Most DISGUSTING customer service experience I have ever had. We travelled an hour and a half to go to 202 for my friends 21st birthday for bottomless brunch. We ordered one round of drinks and when the waitress came back we asked her how the bottomless brunch worked - basically just to confirm that all the drinks on the menu were included. She then informed us they no longer do bottomless brunch. We had not been notified of this whatsoever and apparently they stopped doing it even before we booked it, yet they never removed the option to book for it from their website at that time. They said there was nothing they could do about it and we said we booked for a bottomless brunch for £30 per person and they should honour that. They then said all they could offer is 1 free round of shots which is not good enough. We asked to speak to someone higher up and a vile woman from the kitchen, came to our table and got into a very heated argument with our friend. She was flinging her arms, told her to shut up & said she would happily ‘take this outside’. She proceeded to shout in my friends face, this was such an intimidating experience to the point I actually thought she was going to go for my friend in the middle of the restaurant. She said she didn’t care and that we should be paying full price even though that’s not what we booked for. I have never witnessed such an UNPROFESSIONAL, disgusting and ATROCIOUS behaviour within customer service in my life. The lady who did this was one of the so called owners of the premises however it seemed to us they just picked the most confrontational person from the kitchen to come out (as they said their actual manager was on holiday) and just said she was an owner, because after her unacceptable attitude, physical presentation and bad mouth I refuse to believe she could be in a profession where she runs a business. She was implying she wanted to fight my friend so we wanted to leave the premises asap, we felt overwhelmed and unsafe so we all proceeded to leave before this got any more out of hand and the lady stood at the door with a security guard and wouldn’t let us leave until we paid for the one round of drinks we had. We did not want to give them any money for the terrible service we had had, but we paid because the lady was getting in our faces, she was nothing but a bully. She completely ruined our friends 21st birthday. The place was dirty, grubby and grotty, all they want is your money they have no consideration for customers at all! I would never ever recommend anyone to go there.

I found the waiters rude and none attentive. Drinks were very slushy. The atmosphere was very plastic and cheap like. Won’t be coming back

Booking was cancelled with no notice. Sign on door saying it was temporarily closed despite a confirmation email the day before. Couldn’t get in anywhere else as it was a Saturday night in Manchester. Ruined our night. Don’t go here as they can’t be trusted.

Absolutely shocking, my best friend had booked her birthday meal here for yesterday months ago.. got a confirmation email the day before we were meant to go saying are you still going ahead with your booking, obviously we replied with yes to get there at our booking time to see a sign on the door that they are temporarily closed! Absolutely disgusting after paying for transport to get there and then taxis being left with no where to go as it was a Friday night and places were only accepting bookings. Looking at previous reviews it looks like it isn’t just us that this has happened to. Do not recommend, extremely disappointed with 202’s customer service.

If I could give 0 stars I would! After having a table booked at 202 for MONTHS and a confirmation of that booking, myself and 3 friends travelled over 4 hours to Manchester for a big birthday. Paid for hotel outfits etc etc called the restaurant to let them know we would be 5 mins late and were told that our booking was cancelled 2 days before because of an event and that we would have gotten an email to state this. Low and behold, no email to say it was cancelled and it seems that they have told multiple people different lies about what was happening and the reason for cancelling their bookings last minute. Imagine trying to find another restaurant for dinner at 8pm On a Saturday night in the city centre! So disappointed as the birthday girl had been looking forward to going for so long to just be let down last minute.

It's first time been in and ordered burgers meals takeaway, the guy who i ordered with i gave him 5 star he was very polite and friendly and helpful, the rasturant was impressed very well done, and of course its been a very looked after and its clean. The burgers really so delicious and definitely deferent than others burgers places so far to me it's the best burger I ever had to be honest, and i would give them 5 star if not took so long to get my order and plus they forgot the chips with each meal which is was 5 meals in total so I came home and my kids were very disappointed and not happy because no chips. I didn't mind the high price but at least make it right for what are u charging this price for then!!?, I called the shop to explain they were very sorry and apologisd but they said we can't do anything about it and we are closeing now which was about 6:30 pm or 7, anyway just called to let them know that they should deliver me the chips but obviously i felt they wanted just to apologise and that's it. I think i should get full refund because they destroyed my family and children enjoyment and dinner time. So 3 star for that reason and I will try to make sure next time if will go back again to check my order before I leave which shouldn't be my problem, because i trusted them.

I ordered the Fat Hippo burger and the slaw. The burger is significantly smaller than what the picture presents. In fact it's barely larger than a McDonald's burger. The slaw was heavily salted and barely edible. However, not only is the food overpriced and poor value for money. The delivery driver didn't even come to my door! He waited at the street, and wouldn't budge.
