51 s es un lugar único con tres áreas diferentes. Casi nos perdimos el restaurante del segundo piso y la zona del jardín, que es muy diferente al bar de la planta baja. Yo recomendaría ir arriba para algo un poco más acogedor. Tuvimos una persona muy amable nos sirvió y la comida era fantástica, hecha en un horno de leña. Bastante barato también. Como un "conocedor de pizza", puedo decir que la pizza fue posiblemente la mejor que he tenido en Bristol. El bar es muy divertido, en todos los sentidos, que quizás no sea para todos. Pero el piso de arriba ofrece algo un poco más alejado de la experiencia a pie de calle de otros lugares. Sin duda volveremos!

Acabo de leer algunas de las revisiones, y un par de personas dicen palabras en el sentido de que no hay mucho ambiente. . . . . . . . ¡De Verdad! . . . . . . . ¿No estás destinado a revisar un restaurante en su comida y servicio? De todas formas . . . . . . ¡aquí vamos! La comida y el servicio son geniales. Ahora que fue fácil. Para agregar a eso, me gustaría decir que mi esposa y yo compartimos una pizza vegetariana, hamburguesa de setas portobello y papas fritas, y todo estaba muy rico. No somos vegetarianos, pero eso es lo que nos gustó. Notarás que tengo más o menos 130 reseñas en Tripadvisor, y solo he dado una calificación de 5 un par de veces. Aquí está otro ?

Nous y sommes allés un soir très calme. Pas grand monde en bas et personne en haut. Pas grave. Ils ont allumé les lumières pour nous et commencé le service. On a pu découvrir la superbe deco déglinguée du premier étage. On a mangé de très bonnes pizzas pas chers, bu une bonne bière et écouté de la bonne musique. Bref un super moment dans ce quartier branchouille et bobo.

Me di cuenta de que en el menu no tienen muchas pizzas mozzarella en su lista de ingredientes, así que pedí uno de los casos y me dijo fríamente que si no decir mozzarella en el menú, significa que no existe. Así que pedí mi 3ª opción sólo para asegurarse de conseguir algo de queso. Cuando las pizzas llegaron, mis amigos que tenía ordenados aquellos sin mozzarella en la lista de ingredientes de algo al final había ido por una mezcla de margherita, que era muy y el cocinero había sido muy tacaños con el queso. Una decepción!

A pedir por teléfono en una noche de martes. Personal muy amable y servicial. Listo en 5 minutos de llamada a recoger cuando llegué. Nos dieron un jamón y piña (de pino y porcina"") y tocino y champiñones (" y el bandido" de humo), y ambos eran totalmente delicioso. El restaurante para estar en, con una terraza exterior, un aspecto encantador. Sin duda volveremos la próxima vez que esté en Bristol! Gracias!

Pizzas are absolutely spot on for the money! Bristol has it's fair share of pizzerias, most of which charge an extortionate price. No.51 serves brilliant quality at a decent price, I'd say they give Flour & Ash a run for their money. Also great on Deliveroo!

Went here for friends birthday for pizza and drinks. Arrived at 8 so it was quiet. Staff were lovely very good service. Pizza was just average nothing wrong with it but nothing special. Was cold in there too.

Ce pub nous a été conseillé par une étudiante française qui vit à Bristol. Nous y sommes tombées par hasard en après-midi et l'avons essayé. L'ambiance le soir doit être bien différente, mais elle nous a totalement convenu pour notre apéro avancé. Le lieu est orignal et accueillant. La serveuse à été charmante et de bons conseils pour les boissons. Le bar offre quelques choix de bières et cidres pression. Il faudra le tester en soirée, mais n'hésitez pas à y entrer si vous passez devant.

We called in for pizza and a drink on the way home. First time we've eaten there and we were impressed with the pizzas and the service. Very friendly chap behind the bar, made us feel welcome. Letting the place down was the sticky tables and the stinky toilets. Good value food at two for £12 on Sunday.

Firstly, I will say that this place has the best pizza I have ever had in my life. Everything is made at the venue and the variety of flavours make for an amazing experience. Personally, my all time favourite is the christmas special roast dinner pizza; a combination of turkey, bacon, sausage, stuffing and sage leaves (may be other things too but I can't quite remember!) if it is on the menu, I would strongly recommend you give it a try! The place itself offers seating both downstairs, upstairs and outside, and is an extremely cosy and quirky place which, in my opinion, captures the essence of Bristol. All the staff are extremely friendly, and I've never had to wait too long for food. As well as this, they offer various deals - both student deals and others - making it completely affordable. They also have various live music and other events; one of my particular favourites being the 'hangover club', where on one Sunday a month they show three films and offer pizza deals, and everyone is encouraged to wear their pyjamas and bring duvets! Truly a remarkably great place. Definitely worth a visit.

