The best attentive staff, it’s like visiting old friends. Excellent food! I’m vegan and they prepared a special dish. Massive portions. I know they do takeaway but if always want to dine in as it’s not far off perfect!

Absolutely gutted that the chicken korma has changed! I’m not a huge curry fan and don’t like heat so a nice creamy korma has always been my go to for a takeaway but this time it was very dark in colour & definitely had a spiced taste to it. I questioned if it was even a korma! The garlic naan was very plain tasting too. Unfortunate as I used to like it here

Called in on a whim, missed last food orders at the pub. So glad we did. By far the best , freshly cooked Bangladesh food I have eaten. Great pleasure. Not the busiest but it was Monday night.

As regular visitors we have been using the takeaway service during the restrictions which was always superb. Now the restaurant is open Mo and the team are still serving excellent food with a professional service. Kitchen and dining area all cleaned inline with the government guidance. Highly recommended

As you all know im not one to complain but like Kim Kardashian, here comes my famous "but". We were booked in for 7pm and as always we arrived 15 minutes early. We noticed a queue outside of the restaurant so asked the boys in front what the issue was, they were waiting 30 minutes past their time. It was 19:35 when we finally got seated after they made up a new table for us, they had clearly overbooked.They eventually took our order at 20:30 after our second prompt. It took another 30 minutes for our starters to come and another 30 after for the mains. The kids and I were famished. Big John claims he had started seeing things, a mirage of sorts.We found it difficult to get the bill also so had to go to the bar to pay.Food was average with a decent menu.6/10 for the entire experience but just happy to be tucked up in my PJs, the kids will be missing out on their bedtime story because of the time we got back to our cottage.

We had an amazing evening here, the staff were so nice. The waiter was good with my grandson and knew just how to be with children, he certainly made us feel welcome.The food was excellent. We lived 35 yrs in Leicester so have eaten at some of the best Indian restaurants in the country ....this is up there with them!The ambience and decor are good.

Have been here a few times and has always been good but unfortunately this visit was let down by terrible service. Our table was pre booked and we were seated quickly and promptly presented with 9 popadums and a pickle tray which we didn't ask for, thought this was a bit cheeky so sent 5 of them back. A full 25 minutes later we had to ask for someone to take our order, 80 minutes after being seated we had to as were our food was and it finally arrived 100 minutes after we sat down. Nobody checked if food was ok (which it was) and we had to ask for the table to be cleared 15 minutes after finishing our meal, multiple waiters had walked past ignoring our table. After a further 10 minutes had to ask for the bill to find we had been charged for the popadums we had sent back. When paying the bill was finally asked if everything was alright, told them the food was ok but terrible service so they took £10 off the bill and gave us a free bottle of Cobra. Would like to think it was because they were busy on NYE but other parties were seated served and left whilst we were still waiting. In summary good food let down by appauling service.

Always a good welcome from Mo and the staff. Plenty of parking but would advise booking on a weekend night. Superb food especially the chicken shashlik and Saag. The chefs will prepare dishes not on the menu if you can't decide from the regular dishes on offer. Probably the best Indian/Bengali restaurant in the area.

We are regular diners & take away’ers ! Food is always tasty, and never a problem to have something made the way that you like it. Service is efficient, friendly and Mo has the ability of making you feel like you are the only table in the restaurant. Facilities are spotlessly clean.

We’ve being going here for years. Had some some good times and some not so good. Went in again last night with the family and had another wonderful meal. ( All made to suit our personal tastes ). Well Moe has surpassed himself with the light show in the smallest room in the house. So if you want a good meal and a laugh call in and have a look for yourself.

We have visited Aashas many times over the years and never had a bad meal. This time was important as we had relations from Australia and their friends who have been to many Indian restaurants worldwide. The restaurant is in Blyth village. Great atmosphere and decor and not filled with loud music. We had poppadoms and pickles. Then 2 chicken, 1 lamb, 1 prawn and 1 veggie meal. Nan breads and rice. Every item was hot, nicely served and perfectly cooked. The friends said it was up there with the best. Thank you to Mo and his staff for a memorable evening

A good meal with great company. The prerequisites for a very pleasant evening and that is exactly what we had on our visit here. First class food, first class service in a very comfortable environment.

