Lovely tearoom with a superb selection of homemade cakes! Served by a very friendly lady. Lunch and breakfast offerings looked excellent.

My partner and I come here regularly . We do not live in North Petherton but happily travel for the best breakfast around! The cakes are also amazing and staff are so lovely.

What a great little Cafe/Restaurant ! Staff are Fabulous , great Breakfast and a Fantastic range of home made cakes . Would 100% recommend a visit if you’re in the area . This is a gem of a cafe, you’re greeted with a genuine warm welcome on arrival followed by the most wonderful food. We are regulars for the Sunday lunch now, it’s incredible value being plentiful, fresh and delicious. Be sure to book as it’s very popular and rightly so!

Stopped here as we journeyed from Oxford to Cornwall. Far better than a service station. Small inside but great lady who runs things all cooked fresh. Turn off the M4 and go there.

Upon entering we were warmly greeted. The service was awesome, we were offered as much tea as we wanted, the breakfast was outstanding, the produce was fresh and really good quality. This cafe is worth leaving the motorway for.

Lovely home run cafe. Food is great - we had eggs florentine and the eggs were perfectly poached and the hollandaise was the best I’ve had. Kids were happy with cake too, ladies serving us were so kind and pleasant with the boys. We stopped off to break a long journey from London to Devon and this is so much better than a service station!

Very small establishment so I would recommend booking to guarantee a table. I visited here on a Saturday with friends and had a bacon, brie and cranberry panini with chips. I found the chips a little disappointing as they were oven chips, I’d of preferred homemade chips with everything else being so lovey and homemade or maybe they would of tasted better fried. I had a rocky road to take away which was great quality and tasted very good. Overall everyone was very pleased with their meals.

Bright, clean and welcoming. Our daughter lives 2 minutes walk away, so after a night out with them we came here for breakfast. Full English and Veggie breakfasts were lovely, good tea and coffee…. Then being greedy we had cakes. Homemade. Just great. We took home 4 brandy mince pies. They were too good to leave. Lovely staff too. Well done.

Wanted to stop en route to Minehead for a light bite so searched TripAdvisor for a cafe off the M5. My husband and I were not disappointed. This cafe is charming and friendly and everything is of top quality and all home made. I had tuna salad with coleslaw which was beautifully presented followed by a warm fruit scone, jam and cream with plenty of tea! My husband had a brie and bacon panini followed by an Eton Mess sundae with a flat white. We ate every last morsel and it was a lovely start to our break away for my husband's 60th birthday. His sundae even had a candle on the top! So lovely. As well as homemade cakes and treats there is an extensive breakfast menu served til 11am and garden seating at the rear. Shame we're not local!

We visited here twice for breakfast whilst staying in North Petherton and purchased some of the amazing bakes on offer. The service, food & cost couldn't be faulted at all. The lady who owns and runs it is busy, but we were very well looked after and nothing was too much trouble. We would go back in a heartbeat - everything was so delicious and prepared with love & care - a rare find these days and they deserve every bit of success coming their way!

Cant believe we have such a gem of a place here in our village. Food was absolutely first class, roast dinner was fit for a king and the desserts are to die for!

On a day of blustery and unpredictable weather, we were glad to get into the shelter of “A Slice of Happiness “. The menu is simple but has everything that we required for lunch. The lady serving was busy but very welcoming. The food was delicious and just right for our appetites.

Just came back from holiday and couldn't be fussed to cook a Sunday lunch, so I placed an order for a takeaway Sunday lunch. Absolutely delicious, and our plates were full of a good selection of veg, roasties, cauliflower cheese, yorkshire puds and the meat. Extremely good value for money as always.

I don't usually write reviews, but this placed made in sign into my old account. Perfect food, fantastic staff and a great atmosphere. Despite being on a main road you hardly hear the road when sitting in the back. I think this might be my new usual.