We ate in the bar area as the restaurant was full with a christmas party. The staff were very friendly, but the bar area wasn't particularly nice for eating. It was very sticky, absolutely stank of alcohol, the toilets were a bit smelly and there was a very drunk man hanging about who should probably have been asked to leave long before. Unfortunately my coke was watered down and not very nice at all. That said the pizza was excellent, and my veggie burger was great. The portions were large, and the side salad was really fresh. All in all, a mixed bag! Perhaps make sure to book in the restaurant area if you are planning a visit for pizza!

I come often to the 51 on a Sunday night to eat pizza. This is the best pizza place you can find in town, personnel is very nice and the '2 pizzas for 12£' is very honest.

Pizza was nice but the edges were bit burnt. Anyway I score 4/5 because it was really tasty food. There are heaters on the garden so if you will get cold you won't :-D enjoy

We were looking for a good value meal on stokes croft, one pizza would not have been enough, so the two for £12 offer looked great. We went in and waited whilst the bar woman continued talking to her friends before reluctantly taking our order, and after handing the money over, we realised the offer hadn't gone through. When we reminded the staff that it was 2 for £12, she walked off for around 5 minutes and then resumed to put the order through as it was, telling us that the offer was only until 4, by this time it was 16:02. Despite the false promises, the pizzas and cider were nice but not worth the rude service.

We went in on a quiet day and had 3 pizzas to share between 5, plus 2 potions of fries. I enjoyed the pizza I had but thought the toppings were sparing and the squash undercooked. My friend got a pizza That was vegan, it left a lot to the imagination, perhaps they could work on a decent vegan pizza and base, especially considering the price per pizza. The beers we had where excellent, and the Sweet potato fries were delicious and crispy. Great staff and atmosphere.

There are 2 entrances - the front in the evening and the back entrance for day time. If you visit in the evening and are just passing all you see is a big open bar with a couple of bouncers on the door. Go in and upstairs and you find a cosy dining/ sitting room with an outside garden. Really worth the visit and try a pizza there are always good.

Surprisingly good pizzas with interesting ingrediants. I had sausage and fennel from the specials menu. Very good price for an excellent pizza. Service was fine (it's more of a bar/venue than a restaurant so no table service). Looking forward to going again.

Have visited this place twice.First time I ordered and paid for my pizzas (2 for £12 admittedly great - though I was charged £1.50 without being told for a GF base) but was told after waiting ten minutes that there was no GF dough left so I couldn't actually have mine. Asked for a refund and left.Second time had marginally more luck, I did get a GF pizza but the waitresses mixed up our orders so my pizza had the toppings meant for my boyfriends regular base pizza. DOH. Annoying but to be fair they kindly refunded me, and the goats cheese and squash pizza I ended up eating was nice and remarkably nice for GF!Aside from this, pretty interior and nice atmosphere. Would return when in the mood for a pizza :)

Very authentic thin pizzas with excellent tasty and quality toppings. Great value. The burgers were pretty good too and the sweet potato chips were well seasoned. Staff were kind and the outside courtyard was ideal for the children to have a little space to play when we were waiting for the food to arrive. Don't be put off when you enter from the main road, it looks a bit of dive but it's much better upstairs in the restaurant.

We really enjoyed our Sunday lunch, everything was cooked well and reasonably priced. The brownie and rhubarb crumble were delicious. The atmosphere was casual and relaxed so we felt we could enjoy our lunch in peace. Service was efficient and friendly. The only let down was that our bottle of wine wasn't chilled. We will be returning!

I've been here a few times. There's a restaurant upstairs and a bar downstairs so it tends to attract a young crowd but I'd still feel fine bringing my mum for an earlier dinner or lunch. A short menu of pizza and burgers, all decent prices. The pizza are cooked in a proper pizza oven, they're thin and topped heavily just as I like them- they even did gluten free for one of my friends :) I was planning on having a leaving do there but got sick and had to cancel it. There response was what made me want to write this review- not only have the staff been a nice, chilled out bunch when I've visited before, they were really nice about me having to cancel pretty late. Oh, and I a had a chocolate dessert there which was delicious. Recommended.
