Papa John's Pizza in Maidstone

Very delicious pizza. 🍕. Staff very friendly and cooperative. I have visited this branch several times and It one of my favourite 🤩 highly recommended to everyone. Shop very clean

I have recently had the pleasure of trying papa johns pizza and it was a delightful experience. The quality and taste of the pizza were top-notch, with fresh ingredients and a perfectly balanced sauce. The addition of their signature garlic sauce elevated the entire meal, making it a true delight for pizza lovers​ .What impressed me the most was the consistency in their service and the warmth of the staff. The pizza arrived hot and promptly, maintaining its freshness throughout. I highly recommend Papa John's for anyone . Give it a try—you won't be disappointed!

One star being generous. Absolutely rubbish service. Received the pizza, family of 5 had a slice each, and on the first bite we all noticed a foul smell and did not eat the rest of the pizza. Called papa johns straight away, having spoken to Jess who insisted that he cannot do anything (as we have had more than 2 slices) and call head office. It doesn’t make sense on how we should have just had 2 slices before offering it to others. Appalling service when we had expected to have pizza for dinner.

Great food, service and guy who served me a few times is always happy to help and cheery.

Instead of delivering to the indicated address, they call the contact number even though there is no driver. After contacting the facility and explaining that there was a man waiting at the given address, there was still no driver and the number of the pizzeria was not answering the phone, so the £30 was probably gone.

Who on Earth decided on a butternut squash pizza base?? Thought I would try it but chucked them whole thing in the bin as it was disgusting!

The food is decent (not the best Papa Johns by any stretch) but the delivery times are ridiculous. They always take at least an hour to deliver and sometimes the sides look like they've been knocked around like the other reviewers said. The local Dominoes takes between 20-30 min to deliver and it's much further away.

Awful experience, cold pizza my sides look like they were thrown against a wall. Really doughy and no cheese on the pizza. Utterly disgusting after previously ordering from the other Maidstone store and it has always been great.

Cold not cooked pizza!!!! Wish I had read the reviews here before I ordered. Worst thing guys is I've reported it and they couldn't give a fu£k avoid like the plaughe

The food was cold I had to ring the shop 3 time before they actually delivered my food had to wait and hour for my food and the price I pay was not worth it!

Took over an hour to arrive. Naturally, it was stone dead cold and all rubbery like it had been Cooked hours ago. Toppings were so light I might have well ordered cheese and tomato. Didn't get the sauce pots we ordered either. Total rubbish.

I placed an order online for collection at 6pm . I recieved a call at 3:30pm saying my order was ready to collect. This was not what I had completed on the website. The colleague then argued with me that I couldn't have possibly placed the order for later as nothing had come through their end with that request. I then explained that I had placed it for later as the only way to request to collect at a later time means a drop down time list appears on the website. Which I selected the collection time from. This doesn't appear if you request to collect asap. I was then told again that I must have been wrong. I was told that my order was on hold until my original requested time of 6pm. My husband collected the pizzas at 6pm. Once we got them home and looked at the items, we quickly realised that they had been sat for hours and reheated. My husband called the branch and explained our disatisfaction. We were then challenged again and told we were wrong again with our order time. I then spoke to Jes who also told me I hadnt placed the order for collection later. I explained that the pizzas were inedible, dry and disgusting. I was dissatisfied that I had basically been called a liar on more than on occasion and was pretty disgusted that even though all I was asking was for a fresh pizza I was told no.

We ordered an All the Meats XL pizza. It was delivered very quickly, about 15 minutes or so after ordering. The pizza was hot and very tasty.

Awful. Delivery took and hour and a half. Turned up cold. Attitude of staff was clear that they just didn’t care. Even the manger was rude.

The food was hot, well presented and delicious.

I ordered a medium ‘The Works’ with extra garlic sauce. The pizza was delivered much earlier than expected and was both hot and delicious. Would always recommend Papa Johns👍🏻

Ordered our food and the driver called asking what our address was she was at the wrong address, they called me back saying I have to come and collect our order as it was now cold. I asked for a refund and jezza ( the manger ) said no refund he wasn’t help and he’s attitude STUNK will never order from here again

Ordered at 6.58pm. Order time 7.45pm Turned up at 9.10pm Had to call the restaurant told it was a internet issue, but they then read my order out to me?? Won’t be using papa johns again unfortunately as really enjoy the food.

Wrong order delivered.wrong ice cream. Phoned up to talk to the manager and basically he called me a liar. So I took the pizza back to him and asked for a refund. Was refused. Dont order from there if you want any customer service.

