The coffee is fine but the service was awful. Waited 43 minutes for a toasted sandwich. Had to remind the staff twice that we were waiting only to be told it was coming. Last reminder, having waited then 35 minutes, we were then told they were short staffed and only had one chef??? and one grill. We were not told when ordering that there would be such a long delay just for a toasted sandwich. More organisation is needed.

Coffee tasted burnt, bitter and horrid. Actually struggled to drink it. Big shame. Lacking a coffee with flavour. Should look elsewhere.

The coffee has a PH of 2 and would be better used for chemistry experiments. My mum had a horrifically upset stomach and spent a long time on the toilet after that, which she doesn’t usually do with normal coffee. The coffee was worth 3.50 while in Greggs you can drink non scientific experiment coffee for 1.20.

On the morning I went for coffee it wasnt to busy. My coffee arrived quickly but the power sockets did not apear to work as my phone wouldn't charge (I tried two). Staff seemed more intrested in each other than checking on guests. Coffee was okay. To be honest it felt very clicky and I wasnt part of the click so maybe I am the problem. I wont be returning though.

Went as a group of 9, two tables. Booked far in advance and had selected our breakfasts. Very disorganised. Wrong orders. Two people left waiting ages. The pancakes were inedible. Avoid. Service was lacking and the more senior waitress was rude. Pros nice location by river and convenient for the theatre. Coffee was decent

Generally good coffee and nice food but one very rude staff member kept snapping at me over everything (e.g. snapping "our chef isn't here today we have no food!" ) until I ended up crying. Now feel uncomfortable going back sadly.

Reasonable coffee but disappointment that coffee was served in paper cups while we sat outside. We should have asked for China cups.

The staff, Reese, Carla and Georgia, could not of been more friendly or more helpful. We were greeted with a smile and the service got better from there. The location is lovely. The restaurant were clean, provided loads of sanitiser for hands. The toilet was clean and ladies (very thoughtful👍😊) Myself and my family are highly recommending a visit👍😊❤️

Visited here with my girlfriend to grab a coffee while we was was on a walk with our dogs. I went into the shop to order the coffee's and over heard the member of staff on the till complaining about the previous customer which isn't very professional. I ordered two hot drinks and went to wait outside for our order and waited over 10 minutes for our drinks which is not exceptable. What we did notice was the young staff were on their phones a lot! We will not return to this place. Also the drink were not very hot!

I came here with my sister as was told by friends about this coffee shop being a delightful place to go. Well i have to say i was very disappointed with my visit. I was standing outside whilst my sister went in to get takeaway coffees for us. I saw a man outside in chefs whites having a smoke. My sister came out with the coffees and told me about the cakes they had and decided to treat ourselves to one. So I went in to get these and upon receiving the cakes i saw the chef come in and went straight to the kitchen without even washing his hands after being outside for a smoke. Totally not on and disgusting especially as he is someone who is dealing with food. Needless to say i went outside and threw the cakes away as didnt want to chance eating them if he had made them. Was disappointed with the coffees too as was very strong. Definitely won't be returning with the coffee shop having hygiene practices like that

We hadn’t been before, but had read the TA reviews and thought we would give it a try. We found the place easily enough at the back of the high street, but it wasn’t very obvious how you got into the cafe, as the large doors at the front didn’t open. You enter via what looks like a service yard at the side.

This super coffee shop serves not just the best coffee in Tonbridge, but the best coffee for miles around! Tucked away in the Old Fire Station in Castle Street, just off the High Street, this place is well worth a visit. The young, enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff are great - always very welcoming and never appear to be stressed even when it is busy. There is a great range of coffee as you would expect and also lovely fresh cakes including croissants and usually a good selection of other delights, including gluten-free items. They also serve a limited selection of food, which is also excellent. The beetroot humus and avocado open sandwich is highly recommended. Highly recommended!

I'm fast becoming a weekend morning regular at this fabulous place and I would go as far as to say it's the best cup of coffee I have ever had. This wonderful and atmospheric red brick old fire station has had new life breathed back into since it's been reborn into a café/restaurant/bar and meeting place. The coffee at '65mm' (a nod to the owners passion for film), the now permanent in situ café, is making coffee which is standing head and shoulders above anything you'll find or drink at any of the faceless and bland high street brands. Staffed by knowledgeable and passionate baristas it's worth going out of your way to buy your coffee from this outstanding independent. Highly recommend...

Great local pub and staff are always friendly. They do some classic pub food served very casually - no gastro prices here! Sports are normally on but there's places to sit away from that if you like. Pool table at the back too. There's also some great local history which is worth looking into, especially if you're interested in world war 2. A spitfire crashed in the rear garden and some relics from that are on display, and a plaque dedicated to the pilot is above the door. There is a detailed display about a German Heinkel He111 bomber (serial number 3233, V4 + KL of 3/KG1) which crashed nearby stocks green and was displayed in the front car park to raise money for the spitfire fund during the Battle of Britain
