A Proper Little Chippy in East Lindsey

Disappointing, wanted to try here for awhile after it was recommended by friends , chips were under cooked and looked white , fish fell to pieces when you tried to pick it up, peas were ok . On a plus side the staff were lovely and it looked cleaned but we took away .

Usually always use this chippy but last visit the food (especially chips) were massive let down and after a long wait too

First time visit since refurbished after tragic fire last year every thing was spotless as it would be standard of food still as great as ever besr chip 🍟 shop in Skegness in my opinion also they do home delivery which my mother use all the time as she lives alone great value for the price

Always loved this chippy. We missed it when it was closed for a refurbish after a fire. Sitting in the cafe side, my husband and I each had Mini fish, chips & mushy peas for under a fiver! And it’s more than enough to feed a hungry adult. Highly recommend this place even if it’s for a take out xx

I thought it had burnt down because all the windows were borded up when I drove past it a few weeks ago

Absolutely beautiful. The phrase fitting of the fish and chips we had, mushy peas an all. You have really got to try this place. Portion size more than ample, best chips around bar none. You have tried the rest, now try the best?

Well seen all the great reviews of this place so we thought we would give it a try. Their were two members of staff behind the counter and one person being served so we stood waiting to be served for 10 minutes and no joy . Did not get the decency of We Will be with you in a minute they just stood talking amongst theim selves.we ended up walking out without any food this is by far the worst customer service we have ever uncounted.I can only comment on the service not the food.

Great fish and chip restaurant, no frills, just great British Fish and chips (and mushy peas). Nice cup of tea too, a lovely way to finish off our couple of days at the coast.

Lovely food, the kebab meat is georgeous, a lot better than others in the area not greasy at all, the portion size is good enough for two in a bag of chips. Will defiantly be going back

Wonderful chippy! We had plaice it was delicious, we couldn’t eat everything on the plate the portions are massive! Very clean and service was brilliant. Definitely be back first class. Highly recommend .

We go here every time we go down as it is without a doubt the best about.i have the kebab and its fresh.wife has the fish and its white not grey like other places near by.well worth it.its been voted best chippy for the last few years by ingoldmells site.so if your down try for yourself.

We went to have a birthday tea for my sons 7th birthday, the kids love it and the food was amazing, the fish was battered while you wanted which was a massive star in our book, The staff were charming and friendly and it was very welcoming and we loved it and will definitely be coming back when we are in Skegness again :)

Lovely best fish and chips ive tasted for a long time would recommend to anyone seemed to be very busy and very popular

Como su húmedo y ventoso pensamos que habría un almuerzo para llevar 4. Ambos tuvimos maltratada salchichas mi marido tenía un jumbo y yo tuvimos una pequeña. Su solo era comestible y la mía era asqueroso. Era tan seco que no podía cortar en él, terminó en la papelera, no utilizar el sitio de nuevo.

Excellent again.Best chippy in ingoldmells. Fish is excellent batter melts in your mouth. We go there each time we visit ingoldmells.

Recién preparado de pescado que se sirve todos los días con la mejor cata de guisantes puede ser blanda, comer y sillas mesa dentro o fuera y bancos. Las raciones son generosas por sus especiales y a un precio razonable. Tienen horas de apertura de la temporada y se encuentra en la carretera principal así que es de fácil acceso.

Not used this chippy for a while. Good quality food at a reasonable price, delivered. Can be hard at times to find places who sell a decent Yorkshire fishcake. Would recommend..........

This fairly large chip shop provides eating in and takeaway, the interior is very clean the food is good quality and the staff are very friendly. The chip shop is located away from the busy seafront on a side street just as you are leaving Skegness their is convenient parking outside on the street.

what can i say about this chippy the best ive tasted evr you come to the sea side in search ov a good chippy and thats why this one is the best i dont know why but im sure lots of people will agree not only that has lots of space for you to eat

Been a few times to the proper little chippy good service friendly staff and good quality haddock or cod also do a smaller size portions for the elderly only fault is do not do teapots of tea only cups or mugs but will be going backig as a very busy takeaway as well.

Everything thing have here is lush the fish is always fresh night white color and cater is never sogie chips are chunky n I have mushy peas n they are mushy mushy peas luv them away warm when arrive the batter nice n crispy can eat the hole fish it's a must to eat here

Over the last several years we have have regularly visited the proper little chippe when taking time out in Skegness and have mainly enjoyed it, until 5/12/15 the waitress who we has served us before appeared like it was to much bother and the chips were dry like they had been left for a while, my pie was microwaved but the fish and spam fritter was nice.it will be a while before we go there again maybe it was an off day.

Went and had the lunchtime special. Mini fish, chips and peas. Nothing mini about the meal for £4.80. Food WA wwwaswas great

In my opinion thia is the best chippy in Skegness and there a feq good ones. The highlight for me is the Yorkshire fish cake. Near the seafront, parking is easy and a nice sitting area. Gets very busy but service is quick enough and you can order.Haven't been able to fault it on our several visits these last few months.

Great fish and chips afternoon or evening. Staff friendly and food always a winner. Seating area if you don't want to sit on the beach to eat your chips. They also do a nice cuppa tea

From the first time we went to this chippy to our 300th!! this place never lets you down. Fresh!! Freshly cooked and the chips are to die for. Best place Lincolnshire let alone Skegness. Proper cooked instead of anaemic chips!! Staff are welcoming and.nothing is too much trouble. Thank you. Oh and they deliver!! Sweet music to my ears and taste buds.

Really crunchy tasty batter, proper chip shop chips. What else could you ask for? We have had both takeaway and have eaten in. Service was very good, nice sized portions and value for money.

Best fish and chips in skegness and big portions. Five of us had lunch there we all enjoyed it only criticism if you can call it one the portions were very large brill.

Been going here the last couple of years, lovely little chippy in Ingoldmells village, not sure if it has not changed hands now as the name had changed above it.
