7Bone Burger Co. in Reading

Moving to a vast industrial brewery with no atmosphere at all must be one of the worst business decisions made by this company. I tried to get served, with no joy with that and the small of urine where I was sitting made it a completely dismal experience. So I simply walked out. Used to go the St Mary’s Butts all the time but they’ve lost a loyal customer. Just goes to show, they don’t care.

Food was great!! The lovely lady that served me and my partner, wish I had caught her name but she was lovely creating a friendly atmosphere. Especially after a long day of rain, the burgers we had were amazing, service was quick and good portions! Definitely will be back!

Came as part of a large Christmas party. Fantastic service and really great food. Very attentive and communicative when dealing with the big group booking. WR code system super easy. This set up works really well for chilled informal food to go with Phantom’s atmosphere. Loved it, thank you for great food and a lovely time!

Good burgers but strong smell from the loos made being there quite unpleasant. Order using QR code only. If you want any sauces - there is a charge and need to be ordered using the QR code as well… so best to do that when placing the order. We didn’t leave a tip as this had to be added when placing the order before you even experience the service! Frickles were average.

No table service. QR codes only. 10% assumed tip for the privilege of filling out your own order form. Your burger now comes with a privacy policy. Welcome to black mirror.

Seated 6 of us turning up at 9pm. Funny smell to the place but friendly staff, nice vibe and extensive (if alittle busy) menu. Burgers all went down well. Everything was super salty though. Prices ok.

Just fantastic, I've been following 7bone for ages and finally made a pilgrimage to the Reading restaurant, great staff, quick service and probably one of the best burgers I've ever eaten, I had wings to start, and a Donny j trump burger and dirty tatatots. Will be going back.

Food was incredible, especially with vegan burgers! Own beers were fab. Dan looked after us, lovely lovely, very friendly, brilliant service! Would come back any time!

I was very unimpressed at going to a burger bar on a night out with mates. I’m not a burger bar kind of guy. The place was empty, looked like a cheap cafe from an American movie (which I think is kind of the idea) but I am converted. We were served by a lovely and very relaxed young man - Josh - who got the balance between looking after us and leaving us alone spot on. He was patient with the ignorant old man (me) who was a bit confused by the amount of variations on the humble burger and fries, and explained everything very calmly. The various burgers all ordered by our group were all received with various contented noises, and I loved my Kung Fu Fries. I suppose the best endorsement I can give is that I’ll be going back with the family!

Been a few times now and it's always a treat; the staff are always chill and friendly, doesn't feel forced. The food is amazing, always get the halloumi fries which never disappoint. Nice unique selection of drinks too and never had one that wasn't great. Just a great grounded place with great food and people

Worst takeaway I have ever had! Fries and burgers were all basically completely cold. Fries were soggy and tasteless and the burger was full of bits of gristle. Cheap burgers from the supermarket would have been nicer. First and most definitely the last time I will ever use this place!

I was on my way down from London to pick up a second set of glasses near Barnard Castle in Durham when I spotted this rather charming “burger” jaunt in the downmarket hamlet of Reading. The staff were very blurry but seemed very nice and helpful. I’ve recently lost my job and had a falling out with an old friend so it was great to see such cheery, smiley faces. The service was almost as good as the civil service.I chose to have the Dirty Linda as it reminded me of an old pen pal from my days at Oxford. The bun was as supple as the ones my friend Rishi sneaks out from the parliamentary cafe for me. The halloumi was exquisite and crisp, the only time I have had it prior at another establishment it tasted like I was chewing on the tyre of one of my Range Rovers so I was pleasantly surprised and the sauce combination reminded me of the delicious taste of the tears of orphans my childhood. I came to the last bite which gave me the sort of satisfaction that only comes from doing something that feels monumental like driving Britain out of the European Union.I have to say all in all I thoroughly enjoyed it and I will be returning as soon as I unveil all of Boris’ most intimate secrets can.Yours sincerely,Dominic C

No está dirigido a mí, sino a una clientela más joven y moderna que está feliz de pagar más por techos en bruto y bordes de madera contrachapada. Fue agradable, pero no valió la pena, una comida de hamburguesa por cinco en Weatherspoons no es de la misma calidad, pero viene con papas fritas y una cerveza.

My first visit to a 7Bone with family for my daughters birthday treat. We had some very tasty burgers that were of good quality. Very enjoyable on a very stormy night.

You go once and you will never stop going. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is amazing and the staff are amazing. CAUTION: you may orgasm if you get the cheese fries they are that GOOD. Great options of food for everyone and even have vegan options. The milkshakes are gorg also get the salted caramel it's beautiful.

