I ordered s donor kebab with extra chillies and extra cabbage. I got no cabbage, salad or chillies in my kebab and 1 small pot of salad!!!!! That’s not extra, that’s what I should had on my kebab. I phoned to complain and they told me a donor kebab doesn’t come with any salad!!!! First time I’ve ever ordered a donor and not had salad as a given. Disgusting service. 🤬

Still awful! Went again last night as THE GRILL (a far better kebab shop) was closed. Out of desperation we ended up in ABC. Rude staff Sub part meat which was undercooked Greasy A tale of woe. AVOID!!!

The worst kebab, service and experience I've ever had the misfortune of having. Hygiene also is non existent. If you want a decent kebab, go to The Grill.

Had chicken kebabs last night was disappointed tasted of old fat and a slight curry powder taste,the pitta bread was soaked with the grease. The salad was coated in oil which neither of us could eat. We had takeaway from here a few years back which was lovely, so disappointed how tasteless and greasy the food now is, I even had to put my clothes into the wash as they smelt of the grease

One of the best lamb shish kebabs I've had . Charred but still juicy , complimented by a well home made chilli sauce and fresh salad . The chicken doner was so mouthwatering I nearly dribbled . Friendly staff who upgraded our garlic bread pizza for free . Will definitely be visiting again in the not to distant future ☺️

Have no idea what cheese is! Don’t order anything with cheese. Otherwise very average. Customer service poor.

I love ordering from ABC BBQ they are best in town .They delivery in time and they do free garlic bread i love them kebab and pizza they allways friendly on the phone.

Absolutely fantastic food and people! Best kebabs ever. Hands down the best kebab house in town. Always have impeccable food, the quality never slips. My family and I have been going to this shop longer than I can remember. Fabulous selection of salad that is crisp, fresh and tasty. Can't praise their food any higher. Amazing chicken kebabs yum yum yummy.

I have decided to write a review after trying this place a couple of times. Absolutely loved it here, food amazing and staff fantastic. 100% recommended.

We used this shop for the first time. I have seen all that good reviews and wanted to try it out. I ordered 3 large chicken kebabs and some side orders. Placed the order at 7pm and received our delivery around 7.40 which was great. Chicken was tender, very well cooked. I asked salads in different container and one of them to be without onion and they got them all ok too. I was looking to find something to complain about but no luck, it's all good. Stay that way ABC!

Tender chicken shish as always. Always good food and good service, and local! We usually order on week days when it’s not too busy. So we did again las night. We order two large chicken and large chips every week. Keep up the good work pls 👍

Excellent choice, nice customisations. I wish they consider adding a vegan cheese & vegan sausage options. I added fresh basil from my own kitchen. Chips were fantastic, they were taken out the oil just right on time! Friendly service and excellent temperature, even though we’re a little way out of town. Thank you ABC Barbeque.

They have a great big menu. There is something for everyone. I’m a vegetarian but everyone else are meat eater so abc barbeque is just right for us. They can improve on delivery time but apart from that its all good.

I ordered some kebabs after a long time. To be honest it was much tastier and delivery was well on time. I will give it a go again and come back here to update my review if anything goes wrong. As for my order. Lamb shish was really tender. Chips was taken right on time from the oil. Salad was fresh and plenty of it. Thanks

We have been with abc over 10yrs, after new owners it has gone downhill. Terrible food - not fresh, when queried over the phone - very rude and puts the phone down! not worth the money for the amount of upset stomachs we had! Shame as it used to be nice little take away in saffron Walden. Should be closed down.

They delivered Pizzas to Newport where I live. It was a fast delivery and good taste. It was our first order and will do again.

ABC always provides great Kebabs and Pizza my preference is a large special mixed Kebab :) All ow a few extra minutes than what they quote over the phone.

overpriced for what it is , food is alright , theres often sketchy people hanging about late at night , puts me off calling in , this town is calling out for a decent take away

Food has good down hill i know its just a takeway but there should be some pride taken in the quality ,quantity and price charged.