Terrible customer service. We received a leaflet in the post (received after lockdown) with offers even though other pizza chains are closer we said we'd go for the offer when we called they said the offer was "online only" when we said it wasn't online they then changed it too "it's collections only" which isn't anywhere on the offers sheet. As there is a vulnerable person in the house we are not able to collect. Story ends with us going to one of the closer chains.

Absolutely disgusting behaviour from the manager as customer service was ridiculous when complained two of pizzas was too doughy n didn't taste cooked was told just to complain online there was nothing he could do as was he just kept explaining it was deep pan and that's how it is!!! If u want a bad customer service these are the ones to call And does not even deserve one star

Our order took over 1 hour an 10 mins. Obviously after that amount of time our 2 pizzas, buffalo wings, jalapeno peppers, and chocolate scrolls where stone cold and rubbery. After talking to the manager on the phone he offered a 50% discount on a large pizza but nothing on the deal we always use so had no benifit to us. Also offered no apology! Absolute shambles of a branch and a complete waste of £33!

Had half & half with my hubby, his side should of had bbq sauce, but didnt & to be honest the pizza had no taste. Bland!! 1st time at papa johns Maidstone & prob the last

Wedges undercooked, bbq sauce tasted sour, pizza was overall awful. The only thing that was good was the chicken poppers. Wont order again, much better pizza takeaways around.

Having previously lived near a different Papa John's branch I was very happy when the Maidstone one opened. Since it has I have never been disappointed and always found the food well cooked and extremely tasty. Delivery is always ahead of the estimate and staff always friendly and courteous. I wouldn't order Pizza from anywhere else.

Pizzas were nice, definitely on the greasy side tho! Staff were not wearing hair nets or hats when I collected my order, even though I could see two of them were preparing food. It is expensive for what you get, but pizza usually is so its within an acceptable range

My partner loves pizza and usually uses Domino's, Pizza Hut or Pizza Express, but having heard good things about Papa John's, decided to try them. The dough was very thick, there wasn't much cheese, the topping was very sparse and it didn't taste nice at all. She was very disappointed and threw 3/4 of it away. We won't be returning.

Without question the food was fantastic, not to mention generous portions, PaPa John's is my favourite from now on!

I prefer Papa John's to other large-chain pizzas such as Domino's and Pizza Hut. The pizzas are good and the deliveries from this branch have always been correct and arrived warm.

Never had a bad experience, they also have an extensive vegan range, our favourite side order are the Marmite dough twists

Delicious pizza... Tastes amazing but very oily and unhealthy. I like how cheap it is in comparison to dominoes, for a medium pizza it so £8 and an xxl it is £10.

after a 50 minute wait time, the food was an additional 30 minutes late, with an item missing!!! the restaurant didn’t want to do anything about it when I rang, and claimed their driver had left half an hour ago when he told me in person he’d only left the shop 6 minutes ago when he dropped off the food! poor service and an even poorer response to my feedback, no refund at all offered by the restaurant, shall not be ordering ever again

the 2 boxes potato wedges was awful didn’t even eat them they was barely cooked and stone cold, the pizza had also been sat around for quite awhile as it was chewy and cold, the chicken wings were the only thing that was warmish. very disappointed won’t be ordering from here again

We have always been really happy with the food in the past .tonight it cost us nearly £35 for two pizzas.The large one had no real taste and the crust was soggy and luke warm .The medium one was fine in flavour but again soggy and nearly cold .we had 2 slices and threw the rest away .we have been put off re ordering for the future.Hungry and disappointed!

Sadly not good at all. Might be the promotion thing, might be something else. My usual favourite Chicken Club looked like something made by a 3 yr old doing it for the first time. Tasted awful, 3/4 went into the bin sadly.

Food arrived hot, plenty of topping. I asked for fresh tomato as an extra, it was fresh, not like it had been sitting in a container for ages. Will be using 'Papa John's' again.

Wow, I can't say I've ever eaten a more greasy, burnt around the edges pizza. Husband starving so ate more slices than allowed under the quality assured promise, hence we're stuck with it. Truly awful 'pizza. ☹

Brilliant! We ordered from them for the 3rd time and YES! Their pizza is amazing, lovely crust and the ingredients are in the right amount! I love the garlic sauce, always preffer to order with the half and half option so we can try more flavours! Delivery is prompt and fast. What more could you ask for? 😊 Very well done to all of you at Papa John's ! Highly reccomend and looking forward for our next order!