About 15 visits over the last few years, and always satisfies. I enjoyed one of their set burger meals served pink, and with a side of dirty fries with garlic and truffle oil sauce. To drink I guzzled their Sauvignon blanc. I’ d just been to a funeral, so it all helped raise my spirits. Great customer service, as I’m disabled and park my little scooter at reception.

I have eaten in Reading's 7Bone a few times now and loved it every time, most recently with a party of 16 on a work's night out. The staff were great, helpful and totally un-phased by 16 orders and splitting the bill etc etc.I love a burger all the way from BK to gourmet but 7Bone is a cut above the rest for flavour. A great range of trendy beers and the stripped-down industrial decor deserve a mention too. See you again soon.

Visited here whilst visiting family - based on their recommendation and it was so good! Messy messy messy but good!Burgers are a good size for the price and portion of chips is huge, especially the dirty fries with all the added extras! All had the truffle mac with chips as a main, even though it was a side dish - it was so filling! Friendly service aswell, a little over priced but well worth it!

An on the spur of the moment visit, I had heard about the brand. But as I was walking past, I thought to “give it a go “.Very pleasantly surprised , we went with the “Red basket deal” as was great value.Burger and dirty chips (with chilli). Very tasty and very good value for money. The only fly in the ointment was the drinks, soft drinks 250ml at a price that I would have thought for a pint/ 454ml.

Visited this with my family as heard they had vegan and veggie options so catered to our group. The beef burger was delicious if not a little messy and the vegan/veggie options are also hugely enjoyed. The food is cooked to order and arrived quickly and correctly. Everyone enjoyed everything that was ordered and the prices seemed reasonable for the portions. We visited on a Monday lunchtime when the place was pretty quiet but have heard it gets very busy on weekends and evenings. Scored down from full marks as the place was very cold so we ate in our coats and jackets. Will be visiting again when back in the area though.

This is a great place to eat. They do a great selection of burgers, with an amazing vegan patty that I honestly thought it must be meat! They assured me it wasn’t... Tai was our waitress and another lovely waiter made us most welcome encouraging the app to save money with visits. We’ll certainly be going back!

Daisy’s revenge was the best vegan burger we have tried in a good while! Patty wasn’t rubbery and had plenty of flavour. Just a shame we couldn’t get shredded iceberg on it as an addition. Could’ve done with slightly more sauce too. My go-to prince charles is overrated was delicious as always. Just be prepared to get your hands dirty ;) very good amount of chips which are well seasoned! One portion is plenty for two people. Impressed by the choice of beers but disappointed that the employee was unable to advise us about the ciders and didn’t offer to find out.

I went to the restaurant for my 22nd birthday with my family. We were all very happy with the service, drinks, and the food (catered brilliant for my vegetarian needs along with my family’s carnivore needs). Even finished off by giving me a shot of whisky and a shot of pickle juice. Only thing I could say could be improved is the hallumi fries weren’t brilliant

Haven’t been here for a while but George and his team were brilliant, especially his assistant from Portugal. Food good, wine good. Internet 1 mobs rubbish. Wheelchair user and brill help from staff.

I expected burger from this place as average as GBK but this is just too cheap taste, even the extra sauce didn't add any good taste and portion of fries were too large that I felt like they put the the leftover because every piece of fries from the very beginning tasted so bad that 90% became leftover. Service was ignored.

The Triple B and Reading Special burgers were both tasty and the portion of fries with each was a good size. But they were nothing to write home about either.

I'll keep it short so I don't sound too negative. Came with two friends. I had one of the beef burgers and my friends each had one of the chicken burgers. Yes, it was cooked pink, but the burger had no body or flavour and fell apart. For £8+ it was a shame they then wanted you to pay for a side (chips) which were limp and covered in what I wouldn't describe as cheese, but a cheese sauce.

The food in this restaurant is delicious - it's the sort of menu you think about for months afterwards! We loved the idea of getting a burger and heading down for a beer, and spending the evening in the premises, but we weren't really sure why the bar downstairs and the restaurant aren't connected.

I go here at least once a month for the Daisy's Revenge vegan burger. The staff are super nice, the interior is nice and chill and the burger is phenomenal. Really recommend it.

Having been here three times I feel I can speak fairly on the site. The food is exactly what you want for an Instagram worthy burger with the taste. You won't be disappointed in this regard. I have yet to have a bad meal there and I do recognise the price is on the upper end of burger prices but it is worth the cost. It has a great selection of options from sides to burgers to keep you fed as both a lunch or dinner option.

I went to this restaurant with my family for a early dinner and the recommendation of my 18 yr old son . Having selected a Donnie J Thrump burger with Fried Chillis I wasn’t quite sure what to expect . It was truly exceptional, the quality of the food and service where exemplary and definitely worth revisiting. The value was outstanding and we came out totally satisfied . Went and had a burger with a colleague after work. Whilst it was quite quiet, it was still a perfectly fine place to sit and talk.