We used to love ABC but not now chips warmed up from earlier in day not good value gone down hill wont use it again better takeaway round corner the food at ABC was really good value but not now

ABC has always been a bit hit and miss in terms of food quality and service but overall worth the risk as it's always been really good when they get it right. Since the new management has taken over the prices have sky rocketed, portion sizes have halved and the quality is consistently poor. Disappointment is no longer a risk but expectation. I thought I'd give it one more go but no, after 20+ years I wont be ordering from them again.

Food is amazingly tasty and served hot with great service from employees. Shop is clean and well spaced. I will definitely be coming back here a lot.

New owners only accept CASH now convenient mr tax man, food is terrible, messed up the order and all had upset stomachs to top it off would avoidant all cost.

So, the food is fine, but portions have halved in side but doubled in cost. A portion of curly fries used to be enough for 2 people, now it’s a small portion for £3.50. Minimum order for delivery is now £15 too.

Under new management, there has been many improvements with great food and service! Highly recommend to go and give it a try!

Been avoiding ABC as I have heard lots of reports the food is as bad as the new owners. We took the plunge and finally went there for convenience quick and easy evening meal, we had a pizza, a large doner and a chicken doner and to be fair it was just ok. But, when I went to pay I got out my contactless card like you do and was rudely told he would do it this time but in future it has to be cash !! REALLY !! what shop nowadays just deals in cash !! well there wont be a next time !! easy huh

Our family have been using this once very good take-a-way since it first opened in the mid 80's. With four changes in management along the way, it had always maintained good quality tasty food. However since the current management change recently, the quality is now awful and the prices have increased at the same time. Once we would have recomended this establishment, but with all the changes made recently we would say avoid like the plague. It's really bad!

We took a chance & ordered from ABC in Saffron Walden on a Friday night to be delivered. Timings were spot on on what they said but the food was awful! Chips were already soggy when it got here. Both the pizza & the garlic bread were so over cooked the base was spongy & it was as though they'd just not bothered with cheese! Dreadful takeaway, don't recommend at all!

Usually order weeky and sometimes there might be an item missing from order but food was good. Last few weeks seen quality go down considerably. But this week 4 items missing. No apology and so 40 minute wait for missing items. We had chicken strips, which comprised burnt coating and dry chicken. Pieces of fried chicken, was a missing item but when turned up smelt funny and was slimey. Last time we use them.

We use this place regularly for home delivery. The lady on phone is always cheerful and helpful and accommodates special requests easily.

Turned up after work about 10:50pm, lights on door open, guy sitting in car outside. I got out and was told by, guessing owner, they were shut. I said website states 11:30 closing, which his reply was so what with a shrug of the shoulders. Obviously he doesn't care he is loosing customers. Won't bother next time.

Never in my life have I met such rude, unwelcoming staff. In addition to this the food is awful, so I won't be going back

Good burgers - freshly cooked in front of you. Reasonable quality for the price - this a a good place to go for a late night snack too - they stay open late to accommodate hungry people leaving pubs at the end of the evening.

We went at lunch time on the 23 June and ordered salad and fried chicken. One of the staff was anoyed that we interrupted his lunch break. He came back with a salad which looked like the lettuce was prepared yesterday, the fried chicken was dried and luke warm with hard batter coating. We threw the whole lot in the bin.

Staff were rude and unprofessional, other members of staff were sat outside smoking while all blew into the shop. Seriously need to take a look in the mirror and learn a few things about service. STAY AWAY.

Cook used the same tongs he just put raw chicken on the grill with to remove cooked chicken. Not good. On the whole the food is good but it is literally "Slopped" together. Kebab fell apart on getting it home as the pitta had been sliced about 3 times and all the edges had split. Saw the delivery man delivering pre-made pizza bases so the chap on here earlier that said it was handmade dough is sorely mistaken!