Absolutely fantastic great staff spotlessly clean would definitely recommend for a great meal. Easily accessed if you have a wheelchair or pushchair. Comfortable seating area for you to enjoy your meal. Greeted by friendly staff which are happy to accommodate and always polite. Has its own parking area. Very spacious and not to crammed in amongst others making it very comfortable. Would definitely recommend the best Indian restaurant around this area wouldn’t go anywhere else

Very nice food with an extensive menu. Lots of vegetarian choices. Very nice decor & ambience with clean facilities. Lots of parking. One chap (very shiny shirt) loves rushing around with his hair on fire (doing a sterling job) whilst the other wander around slowly or not to be seen!!! This chap needs to either let the other guys actually do some work or get paid more and sack the others. The bill was unreadable so had to really guess what you had but having look at the prices later it was in fact spot on.

Went in last Thursday and was amazed by the lovely deco. Got popadoms and drinks straight away. The food was lovely as i ordered a chicken panshi special with rice and garlic nan. I will highly recommended this place to everyone as it is the best curry house in the area.

Went here on recommendation. Was surprisingly busy for midweek. Service was prompt but food lacked depth of flavour - much like one would expect from supermarket packaged meals. Didn`t taste like fresh ingredients were used and meat seemed to be the reconstituted type. Overall, quite uninspiring but the place seems popular judging by the numbers coming in. Only `beer` on offer is bottles of Cobra lager. Oh dear.

We visit on a regular basis and noticed that we had not put a review on. The service is always excellent the management cannot do enough for you and will always try to accommodate you off menu if you would like to try something a little different. The food is consistent and of high quality. Our friends all seem to really enjoy it. You need to go!!!

I love this place and have been a regular over many years.I have have lived in many places (including the curry mile in Manchester and the Middle East) and have tried many other places, but I always come back to Aasha for the curry I wish I could get elsewhere!There are many curries that I like and would recommend... it is NOT one of those places that I am scared to delve into the menu and try different dishes. The service and welcome from Mo and company has always been great and I’m already looking forward to my next visit... mmmmm what to have, what to have...

My brother and I ate here on a Friday night. It is a shame that the restaurant was so quiet. The menu was varied and our waiter knowledgeable. We shared a mixed starter that was a delight to the tastebuds. My wine was a very agreeable Pino Grigio. The main meals flavoursome and the garlic naan just as it should be. Unfortunately I don’t live locally or I would return frequently.

The oldies are not getting out as much but Mo and his team really spoil them when they do ! Gorgeous food .... ask for the fish curry when booking. All dishes presented well and tasted divine. We have been coming here for a long time and always our place to go for a celebration or just a quick tea. Service as usual superb. Thanks Mo and team.

We went for a family meal we greeted by a member of staff took us to the table.Ordered drink and popadoms which were crispy with a pickle tray and chicken tikka starter. then we ordered mushroom rice and chicken balti which were delicious we finished with freshly made coffee.It was a very nice experience well go again.

This resturant never fails to please. Tried a prawn starter tonight, absolutely amazing. The service, quality of food and value for money is excellent. We house red is worth a try, a very good drink for the price. Looking forward to our next visit.

We went on Sunday table of four walked in the place felt really warm and cosy we were taken to our table the drinks and papadoms arrived swiftly we ordered chicken tikka balti lamb pathia chef special sizzler and a tandoori king prawn as well as some pilau rice a couple of nans as well as some side dishes. The food was very very tasty. All in all a really good night out apart from one issue which had happened at the restaurant. There was a party table in the middle of the restaurant who were giving the staffs a torrid time as they were complaining at everything but we could clearly see that they were putting their own hair into the dishes to try and get a discount on their food. The hair was clearly blonde and it’s such a coincidence that the person dish so happen to be a blonde haired woman. Clearly if you are to go out for a meal you should at least come with enough money to pay for the food that you have and not try to claim discounts on something you did yourself. That family who so happen to be there the same night as us should be ashamed of themselves for ruining OUR night!

Hairs found in THREE MEALS. No apology. Head waiter argued with us that they don’t have this colour hair, etc instead of just accepting responsibility and apologising. He made a racist comment as we came in. Waiters were just on their phones all night. Extremely bad service

We returned for our 5th Christmas lunch which was outstanding, service is second to none.We dine here around 20 + times a year, the key here is the consistency of food quality and service, and a genuine interest in getting it right first time every time.I travel extensively in the UK and worldwide and without a doubt the best cuisine I have experienced, the second best I would say is the Balti restaurants on Lady Pool road in Birmingham.I would highly recommend travelling here to try for yourself.Look forward to more visits in 2018 and happy new year to all.

