Abigail's Cafe in Havering

Popped into this working man’s café for a spot of pre football breakfast. Food was good, service was good, and price was reasonable too. To be honest the venue is nothing fancy, but the price reflects that, so no complaints.

Popped in here for lunch on Valentine's Day as a treat and to save cooking. As always the fish and chips (we both had cod) were both delicious and plentiful. My husband chose to have peas with his while I had a very pleasing and colourful salad. Prices are very reasonable, cheaper than the fish and chip shops and you don't have to do the washing up. The menu is varied with roasts, home-made pies, chili and pastas as well as all-day breakfasts and sandwiches and paninis. A good choice for everyone.

Very welcoming staff and great 'All Day' breakfasts. In addition set lunches are also very good value.

Just been to this cafe, food was ok but the staff, so miserable, threw our drink down on the table. No hello when walked in and no thank you as we paid and left.

Wow..I was impressed..very clean...food was perfect...and wow..they do not skimp on portions..I'm a big eater..to say the least ...but after I'd had breakfast here..I'm didn't eat for 3 days after..top cafe really....they should be proud

To my dismay my barbers was late opening, i was parked right outside this venue so decided to grab some breakfast. The first thing that struck me was how clean the place was, the floor and table surfaces were spotless, quite pleased with that fact i ordered a simple scrambled eggs on toast and a coffee. Within three mins a large plate of perfectly cooked food hit my table with the coffee, the coffee being at volcanic heat levels was the only downside of the whole meal. Staff were polite and business like and clearly "on the ball" with service. Good venue.....

Not been for a while but the food is as good as ever. Had cod and chips all freshly cooked with salad which was just as fresh. As we were early for lunch on a Friday, it wasn't too busy but at other times you might be pushed to get a table as it is very popular for it's all-day breakfasts which are varied. Plenty of home-made options on the menu like steak pie or pudding and lasagne as well as roast dinners. Best of all the price is right.

I was working in the area and found the cafe by chance.A mate I was working with and I needed something hot to eat on a cold morning so we both ordered a bacon/and a bacon and egg sandwich,and a hot drink each.The sandwich was made with really fresh bread and and freshly cooked bacon and a piping hot cup of tea. The staff were very good from taking the order to serving the food ,and clearing away after.It is a popular cafe judging by the number of workers also having their breakfasts there. The prices are reasonable and would go there again if I'm in ever in the vicinity.

Only been here once but enjoyed what I seen. Staff were friendly, food was good and reasonable value, and you get waitress service. Having been to this and a few other higher rated cafes in Upminster I quite enjoyed here.

Oh dear, such a shame was a fantastic little cafe. Now under new owners, half the staff can't speak, the other half can't speak english. Rude, horrible staff, living off the previous owners reputation. Food greasy, cheap, nasty. MISERABLE

Came here with some friends looking for a bit of a hangover cure and this hit the spot! The food was great, better than expected and the choices and portions were perfect! Will be using this little cafe a lot more often!

Friendly staff, gave dog bowl of water, latte very nice, just moved to area and found this cafe very nice and clean.

Abigail's is a lovely little cafe with great, friendly staff and loads of choice for breakfast or lunch. The Set breakfasts they do (I usually have a Set 9) are big and hearty and always well cooked. Fantastic fare, especially for a Sunday morning after a heavy Saturday night.
