Ordered a special kebab, the pitta bread was dry, there was no shish meat in my order and the lamb was tough

food was great as always but delivery driver very rude. Told me to order earlier in future. if they didn't want to accept the order the could have rejected it.

The food arrived cold so had to warm it up. Which is not what you want for a treat. The kebab was dry and curled up looked awful. The chicken was dry. Requesting a refund!

Really disappointed this is my favour take away. This is my go to take away but after them cancelling my order as they wouldn’t send to where I was we are still waiting on a refund after a week as they haven’t even put the refund through yet with the boss on holiday. Very disappointed.!

Not an issue as traffic bad in york but ordered special garlic brwad, no garlic at all more like a pizza very disappointed

what a horrible delivery man... 2nd time he's delivered.. first time he shouted from the bottom of the stairs.. im leaving it here! so I had to come down for it... ask your other delivery guys and i always meet them half way and tip.. this time I buzzed him in and he never came thru the communal door... I have no way of letting him in unless he buzzes again.. so I had to go down to get it from a very angry man who really doesn't want to deliver to customers

Cheap cheese on garlic bread, cheap sauces. Kebab meat too dry and didn’t taste great. Chicken strips were good though, wouldn’t order again.

Really nice pizza plenty cheese. I had cken sweetcorn, peppers, Onion. 🧅 🍄‍🟫 mushrroom. It was ☺️ good. Value for money and good service. I am a fussy eater so pleasantly surprised 😳

Items missing from order on first occasion, very rude woman on phone when I called to inform, missing items delivered over an hour later. Meal ruined. Gave them a second chance, waited 45 minutes to find they cancelled the order after taking payment. By the time I found out, it was pointless ordering food from elsewhere. Won’t order from here again, useless.

delivery driver had attitude, presses buzzer to my flat, refuses to deliver to my flat (first floor) and said would leave food outside. Then refused to take £1.80 in coins so it was £5 change and said didn't have enough coins and he'd give it on next order. The food was OK but service is shocking.

Big kebab box is really big, defo great value, salad is fresh and meet was warm and tasty. The cheesy chips with gravy were great as well, I very appreciate that the gravy came extra, so that the chips do not arrive mega soggy. Will defo order from here again.

Ordered a chicken fillet burger and when it came it was cheap process chicken burger was really hard and inedible wasn't at all nice so definitely not ordering anything from here again I wouldn't feed my dog on this food that's how disgusting it is

Went in just before they were about to close up and were in the process of cleaning everything, yet they were more than happy to turn everything back on to do us food. The staff were so extremely friendly and had a lovely conversation with us. This place doesn't have great reviews but honestly don't listen to them the food was great and I don't like much so that says something and I would definitely recommend. Thank you all!

was okay but turned up very early and order was wrong, both triple burger and cheese was wrong. somehow ended up with a chicken fillet and bacon in them and both parmesan's was wrong asked for kiev and ended up with cheese n tomato, and ended up with a pizza I didn't order. definitely contemplating on returning as a customer I get mistakes happen but how do you get a triple cheese burger wrong with chicken n bacon?

Rang me to say they had been knocking at my door I was walking back from work (delivery time was 45 mins away from delivering when the phoned they said they can deliver it later the driver was very rude and handed me the food without listening or talking to me

We have been using Acomb Kebab House for many many years, almost never had a problem. Tonight we ordered through their own website (as we usually do) and it gives you 5% off which is always helpful! But tonight we made a larger than usual order and a pop up appeared to say we were eligible for a free garlic bread as our order was over £25, again great I don’t need to order an extra garlic bread now but it took the 5% discount off so it was essentially costing us £1.50 for the garlic bread, again not an issue. Fast forward to the delivery and the garlic bread was missing from the order. Called the restaurant and was told ‘no I’m not sending you that for free, you ordered a meal deal’ I explained that the website had a pop up to say we were eligible for it and that we’d lost the 5% discount due to getting the free garlic bread instead. I was told this wasn’t possible and that it states on their website that I wouldn’t have received it but it absolutely does not and the GB is also included on my order confirmation. It’s clearly their website that need updating if this is the case as it’s false advertising, but I was just told no over and over. The manager was very rude and refused to send out the food. I wouldn’t usually be too bothered but we purposely didn’t order an extra garlic bread because the order confirmed we were getting one so now we’re down on food and paid extra for our order. It’s annoying because the food is usually quick and tasty but after the way I was spoken to and after reading the reviews they clearly don’t value their customers or their loyalty. Another customer lost due to horrible customer service.

The food wasn’t the best, the wraps were okay but was really greasy and tiniest amount of sauce on one of them. The pizza chips were awful and was wasted unfortunately due to them being cold/over done burnt on the top. For £12 they was shocking. Garlic bread was cold yet it was free so can’t complain at that. Cheesy chips was also cold. Just wasn’t good as a whole. The order was on time great but for £32 worth of food it was awful,only managed to eat around half of one wrap and a few bites of ot

Pizza & kebab meat were piping hot. Sadly you forgot my garlic sauce & the pizza didn’t taste of anything! Disappointing as we order from you a lot. And your delivery driver could do with a customer service course a hello, good evening wouldn’t go amiss. Instead of the food shoved at me and a grunt.
