Best pizzas around to be honest. Bad for my diet but I only had one a few days ago and had to order another.

Food was a little on the cold side.

Always a lovely kebab, it's our Saturday night treat. Lovely staff and great food.

Had Donner kebab and it wasn’t cooked right. We ordered 3 portions and it was uncooked. I had to re fry it on a pan at home. 6 of us ate and all 6 of us had stomach aches and was sick. Very disappointing. Expensive too.

First time I used this place and the last. Ordered at 7pm, told it would be 50 mins. Turned up at 8:25. Error on order, food cold.

Chicken and donor kebab really nice. Very fast delivery (20minutes) and the delivery driver was nice too. Thanks.

Ordered from them at 6:50 pm as still no delivery at 9:00 pm , phone called made and the lady said we are just going to start cooking it !!! 9:20 pm food canceled told them not to bother as too late to eat. No apologies what’s so ever and even said it’s nearly ready 😂. Also said take it up with just eat …. Rude , slow and no customer service skills I run a business and would have apologised and gave a refund etc … Lost a good customer and a social media inspired person good luck 🤞

Best kebab I have ever had. Not cheap but you got a mountain of food and the hot chili sauce was sublime. 5* will not buy my kebabs from anywhere else now!

Took 2 hours to deliver, far too late to eat when it arrived, I refused delivery and lost my money!

It's a shame that I'm having to edit my previous good review of this place. The owner / usual guy who delivers our food is an absolute gem of a person. Ordering today, they got my order wrong. When I called up to get it sorted, the guy who answered hung up on me before I knew what was going on. They did replace the burger after I called them back again, not that I even considered to eat it because of my own personal concerns about being a moany customer. The lady who came back for the delivery was very polite, however asked for the original burger back which I'm sure she was asked to do from the restaurant. This is a big no from me, it doesn't benefit the restaurant unless they want to reuse the meat for some obscure reason - I however obliged. If you want to keep customers, when you mess up the order, just let them keep the wrong order. Doing that is only going to help keep the customer. The deliver lady said the guy we usually deal with is on holiday in his homeland and I hope he reads this as we were a regular customer. We won't be ordering from here again, as this is the second time now we have had issues. The first time was just a problem with dry almost freezer burned buns.

Arrived early, kabab tasted good, not greasy like some I've had, driver was very polite.

Only come here as the place I normally go to was closed. What a waste of money. Burger tasted like dog meat and cheesy chips were awful. Never again.

Don't put a veggie kebab on the menu if you're not willing to grill some veggies like other takeaways in the area do for a similar price. Was literally just cold cheese lettuce and pitta. £6. Incredibly disappointed. Will not go back.

Excellent kebabs cannot fault. Plenty of chicken and loads of salad. We loved the red cabbage and chilli sauce. Even arrived in half an hour. Keep it up Acropolis.

Ordered a delivery after work I felt tired and fancied a pizza. The pizza tasted like it was a frozen one from lidl. It was burnt and cold as well by the time I got it. Might as well just bought some frozen Iceland pizza instead at least then it wouldn't have been burnt.

Lamb mostly very tough/uneatable. Green chilli peppers very salty. Certainly NOT the best in Melksham!!

Definitely our go to late evening eatery. Everything very fresh and the team behind the counter are an amazing bunch of people. Kebabs, burgers, pizza and chips.. Why go anywhere else?

Honestly…….the worst kebab I’ve ever had! Meat was very pale, almost white Tasteless and not very warm.

Sorry guys.... You've lost our custom..... Hour and a half wait..... Wrong order (to my pocket!) and the apparently lamb (it's not lamb!) is stone cold. I'm. Actually pretty angry for. Wasting money on you! Go to chicken hut.

Best cheeseburger in Melksham. Hands down. Been here many times after a few drinks. Always loved it. Staff are delightful. Food is genuinely to die for. Have also been there a few times while sober. Would recommend the cheeseburger. They also operate a home delivery service that I have used a few times, always fast delivery and food is nearly the same as if you are in the takeaway. One of the very best takeaways in Melksham.

Ordered at 6.30, told be an hour 10 mins. Had to phone at one hour 30 mins to see where food was to be told was just being cooked. Food arrived 2 hours after ordering, to find the chicken kebab was cold. So disappointed

Ordered a chicken Tikka pizza for delivery when it arrived it was plain chicken...very bland ! I rang the shop and all they said was we took over 9 months ago and haven't changed whats advertised on their website. They don't do chicken Tikka so they sent plain chicken and didn't even try to tell me before hand. Very disappointed !

We had a pizza and cheesy garlic bread. Good value for money as it was enough for both of us and was a fairly cheap dinner. Would recommend for a nice local pizza!

I have never had any issues with this place until tonight. We phoned and placed an order like usual. Then they called again to confirm the address which was also normal. However they called a third time and started saying we were pulling a prank on them which we weren't as my family has lived at this address for 40 years so the address was correct and right. My step dad then called to find out what the issue was and the man on the phone then denied calling us and began swearing at him. My step dad did nothing provoking so he had no need to start swearing at all and I'm not really sure why they denied calling us bad cause it wasn't a bad thing any way, he could have just explained that his system wasn't registering the address and been polite about it.

Staff are always really friendly, orders are always correct. All freshly cooked and hot! Thank you guys, ordered from here for years!

