up I would never return to this afternoon tea not because of the food but because I don’t think the price is justified for what we got.The people that served us were very friendly though and kind.

The worst afternoon tea I have ever had. Arrived to find no table set for us plus also we were put in the entrance lounge China not at all delicate as should be for a afternoon tea. When the tea arrived they had still not completed setting up with plates and cutlery. Sandwiches were very poor made with margarine and cheap sliced bread Cheese and pickle more pickle than cheese, Ham poor quality, Egg no cress Tuna We asked if we could change the Tuna and was told they would have to charge extra what a JOKE Dont waste your money

Please 🙏 don’t make this a habit. The breakfast was very disappointing. Tomato rock hard and hardly cooked, as was the fatty, again hardly cooked bacon. Not your best for sure.

Absolutely appalling. Waited over an hour for food that never arrived went to the shop. Staff in the shop couldn't care less and then laughed at me as I left the shop. Quite honestly if I could leave less than zero stars I would and will never be ordering from them again. Terrible service and staff!!!!!!

This is mine and my partners go to takeaway shop! The food is delicious with great portions sizes. Our deliveries always come earlier than the expected time for delivery! We also always ask for an extra pot of burger sauce and we offer to pay for it but we have got it free every time. Wouldn’t go anywhere else for a chippy tea!!