Shockingly priced. I have had better burger and fry meals for 1/4 of the price at McDonalds! Ordered the chicken nuggets as a side to share and there were 3 pieces of what can only resemble KFC popcorn chicken for £4. What a joke. They weren’t even nice!

Went there for dinner with my miss and other 2 friends. They asked us to wait downstairs even if there was plenty of tables available but this was not big deal (I think they wanted people to see how did it look like downstairs). We ordered what we liked and had our dinner. A burger each with some sides: burgers were a bit small but fair play since the price is not really expensive. Cannot really say I enjoyed the meal since I could just taste a lot of sauce and went out from there feeling not great. The worst happened during the night when I woke up and vomited everything I had in there. Same thing happened to the other 3 people (my girlfriend and 2 friends of us): wrote them via email and they came back to us with a report saying everything was fine with their food so the problem was us having a virus. Was offered a voucher to spend in there which confused me even more (why would you offer me a compensation if you are definitely sure everything was perfect in terms of food quality???) but refused it since will never go back in there again: NOT EVEN FOR FREE!

I'd been recommended 7Bone by a few people over the last few months saying how much better it had been compared to their local rivals, I took it with a pinch of the proverbial salt, I mean how much better can a burger be than Five Guys offerings? Well, let me tell you, a lot better. The menu was varied and the food, drinks (I wholly recommend the PB&J; milkshake), service and setting are all fantastic. Genuinely the best beefburger I have ever had.

Me and my family have visited 7Bone for the first time in Reading branch. We were served by a lady with black hair. We were highly disappointed in the service she provided. She didn’t give us a single smile, seemed slow and seemed robotic with her service, didn’t introduce herself. Would think maybe she had a bad day, but she seemed very nice to her fellow co-workers and kept giggling and talking to them and for us couldn’t even give a “fake” smile.

This is one of those places where you could and would like to order everything on the menu. It all sounds so delicious! Often when u get fully stacked burgers they end up quite greasy but not here. Delicious, juicy and imaginative burgers with HUGE side portions. They fed 11 of us and service was pretty quick and everyone was satisfied and impressed. Already looking forward to our next visit

Really? The management really need to gen up on their cultural references. No Rasta would be seen dead eating “wings” of any kind. They are strict vegetarian. As it is the Caribbean flavour was lacking anyway as they appeared to be sticky wings just drenched in their Louisiana hot sauce. Cheating in my book, and missing any true flavour apart from chilli.

Best place for burgers I’ve ever been to, no doubt about it. Really need to improve on service though. We waited for ages before we got served, and that’s not the first time this happened. Once we finally ordered, food arrived quickly so kitchen staff is obviously doing a top notch job!

Have reviewed here before and I can't fault the food. It was as ever fantastic (when they got the order right!) The staff on this visit let it down though. The first arrival of food came with two wrong orders- the waitress hadn't written down the correct orders...no sauce on one of the burgers and 2 smashed patties on the other. This was fine...things happen right. It was quickly rectified and although the smashed pattie burger was still wrong when they bought it back (they'd doubled it up without being asked to) we just got on and tucked in seems as the other two in our party had nearly finished by then. When the bill came the waitress was incredible dismissive when we said we hadn't ordered a double up and said that's what we were given...yes!! But by her error and we weren't about to send the meal back for the third time. She went to talk to a guy who seemed to be the manager and they were clearly amused by us. They rectified the bill and gave a very small discount but we left feeling pretty crap. Mistakes happen and we were happy to get over that but if you are going to ridicule and smirk about your annoying customers at least have the decency to wait until we have left.

Best place to get a burger in Reading area.

7 bone is a fun restaurant to visit - certainly not the healthiest food, but if you want a blow out, it's hard to beat. The selection of burgers is wide and interesting, something for everyone. They're always hot, juicy and very tasty. The sides are also varied and good fun ('dirty fries' with chilli, cheese and jalapenos are my favourite, but the halloumi fries are also very nice). The staff have always been helpful and friendly, the food arrives quickly and the prices are reasonable too. Reading is pretty spoiled when it comes to choosing a burger restaurant, but 7 Bone do it very well, just more unique and fun than other chains like Honest/5 Guys etc. My kids love it too, the kids meal is well priced and a good portion.

Visited here to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. Quite a large party of us, served promptly and all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Will definitely visit again.

7bone, is just brilliant Restaurant, I really enjoy every moment of the time out there, Service Incredibly Amazing, Smiley, Fast, chatty, Really good team out there, The food was great, didn't had in my life before such a great dish, drinks so good, highly recommended. Deffo will visiting again soon. Love it.