I love a kebab. A doner meat kebab in a crisp pitta with the salad and the chilli sauce, a rare treat that I very much look forward to. The last three kebabs I have gotten from The ABC have been unacceptable. The Pitta is cooked and then sliced with the delicacy of a chain-saw. Upon opening the whole thing just falls to pieces. A tiny bit of care when cutting the pitta would hold the whole thing together and make it easier to eat.

Hace unas semanas pedí un envio a domicilio. Mezclado y un kebab Kebab de pollo. Que echaba mis calcetines. Licitación cordero tierno pollo y carne de tamaño pequeño a la cena. Estaba delicioso nada que criticar. Esta noche he pedido el mismo y qué diferencia con el kebab mezclado salsas en paquetes de individuales. (no tengo que pedir la última vez) Esta vez una completa inversión. Dos bits de pollo reducido a ir más allá. 800 Una parte del cordero kebab. Pero ahora carne. donner Para la más cara es carne kebab donner principalmente. Ensalada bueno. No me impresionó. Me pareció que abc había reconocido sus anteriores fracasos y mejorados. Parece que para mí fue un y volvieron a mala calidad de nuevo. En el lado más brillante veo un Outlet comida mexicana basada en una caravana móvil. Pero era imputable a lo largo de la calle. Sé dónde voy la próxima vez. No estoy dando el resto de la especias kebab sin al perro como no quiero limpio por la mañana. No impresionado

Really good pizza with handmade dough, not-too-thick/not-too-thin crusts and generous toppings. Lots of options for toppings without being too frilly about it. Has limited indoor and outdoor seating as well as local delivery.

Con frecuencia nos llevar desde aquí, recientemente la comida ha conseguido mucho mejor. Los pinchos son muy agradables, especialmente el pollo shish. Sólo desearía que hicieron un pollo doner también! Siempre acomodar mis peticiones sin cebolla, etc. . Y cada persona siempre quiere ensalada diferente y generalmente acierta.

Mi amigo y yo pedimos llevar abc. Tenía que entregar. Tardó 45 minutos en llegar. Doner kebab y tuve mi amigo tenía pollo frito. Habíamos visto en Facebook que alguien tenía una mosca en su comida muerto pero lo intentamos de todos modos. Cuando mi amigo estaba a mitad de camino a través de su comida vio una mosca muerta en su pollo. Ellos me llamaron y me ofrecieron un reembolso sólo para el pollo o un reemplazo. Sin duda, restitución y nunca pedir de nuevo. Asquerosa. Necesidades de salud ambiental de verdad!!!!

Food is always fresh and very tasty, portions are always generous, the lady taking the telephone orders is always very helpful and they deliver on time. They have never let us down, would highly recommend! Ps. Their chicken pieces are my family's absolute favourite..

He comido aquí antes de comida para llevar y a menudo recoger las alas de pollo o una pizza (que están bien) pero en esta ocasión, elegí la hamburguesa de pollo y era verdaderamente me decepcionó lo finas piezas de pollo era ... Me gustaría tener más por menos dinero en una :( No hace falta decir que no se compra que otra vez pero me de McDonald's estoy bastante probable que haga una visita de regreso para otras opciones disponibles.

Este lugar tiene hamburguesas - buena carne de calidad - muy sabroso. El servicio es siempre rápido y con una sonrisa. La comida es siempre fresca y me gustaron particularmente el hecho de que se puede ver la cocina/cocina - así que no escondido nasties aquí. Lo admito, principalmente vienen aquí al final de la noche y algunas bebidas (cuando la mayoría de las cosas sabor bueno ... ) pero recientemente tuvimos una hamburguesa alrededor de las 6:30 pm, siga recto después del trabajo - y fue fabuloso.

Well its a Kebab house so dont haute cuisine! Try asking them to grill the kebab meat for a special new taste. All other fast food not too bad either. Dont let the shabby interior fool you.

went for a chicken shish , really tasty and cooked to perfection would rather if it was bit cheaper though comparing to other places i ate , however really good food and will be eating again !
