Nice atmosphere very busy nicely decorated had cappuccino hubby had sticky toffee biscoff I had carrot cake spotless staff lovely

We just popped in for a takeaway coffee, and be warned that if you're in a hurry, you won't get your coffee quickly. I was very disappointed in the visit we had recently, as the coffee is really good, and better than most of the other options at the Designer Outlet, but we were waiting for our order, and without realising, another lady took my husband's coffee. When I raised this with the barista, she got very defensive and claimed she'd already made all the coffees, and we should have it. Then why don't I? I explained that another lady took ours in error, so there should still be a flat white to come? While the lady at the till was lovely, the barista still seemed very rude to me for just pointing out that a coffee had been missed. It was like she didn't even want to be there. Because of her behaviour, it really put a dampener on the rest of our afternoon. Normally I don't write negative reviews, but this time I feel it's worth mentioning as sometimes, it feels that with the service, it's either really good or really bad. I'm just really disappointed that today we got the bad service and it makes me not want to return.

Really pleased to find this 200degrees at the Designer Outlet - as have previously been to the cafe in York centre. Very good coffee with an impressive number of ways of being served. A range of cakes & sandwiches were available- looked lovely but we didn’t try. Am definitely going back again ……

Call in for a quick coffee as it smelt lovely, how wrong was I . Ordered my takeaway coffee and was told to wait at the end of the counter, then was very rude told by a member of staff to move so as requested I move then a takeaway coffee was shouted out so I asked if that was mine as it wasn’t what I’d ordered and again a very rude young woman rolled her eyes and checked the ticket and did something else. She then gave me the coffee I had ordered she said but it was just the one she had made earlier that was wrong by this time the Wrong coffee was cold!!!! My husband took it back to her and asked if he could have a HOT coffee and it was snatched from him and redone …….wouldn’t go back , absolutely awful…

After visiting this establishment I was left in distress and will never step foot in this place again. I would advise you to avoid visiting because they have no public protection policy in place. Young waitress spilt a large amount of coffee on my wool coat. When I stood up there were still puddles of it on my chair. The assistant manager did not come over so I went to him and asked if they would pay for dry cleaning bill. I felt so disrespected as he didn't even stop doing the task in hand while he was talking to me. He said they can't give me money for dry clean as cashless venue. I offered bank details but he said no. I asked to see the manager but told he wasn't in. His manner was so flippant and uninterested so my husband and I had to just walk away with wet coat. This young man definitely needs training in customer service. For all these reasons I would stay away.

On a visit to the outlet we decided to stop here for a snack and drink. Not too busy but it took ages to get served due to some indecision from the customer in front of us. The sausage roll and pain au chocolat were delicious and the coffee was good too. Quite expensive

After a meal at Pizza Express and a look round the Designer Outlet we went for a drink in 200degrees. Lovely ambience, nice drinks and very relaxing.

10 minutes for drinks and food didn't arrive at all until I chased it up at the counter after 20 minutes. The place wasn't even very busy. Asked for fresh drinks to go with the food but they never arrived. Go elsewhere but if you must eat here I advise against using the app!

I do enjoy 200 Degrees, their coffee is always freshly made and not burnt like many offerings. The staff are friendly and the app means that if you were to want to get another round in you can do that without leaving the conversation!

Hurrah for the app! Take a seat... place an order ... well made coffee and delicious cakes arrive at your table. No queuing up, squinting at board in the distance, no shouting your order over the noise of a blender whilst trying not to lean on the biscotti. An actual coffee "break" a rest... enjoyable! Bravo!!!! PS. The rhubarb blondie is worth every calorie .... fresh and delicious!

First of all I would like to point out my husband went to the counter. Had I been, I wouldn’t be writing this. The 2 coffees we received were £7.00. Ok, more expensive than I would normally pay but that’s not the reason for our dissatisfaction. It was the fact that when we received our drinks they were in takeaway cups. They explained that there was only 2 members of staff. As there could have been no more than 8 people in the coffee shop, I’m not sure how that made a difference. The room itself was a mess, the tables had not been cleared. Chairs were not pushed back etc. There was a definite lack of pride in the room. I quickly realised that no teaspoons had been delivered with the coffee. Not a problem so I went to the counter. I then had to wait for the 2 staff members to finish their conversation. Maybe had they stopped talking about their social lives things would have been done. I returned to our table and drank my coffee. The coffee itself was fine. Nothing else. Just fine. Before we left I visited the toilet. I wish I hadn’t bothered. The bin was overflowing with used hand towels. When I say overflowing it actually stood over the toilet height. The room, sink and toilet were filthy. I couldn’t get out quickly enough. I was pleased that we were going straight home, as it meant I could wash my hands again. We have both agreed that we will never darken this place again.
