Pam does the best cottage pie.! Proper roast dinners with veg and gravy,or breakfasts at very affordable prices and much more, including takeaway if needed. Very child friendly and just good grub. Also well behaved dogs welcome, so no dogs left in the car!

Can not fault the food, the service, or the price. Real wholesome homemade meals. There is plenty of it at affordable prices. The staff are friendly, witty, and helpful. Highly recommend the cafe. We use it often.

The food was good, but the prices! This ended up being an expensive breakfast at a cafe for us. £19.70 for 2 sandwiches, a tea and a small orange juice. I couldn't quite understand how it worked out to be so much but then realised the charge for additional items is alot. I had a bacon, sausage and cheese sandwich. To which I was asked if I wanted 2 bacon, 1 sausage and cheese. Not realising, but assume I was charged extra for the '2nd bacon'. I understood the cheese was extra but extras are steep! If I was ordering a bacon sandwich, what would I get, 1 piece of bacon... £1.95 for a sausage or piece of bacon. £4.20 for a fried egg sandwich and nearly £5 for chips. Steep prices for 'extras'

This is a small cafe on the market car park next to the old Cattle market however does good quality food, Nice breakfasts and takes card as payment also so all good. It opens up at around 08.30am until about 2pm ish.... Prices are good and it does get busy

Just back from a huge, amazing breakfast! 6 of us walked in 20 minutes before they closed and we were made to feel so welcome. Service was brilliant and food was so hot and tasted awesome! Staff were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Thanks so much guys we will definitely be returning :)

It's a cafe. With kind, friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. I've only tried the breakfasts so far, and have i enjoyed them. Reasonable prices and a good selection. 😀😀

The best breakfast you'll get for the money. Here on holiday and we normally shop around to trial different cafes and breakfasts. Not this time. We're confident we wouldn't find better than this so keep coming back. The market breakfast is amazing value for money. 3 bacon, 3 sausages, 2 hash browns, 2 fried eggs, mushrooms, toast, beans and 'tinned' tomatoes, not the usual half sliced grilled tomato rubbish. Always cooked to perfection, served on hot plates. All for £8!!! Good luck finding better! Dog friendly, always made to feel welcome. Nothing too much trouble. Often a full house with many returning locals. Toilets to rear, just ask first. Thank you for the lovely food, it makes a big part of our break. 🤗

It's unfortunate that I need to make this review as I had previously visited the cafe to purchase a cold drink on a few occasions and thought it was a well run establishment. I visited today with a friend, I ordered sausage and chips and my friend ordered a breakfast. The "sausages" were of the lowest quality you could imagine and were almost looking anemic, floppy and no crisp, not enjoyable, I doubt they contained much meat if any. The chips are the cheapest crinkle cut chips I've ever eaten, very basic from Aldi or Lidl. My friends egg on his breakfast had two strands of human hair (female), I approached the till area and made the staff aware of the issue and they stated they get it all the time and it's the egg apparently that has strands ..... Doesn't sound very professional and the standards very very low. Prices are astronomical for the quality served. Check my other reviews, I review restaurants etc and leave positive 5 star reviews.

First ever visit,would definitely use it again,a very clean and reasonably priced market cafe. Don't expect Gordon Blue and you won't be disappointed.

Good old fashioned cafe, tucked away in the Cattle Market car park. Only ever had breakfasts here but all freshly cooked, tasty & reasonably priced. Clean, with friendly staff & in my opinion, they serve much better breakfasts than the local Wetherspoons. Menus on tables, order at the counter, take your drink back to the table & your food will arrive shortly! Would recommend you give it a try - a little gem!

I come here weekly as I work nearby, I’ve lost count how many time I have been here and can safely say I have enjoyed every time I’ve eaten there breakfast, roast , etc all amazing. Staff are incredibly polite and friendly. Price and portion sizes are great too !! Recommend

Hi my wife and I visited this Gem this was our 2nd meal out in 2021 and first here.We both had the lovely cottage pie for lunch and the meal was of good value for your cash.Quite an extensive menu and choice of beverages good will call again.

This was the worst breakfast I’ve ever had . We came here because the reviews were fantastic.Food was all cooked in deep fat fryer.Fried bread was under cooked, not crispy but soggy, black pudding was about two inches thick and raw in the middle.If this is Cornwalls best breakfast I fill sorry for the locals.

The atmosphere was nice but cold. Liked the retro decor. The coffee and Bacon sarnie were okay, not great.

Not bad. The food was a bit too pricey for me. The staff are polite and there is lots of 60's literature to read, not to mention the music. Good place to go for a cuppa.

Really not open often enough for people to appreciate the excellent 60s atmosphere, lots of artefacts seems to be run as a hobby rather than a business

Un café compacto en el borde de la principal zona de compras, pero bien vale la pena mirar si era un adolescente en los 60 s, sí es que a mí! Hermoso, calurosa bienvenida, servicio rápido y una gran relación calidad-precio. Por supuesto, la gran sofá es los 60 objetos que incluye una gramola genuina llena de 45s de la época. Siempre me final poniendo más de lo que yo había planeado.
