friendly local pub , good service, and plenty to choose from.

tired, neglected, one member of staff overwhelmed, television and pool table were in the same small room with a number of table and chairs meaning nothing worked. dirty glasses, rubbish and cigarette end’s everywhere, weeds and filthy outside tables, drinks were flat and not properly chilled, out of date blackboards, totally uncared for building and customers despite the member of staff doing their best and constantly apologising

Oh, let me tell you about the legendary Emily, the barmaid extraordinaire! Not only did she mix the most fantastic drinks, but she also possessed magical powers to charge phones! Who needs an outlet when you have Emily around, right? And wait for it... her art skills! Prepare to be dazzled, my friend. She'll entertain you with her masterpieces while you sip on your favorite concoction. It's a double whammy of awesomeness! I can't recommend Emily's talents enough. She's a must-see, must-drink, must-charge kind of barmaid! Cheers to that!

I never before been served by barstaff who are at the same time cradling a pet. Appalling lack of hygiene

Great little pub in Felsted perfect for after work drinks, lovely staff and great view of the Felsted school cricket pitches. Looking forward to summer evenings again when we need to quench our thirst after long days of bouncy fun and hard work!

Excellent pint of Guinness,froth actually sticks to pint glass once finished,as it should do . Might become my local.

Just a great traditonal pub. Few and far between nowadays, the Chequers is one of the best in Essex

With a Pool table and Dart Board and Sports on the TV.... what more could you ask for!

O svátku sv. Patrika to tu bylo docela plno. Ale i přesto pracovníci byli velice slušní a ochotní. Při nerozhodnosti mi pomohli vybrat. Příjemné nekuřácké prostředí.

Located in Felsted, this is basically the only pub around town. No music played at any time. Good selection of beers and warm atmosphere.

Great little village pub, just moved to the area and made to feel very welcome., allowed my dog in and had a bowl of water for him. Has a pool table and a nice garden. Love my new local. 🍺
