Abbey Deli Shrewsbury in Shropshire

Been there a couple of times now & won’t be going there again, customer service is rubbish, barely speak, unless they really have to , not at all pleasant or friendly unless they are gossiping amongst themselves, the wrap I bought on my final visit was limp, not much meat, was not wrapped up properly so fell into my, also over priced , not a patch on Jaqueline deli , Telford estate or Coleham, definitely learnt my lesson !!!!!

The Abbey Deli has new owners and have made impressive improvements to the menu and deco And reopening nov16th2020...( with the same staff) Sad to hear the last review that his meal was not to his standards . I have had opportunity prior to opening to test many fresh mendued items and it’s amazing variety’s and the fresh ground coffee with Breathtaking aromas,Also from a new supplier to the deli are amazing Welsh breads inc : /Rolls/baguettes)..Definatly worth a visit

Sad to pop by and hear of the loss of the two lovely working there that cheered up my days getting sandwiches. Today experience wasn't the norm. The staff didn't seem to know what they were doing at all...and my chicken baguette was hard and full of butter not chicken.i hope this improves over time thats for sure

Called in as was on a course near by and several colleagues had said how great the place was, and they werent wrong Please of things to choose from inlcuding meats, salad and sauces No combination is frowned appone

Hotel receptionist had recommended the Deli which is primarily a take-away establishment, however there is some seating inside and out. We were very pleasantly surprised at the selection of salads on offer, the quick, friendly and helpful service and how delicious our lunches were. So we would also highly recommend the Abbey Deli.

Busy little place with great lunch time menu. Had the tikka baguette and the baguette was super fresh and crispy. The filling was tasty and the salad was crisp and fresh. Great spot.

Great service, very friendly staff - came in for a toasted sandwich, which was generously filled especially for the price. I would recommend to anyone, great value for money, all of the staff were very friendly and pleasant atmosphere. I had a member of staff give me a taster of a Christmas drink which was a lovely gesture. Been twice already and will be definitely coming back

Good range of cheeses and meats although slightly more expensive than I expected. Fantastic variety of items so well worth a visit to discover new treats

Popped in for a coffee, and found that there is one table inside where one could relax and drink it, The service was pleasant and there seemed to be a good range of sandwiches and snack including some very tempting pasties.

Visited to grab some lunch to go. Didn't seem to have a sandwich option that was suitable from vegans so I asked if they could do a salad wrap. Staff kindly obliged, packed the wrap full of salad and didn't charge me over the odds for it. Very tasty, and staff were very friendly. Will go there again!

Regardless of the time of day, the quality of the food is excellent. Working locally means this is convenient for when everyone in the office fancies a naughty bacon sandwich for breakfast or one of the great selections of other sandwiches or baked potato at lunch. The portion sizes are excellent too and I am always satisfied. The service could be slightly better at busy times as I don't expect to have to repeat an order 4 times when it could be written down! Would have been a 5 star review otherwise. Other than that, no complaints so would recommend this place to anyone.

Went in for a bacon sandwich. Was ok food but the man serving me was just rude and not very friendly. Obviously having a bad day. Shame as food was ok but felt awkwardso wont be going again

Visit a couple of times each week. Food always fresh and served with a smile by very friendly staff. The only downside is there is only one table inside so can be disappointed if four at sat down already.

Cada sábado vamos y orden entre 10-15 baps. La comida es deliciosa cada vez que está sólo en muy raras ocasiones el orden de comida es malo. La comida está caliente y abundante. Lo único que podrían trabajar en es órdenes de teléfono, fax o correo electrónico los pedidos de los pedidos ya que tienes que llevar su pedido a ellos luego, volver más tarde.

sándwiches increíbles, enorme variedad de platos calientes y fríos desde hamburguesas hasta sopa. Cajas de ensaladas son geniales. El tamaño de las porciones son buenas. El personal es encantador y si quieres comer allí, hay una pequeña zona con asientos a usar. También tienen una...

Friendly service. Good range of freshly made lunch options. Good value for money compared to similar places in town. Worth a look.

Great range of rolls, burgers, soup, panini, jackets, salads and sandwiches. Friendly service whatever u want added or taken away from the food.

Really good deli sandwiches for a reasonable price and friendly service. We were on holiday and bought our lunches to take away every day from the Abbey Deli, it was so good.