Went for our xmas party there was 8 of us. Booked the table for 8'o clock, when arriving table was ready. Very swift service with papadoms and drinks. Nice clean restaurant with a very nice ambience atmosphere. The staff were very attentive. We ordered 8 different dishes, which all tasted different, very tasty! Highly recommended for curry lovers. All in all a brilliant night and will be back in there soon.

We were a group out for dinner and who doesn’t like a curry?Had a variety of dishes, mine was lamb roghan josh. Not much meat in the dish and taste was slightly bland. Was expecting more spice. Perhaps I somehow forgot to ask how they differentiate between mild to strong? In any case the pashawri nan was also only so-so. Not sure if they are used to only catering to locals who don’t want their “Indian” served to exotic or I might just have been unlucky.In any case the service was on par and I guess I better go back later for another dinner, if not only to give them a second chance.

I've visited the Aasha restaurant in Blythe on a number of occasions whilst working in the area and each time it never fails to disappoint.The overall appearance of the restaurant is one of cleanliness and class, something which other Indian restaurants could learn something from.Service is excellent, friendly and fast. The food is simply divine. On my last visit I opted for the chicken shaslick which was the finest Indian cuisine I have ever tasted.Prices are more than reasonable and I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough.Simply lovely ;)

I’ve been here quite a few times and to be fair never had a bad meal, but the one this week was amazing... I got a ‘off the menu’ meal cooked exactly to my liking which was possibly the best curry I’ve eaten ( and I’ve eaten a lot of curries, a heck of a lot ) So, I’m looking forward to my next visit and hopefully I can get a repeat performance! Aasha is by far the best Indian restaurant in the area. Food is outstanding, great service and a good atmosphere. Staff are always very friendly, and would 100% recommend a visit. You will not regret it!

A fantastic night at this great in restaurant. They were able to accommodate a big party of guests and looked after us perfectly. The food was fantastic and everyone enjoyed their meals! Would thoroughly recommend for tasty food in a good atmosphere.

Always excellent standard. Service, food and the place are faultless. Consistently great food. Try the Chicken Tikka Saag Paneer or the Mango Delight if you prefer a creamier, milder dish. Staff are always attentive and friendly. Highly recommend.

I loved the food and the atmosphere i loved how they welcome you. I have ordered lamb sheesh with garlic naan i loved it and well try new thing every time.

I was on a long drive with my wife and we were starting to feel hungry... i looked up on trip advisor to see what was available nearby and this place came up. Walked in and was made welcomed by the member of staff who attended to us. Took me and my wife to our table and was seen to regarding drinks and popadoms. We ordered a chicken tikka ng with the decor and lighting affect this place had it was stunning. All in all it was worth the pit stop. I highly recommend this place and wish i was living local to this restaurant so i can visit time and time again it was that good. Definately 5 out of 5!!!

Food nice but I wouldn't go again. I settled up my tab before the rest of my group as I left early. Fine no problem. Then the rest of the group are charged more for 2 extra bottles of cobra which I never ordered. Nice that the charge was laid at the feet of a diner who was no longer there to defend themselves against transparent attempts to overcharge.Have since spoken with friends who have experienced this same problem in the past.

Me and my family visited last night and was not disappointed. We were attended to straight away and taken to our table. Quick service and the food was off the scale!! Priced were average but you're most definitely getting your moneys worth. Highly recommend to go and visit.

Unplanned visit last night (Saturday) and first visit for a while not sure why we left it so long but it wont be long before we are back !! I asked Mo to conjure up one of his off the menu specials and once agin he didn't disappoint, the dish he served me was a sizzler type on a cast iron skillet it was full of flavour with the right amount of spice I like which is Vindaloo strength it was absolutely superb I really could not fault it. Wifey had Lamb Balti which she said was also very good.I highly recommend a visit to this place, the service and food is first class and if you fancy something different then ask Mo and he will be than happy to oblige.