Went here for the first time tonight , following the reviews, well i must have caught them on an off-night. I had a dodner kabab , individualy all the components were fine, the meat , the bread, the salad, but the chili sauce seriuosly let the whole dish down , it was made with way too mucg tomato ketchup and i think sugar, it had no taste what so ever and even the meat was way under temp. certainaly way under the 63 degrees it should be served at. so all in all a dissapointment, because it was my first time here, Its unlikely i will go back, this is how not win customers and keep them coming back

The two pizzas from here were absolutely vile - bases tasted uncooked and was completely bland no ingredients or toppings had any flavour and tasted completely undercooked! On phoning the restaurant about this the manager Sen (apparently) was absolutely vile & although he offered replacements (which we refused) declined to give a refund. We then contacted just eat who agreed we were entitled to a refund they rang the restaurant themselves who again declined my refund. I would completely boycott this restaurant unless you want unsatisfactory tasteless food & service. Manager would not even collect the uneaten items which we were offering for him to see how appalling it was.

Two cold kebabs and red hot chips which was The only thing consumed! Asked for a refund offered a replacement with another 30min wait. Declined and had to spend 14 mins on the phone to just eat to get a refund! Never again!

Advertised as a kebab in a naan bread. Reality is a kebab in a wrap, Mis described and disappointed. Also collection time was changed after ordering and selecting collection time, might as well have gone for delivery as went home to come back out again due to the change in timings.

Asked for thin base got thick. Not cooked enough :(

Three quarters of the food was good, but the chicken wrap was overfilled to the point where I couldn’t pick it up and I had to eat it with a knife and fork. It was also extremely greasy.

Good never turned up and when I tried to call I was ignored not happy won’t be returning again

FOOD POISONING!! ate from here afew times was fine, but last night ordered 2 kebabs and got food poisoning from this place!! I know it’s this food that gave us it because it’s all we ate all day!! Rung up expecting a refund Atleast for our food got nothing but rude employees down the phone no sorry no refund nothing.... rude horrible place !!

The whole meal was absolutely soaked in grease so much so the paper it was wrapped in kept falling apart when I tried to open it. chicken was so over cooked it was rock hard. A really realky bad meal and a waste if £7. Never ever buying anything from here again

Visited early in the evening on a friday night. It was busy but our order was quick. We ordered cheesy chips and a dinner and chips. Great value for money. Food was hot and as ordered.

below average, salad was all cabbage and onion one piece of tomato and cucumber, no option for wrap just soggy horrible pitta. chips are awe full like cheap oven chips so practically paid 14£ for cheeseburger only thing that was edible

Very late ordered 7.30 arrived 9pm and everything cold. Chicken over cooked and tough and have had bad tummy all night! The kebabs were also as a wrap not in a pitta. Won’t be returning

I popped in on a Monday evening and ordered a meal deal (meal deal 1). The meal deals are great value for money. We had a chicken kebab fries extra salad and a burger us two cans of drink. It came to about £13. Our food was cooked to order and lovely and hot. I find it best to go in and order rather than have it delivered as the food is always hotter.

Food good and tasty. On balance I'd use them again, but just over 30 minutes late, over estimate. Ordered 1845, received 2015 (delivery due 1940). Would have been nice to know.

Early but did not follow the instructions left and put me in a hard position. You have left me in a position where I have my life is as stocks. thankyou for not listening to my instructions and leaving me homeless

had to wait over an hour for food to be delivered and when it arrived it was horrid, kababs were full of grease to the point the pitta bread was soggy and even the bag it came in was full of grease, meat wasn’t even cooked, it had no colour to it at all looked like it had been cut directly from a cold Kabab spit, when it finally arrived it was all stone cold, kababs and onion rings

Great kebabs shame it was lukewarm when it arrived. It took 2 hours from ordering to arrive. Not good enough. This is the 3rd time its taken longer than an hour and a half. Will be trying out other places in the area which is a shame as i love their kebabs.

Chicken burger is an actual chicken breast grilled/fried, not premade or deep fried! Shame more places don't do this!!! Pizzas are nice too.

Paid for extra toppings on pizza which were not on there. Food was cold. It was a Saturday night but from a business running for as long as this one I expected a little better.

I wouldn’t mind waiting an hour if the food turned up hot but it was all stone cold! requested that the salad etc was kept separate from the kebab otherwise it’s gone cold by the time it arrives . however this was only done for one order, not that it made any difference as EVERYTHING (kebabs,chips,onion rings and garlic mushrooms) was stone cold. I am now sat waiting for the oven to heat up so I can actually eat what was ordered! so disappointed as it’s normally so good from here

The food was lukewarm, pizza tomato base was so spicy like they had used chilli sauce and we were missing one of the items. Called them to tell them and then waited another 30 minutes for the item to arrive, only to realise it probably wasn’t ever arriving. We had to eat almost cold food without the missing item.

By far the worse food I have very had from a takeaway, ever. I love a kebab and have done all my life, but this was the most sorry excuse for a donner I have ever seen. Besides the fact that all of the food, including the children’s chicken and chips and pizza was stone cold, the donner meat was the most grey and pathetic I have ever seen. It was not browned off on the skewer or finished on a grill. Again, I will also stress just how cold the food was. It all needed reheating immediately. I will never eat from here ever again. I urge you not to waste your money, time or appetite and save yourself the disappointment. Maybe acropolis could learn to cook good food, it’s really not that hard to make a decent Kebab if you invest in good ingredients to begin with and for £8 for a large donner, that is what I expect. The chilli sauce was a travesty too. To be fair, the salad was pretty good, fresh and crunchy, but, you know, the ‘food’ was TERRIBLE.

Food was stone cold, did wait well over an hour so no wonder. After having to reheat in the oven everything apart from the chips tasted great.

bit of a late delivery but didn’t become an Ethiopian , nice to actually get a decent takeaway down south for once as most places down here wouldn’t last 5 minutes in Newcastle, will go again if I’m down here

Not too expensive, generous portion sizes. Just an all around great takeaway
