Very good service attitude, patient answers to questions, the taste of the meal is just right! Except for a little bit less pig hooves😀😀

Food is great, price is a bit too much, all you can eat system is a bit slow.

Unfortunately I am forced to leave 1star as there is no option for zero or negative. Food arrived an hour later than advised, even though the app was showing delivered. It was cold and gloopy. Tried 15 times to call the restaurant, but the phone must have been taken off the hook. Won't be using again.

Don't normally do reviews but I felt compelled to do this one. Ordered spicy salt and chilli squid, honestly it was disgusting. The batter was soggy and it tasted like raw flour totally unacceptable. On a whole the other dishes was not good i.e. nothing special. Would not recommend.

Service was very poor. There was 4 of us and only three of us got our meal. One had to re-order so that was another half hour wait. Would not recommend this restaurant

Wow. Had our meal delivered took an hour but so worth it. Very hot still. Pork falling off the bone. Crispy batter. Will recommend to my friends.

I have been here a few times with my family, and the staff here are so accommodating and friendly. I honestly cannot fault their service, and the food here is amazing. If I could recommend any dish it would have to be the pork dumplings! Good prices for the quality of the food, and a nice place to go with groups. I highly recommend.

The food ia sh’t ! Fake chicken meat and fake beef meat ! It doesn t worth your money it taste like plastic ! Good luck if you want to go to hospital !!!

The food is excellent. Have been many times at it has always been good. But. The last time I went was on a Friday and it was busy. Although the food was as good as ever, I did get the feeling we were being rushed. Our starters and mains all came out at the same time, and the waitress attempted to take my plate before I had finished. Half the dinner was still on the plate and I was obviously still eating! She did apologise. I would normally give five stars for this place.

Twice we have been here online says it opens at 12 for lunch but they never open til 12.45ish, also the cleaners still there. Today took the biscuit, staff never turned up til 12.40 chairs still on the table, no cleaner in sight, we called to ask if they were gona open today, the staff then opened the door to say they needed minimum of 20 minutes more, then shut the door on us while it was pooing in rain, why put a time you are opening if ya not gona do it, rudeness as well.

Beef noodle soup contained meat that was decidedly off. Crispy duck pancakes served with cold pancakes. Not good.

Came to visit friends and found this Amazing portion of noodles. The service is great too

I was impressed from the Hot Pot, the best one in Portsmouth. Very good soup and big portions as well, as the asian standard requires.

Very good food and good service

Tried both of the hotpot places in Portsmouth within the last 3 weeks. My family and I prefer this one over the other one which is on the other end of the road. There are more choices at the other one but quality at this one is slightly better. Also we think the spicy soup base is too spicy for our liking.

Update: Twins used to be pretty good but is now going downhill. Char Siu tasted like old leather drenched in pancake syrup. I informed that this dish was particularly bad (indicating I didn't want to pay for it, or wanted at least a discount) but staff acted as though they couldn't have cared less. I should have borne in mind that this was the very same restaurant in which the manager hid in the toilet when the health inspector came-a-calling ;-) It may well have changed hands again since then, however. <strike>I need to write some positive reviews to balance out my negative ones ;-) This Twins is pretty good, and pretty consistent food-wise, and is my daughter's favourite restauant. Furnishing's pretty good; comfortable. Management's friendly but the staff are a bit indifferent. Comparing this to the Korean Barbeque down the road... well you can tell they're not 'identical twins'</strike>

The food is not great. The service is also lacking. The interior is nice and seating comfortable but most times it is too quiet to have a good atmosphere.

Great hot pot, however everyone seemed just slightly confused.. Didn't massively impact the evening though as we just went with it and had a fantastic meal!

Was a Great Chinese but on last two visits Service was very very poor. Meals cold which had to send back to warm up. No follow ups on drinks or how’s your meal !!!! It appears previous manager/owner as left. He was great friendly and chatty and on the ball. Now rubbish. Visiting Daughter this weekend so will try once more in case it was just a hitch. Hope so.

Waiting staff slow. Had to ask if we could have drinks. My chicken was not cooked and did not receive an apology. I was just told 'well it was cooked in a wok' My friends were disappointed with the service. Would not visit again.

Excellent hot pot. Not especially cheap, but authentic and very tasty.

Food was great hot and tasty! Very good. Service could have been better but I understood this was because the waitress was learning on the job. Allowed us to take away what we couldn’t eat and boxed it for us. Highly recommend.

Usually renowned for hotpot , but me and my partner went for separate veggie dishes, and tasted amazing! We ordered two vegetables dishes, full of flavour, not over powering, good size portions. Will come again at some point!

The all you can eat was low quality, the bbq ribs was cooked in daddys brown sauce or something because my eyes watered when eating it, staff were cold and unfriendly, the sweet and sour sauce was neon would not recommend

1 waiter for a booking of 25 people plus others in restaurant we were booked for 7.45 and came out at just after 11! 1. No good calling in more staff after order taken. 2. Didn't really think All you could eat was good price for groups of even 8, I noticed a table of 2 next to us had more duck than for 6 of us! 3. The biggest fault for me was NO disabled toilet my son had to take me up a windy steep staircase and i was helped down by him and his stepdaughter. I thought it was legal to have one now. When i asked the manager she was looking out the window to tell me where she could send me!

We went for the buffet and it was great. We were extremely satisfied!!! It was only 4 of us in the restaurant though. Lots of people did come to grab takeaways.

I don't normally review or rate anything , I leave it to readers of the daily mail.But here I am typing away 😁 We dropped in there by off chance while in Pompy and been a great lover of oriental food gave it a go.Awesome food friendly service relaxed surroundings and such a selection of dishes made it a cracking evening. So much so I'm going to take my lad tonight who's inherited the same love of oriebtal cuisine as myself to have another go 😁 As a footnote they do an alternative menu which I was fascinated by watching other people cooking their own food at the table. If I'm brave I may hit that menu tonight 😁

Having grown up in a catering and hospitality environment (Family & Qualified as a chef) I often go out and unfortunately spot something to comment on (usually negatively); today my best friend, his girlfriend and myself spontaneously popped into Twins. We decided on the "all you can eat" buffet for £18.90 each - my best friend is the "typical Brit" where he will go out and order the same thing that is the safe bet; today with the buffet his girlfriend and I convinced him to try other dishes as it was a single inclusive price with accommodating portions. We were successful in broadening his pallette and increasing his difficulties in choosing a single dish in the future. The food was colourful, succulent and flavourful, the portions were excellent for the three of us to share. The restaurant as seen in the photographs is presented well in a blend of modern and traditional Chinese styling that was clean, elegant and welcoming - we were pleasantly greeted with a welcoming atmosphere and excellent customer service, the dinner was finished off with slices of oranges, lemon hand towels and a humbug mint. We are already planning our next visit this time with my partner too, simply outstanding!

Amazing find. Go for the £18.90 all you can eat. Tender crispy duck and lamb. Plump mussels and king prawns. Very good vegetable and tofu. Best flavours, reminiscent of Guangzhou. When in Portsmouth this is the place to go. Shame we live in London!