Me and my wife had not visited what used to be the Agra 3 for 18 months due to a change of management and a decline in standards. We decided to try again (based on rumours of the main man returning) and were amazed to see that the restaurant had changed name and the old owner had indeed returned. I'm delighted to say that Mo and his team have rekindled what is a fabulous place to dine. The service is impeccable and the food just as good. An extensive menu with the added bonus of Mo creating a dish to your taste should you wish for something a little different to those listed. We travel frequently between our homes in London and Sheffield so every time we tackle the A1 in future I think a visit to Aasha is definitely on the cards!

We visited the Aasha with a group of workmates for a retirement do and the place is awesome in my opinion!The food was tasty, served quickly by polite staff and the portions were just right. The staff were attentive without being intrusive and the premises were lovely and clean.We will definitely return to Aasha again as the food was amazing.

Visited this evening with our daughter who was home for a few days. The food was very very nice from the starters to the mains. I can highly recommend the chicken Tamil ! The service was excellent attentive but not intrusive. Can't believe we live 3 miles away and this is the first time we visited , will certainly be back.

Been here a few times and it's always been good. Read a few other reviews and they are just nonsense. Nicely decorated inside and pretty modern for an Indian restaurant. I'd recommend asking for a surprise dish - say what you like and see what comes. You won't be disappointed!

We went for a family meal for our son's 9th birthday after eating here several times before and always having a lovely meal. 8 of us eating and no one disappointed, food beautiful as usual, attentive friendly staff and comfortable clean restaurant.Great with our son who has special needs, will be back again soon.

We eat here 4 times a year when travelling home from visiting relatives. Recently (our last 2 visits) the quality of the food has been noticeably lower. The "classic" chicken curries have small, rubbery, tasteless cubes of chicken instead of large meaty pieces and the rice tastes like the pre-cooked frozen stuff you can buy in any supermarket. Service is good and the onion bhajis are very good. Also the bill was added up wrongly so I re-calculated it and left the appropriate amount.

We have been visiting this place for 20 years. Always the same from Mo great service , food and just a pleasant all round experience. Our party was aged 7 yrs to 86yrs and not an empty plate in sight. Onion bhajis to die for xx

We have been a few times but this time I had the Chicken Tikka Shishlik [ is this a shashlik in sauce ?] with mushroom rice. I can honestly say this is the best meal I have had for many years. All the meals we have had here have been very good and this is the very best.Cate had the chicken makhani which was also excellent. Wash it down with a cobra beer -unbeatable. Highly Recommended.

We enjoyed a delightful meal in this restaurant. It is modern and well appointed. The service was attentive and really quite slick. The menu is extensive and typical of Indian restaurants there were a few items which were new to us and would be worth exploring.

Read the reviews travelled from Rotherham took me 17 minutes what a treat will not go anywhere else pity it's out of way but well worth travelling for it ordered two starters onion bhaji chicken tikka starter mains chicken madras the chicken melts in my mouth sauce is stunning as well looks a nice place for a sit in as well nice friendly staff stunning food what else can I say will definitely be back

We have visited this establishment over the years with our family and friends and have never been let down. Nothing is ever too much for them, especially Mo and Son who always offer you sound advice in respect of items on the menu and related variations available.

Had a lovely time, the food was really enjoyable and well seasoned. Reasonably priced, and the staff welcoming and attentive throughout the meal. Will definitely be back !!

Very flavoursome and tasty food! However I did feel as though the staff wanted to gain as much money out of me and my colleagues as possible. Continuously floating around our table ... annoying but I understand the requirements they have to work towards. Decor is nice however the downstairs toilet was filth! No lock on the toilet either! Lucky I didn't a number 2 after my curry! Yes I would visit again

Family surprised us on recent trip to a fine meal at this Restaurant, first thoughts were: oh no - not another curry house! What a difference, Brother had ordered a Kurzi ( not sure of the correct spelling) lamb (which apparently had to cook for a minimum of 7 hours) for us and a variety of side dishes to compliment the main meal. The whole leg of lamb was superb and just fell off the bone, Staff were very attentive and made sure food and drinks were kept topped up until we were completely sated.Very busy restaurant so please book ahead, you won't be disappointed!if booking for a large group I recommend the Kurzi Lamb but give them 24 hours notice

Nothing can describe how fabulous thus restaurant is not only the venue itself but the food is amazing and the staff are fantastic. If you don't know what to have let Mo design one of his tailor made specials Will we return ! Always

Wells it's the return of Mo and Faizel. The standards are back to first class at this establishment. Been in with all the family and we all agree on its the place for a first class curry.
