Blas at Fronlas

Newport, Pembrokeshire, 20-30£
08/03/2019: Six of us blew in on a rain soddened gale for afternoon tea. Lovely friendly service and all of us enjoyed what we received.
04/03/2019: It's getting too busy - and rightly so! Hearty, healthy fare - a wide choice of food including vegetarian. Good just for tea and cake as well as meals. Can sit with dogs at the outside tables, I believe.

Amroth Arms Restuarant

Amroth, Pembrokeshire, <20£
08/03/2019: Came here for Sunday lunch on recommendation and we where not disappointed food was top notch, there was a choice of three meats & seasonal vegetables, We chose the lamb which was really tender we also chose to add a Yorkshire pudding which was extra ( comes with beef ) next time we will get one to share as the are very large , having said that they are clearly homemade and very tasty , price was ver reasonable and will will be returning , if th ere is any criticism of this place it is that there is a portch entrance and they should make use of it an NOT have the first door wedged open as each time someone walks in you get a very cold draft which can also make your food cool especially on a windy day like we had .
03/03/2019: Excellent Sunday lunch in this very friendly and welcoming pub. In fact, it’s one of the best lunches I have ever had. We will be back!

Ocean Restaurant

Tenby: South, Pembrokeshire, 20-30£
22/02/2019: Due to the building being sold recently, I have sadly discovered that our favourite restaurant in Tenby is no more. I’d like to wish all the members of staff that always made our visits very memorable, our best wishes and good luck in any future ventures. My family and I will miss you so much. Best food in Tenby bar none! Hope you can find new premises to start again. Tenby won’t be the same without The Ocean Restaurant #sad
12/02/2019: Really great welcome fabulous menu food is as described can’t fault it will definitely return Staff were attentive and seemed genuinely interested in how we enjoyed food

Top Joes

Tenby: South, Pembrokeshire
25/02/2019: Pizza was the best we've ever had. Maria was so lovely, making sure everyone was happy and very attentive.
23/02/2019: Arrived in Tenby for our getaway with an open minded view on what to eat for tea. Walked up and down the streets and saw this packed out pizza and pasta restaurant. As soon as we opened the door a waitress welcomed us and sat us down at a table. Got us a jug of water and left us to decide on what to eat. We decided a pepperoni pizza with garlic bread to share. Pepperoni pizza had pepperoni, salami and a type of sausage. Garlic bread had a garlic puree with mozzarella. All delicious. Meal was reasonably priced and food was gorgeous. Would definitely recommend.

The Forest Arms

Llanegwad, Carmarthenshire
18/03/2019: The food was good and there was plenty. The only downside was that although we had booked the gentleman that greeted and served us was adamant that we hadn't. He was rude and his attitude was that we shouldn't have been there which made the dining experience uncomfortable.
13/03/2019: We stopped in for a quick mid week pub lunch while on holiday in the area. Great food, good wine list and a lovely local beer on tap. And a warm welcome for us and our dog just to top off the experience. Highly recommended!

Tenby: South, Pembrokeshire
08/03/2019: Visited last night with a group of colleagues. I had a Shashlik which was fab. It arrived sizzling, wasn’t greasy and tasted great. The restaurant is decorated to a high standard with a great atmosphere. Staff were attentive too. I would highly recommend.
06/03/2019: A group of us were travelling down late for the weekend and we all fancied a takeaway instead of dining out after a long drive. After reading the fantastic reviews we decided to place our order just before arriving in Tenby. Despite the entrance, once we were down in the restaurant we were greeted by a friendly waitress and our collection was ready for us.

Sue's pantry saundersfoot

Saundersfoot, Pembrokeshire
10/03/2019: Situated in a delightful little street, Sue’s pantry is a delight, and I defy anyone to look at the stunning cakes and cupcakes on display and not go in. Absolutely fabulous stuff!
09/03/2019: When we’re in saundersfoot which is often you can’t go without getting some scrumptious cakes and very reasonably priced, just going to ring and order a Victoria sandwich to take home . Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for that something extra

The Golden Lion

Newport, Pembrokeshire
13/03/2019: Stayed here for three nights -- rooms comfortable & well-furnished, excellent shower. Breakfasts are freshly-cooked to order & well-presented -- bacon is particularly good. Restaurant menu is varied & reasonably-priced. Staff friendly & attentive.
08/03/2019: First visit to the Golden Lion, and was not disappointed. Cod and chips, lamb burger and cottage pie were all excellent, although not the cheapest.

The Mill

Llanrhian, Pembrokeshire

13/03/2019: Well worth a visit, pleasant staff, delicious coffee and range of cake's. A welcome for all including our dog. They also have a wide range of unusual items in the beach shop. Thank you staff.
17/11/2018: Lovely little tea room full of character and charm, friendly staff and a breakfast that’s fresh, hot and filling definitely recommend we love it 😍

Carmarthen Town South, Carmarthenshire
15/03/2019: Firstly, we were given Diet Coke which was 2 months out of date (Always check the bottles of soft drink!) Then, the waiter spilt the flower vase water all over the floor, all over my friends shoes and in my friends bag. Next, it took a while for them to actually take our food order. The quality of the food was very good. However, it isn’t very nice being watched constantly over your shoulder while eating the food. The staff were rather patronising and also judgemental when we tried speaking names of food from the menu. A staff member offered us a box for our left over pizza, which was kind. However after saying yes, another waiter came and stacked the plates with the Pizza on, squishing the pizza inbetween the plates. He then said it wasn’t his fault because he “didn’t know” after we told him we were going to keep the leftovers. The staff seemed very stressed and as if they didn’t cope on a busy Friday evening.
11/03/2019: Warm and friendly wellcome, I booked the table last minute and Market reserved me a table and even happily tuck a birthday balloon and put it at the table ready for when we arrived. Costa was our waiter and he was so funny and entertaining and a total gentleman. The food was cooked to perfection i keep coming back here as it's always an amazing experience. Thank you to all the wonderful staff at florentinos keep being lovely will be back to visit soon.

Tenby: South, Pembrokeshire
15/03/2019: Chose this restaurant to celebrate a family members birthday. Everything about this restaurant was perfect. The atmopshere and setting was wonderful. Can not speak more highly of the food, was tasty,
09/03/2019: Wanted something special for my husbands birthday and this was absolutely perfect. The setting and atmosphere was lovely and the food even better. Staff were extremely friendly and went over and above what you would expect in a good restaurant. We will definitely be returning with friends to show off our fantastic find in Tenby.

Saint Brides Inn

The Havens, Pembrokeshire, 20-30£
14/03/2019: The sign outside the pub says lunches served until 2pm. We arrived just before 2pm, so we were prepared for them to have stopped serving. However, they were very happy for us to come in for food. We were made to feel very welcome and the menu choice was excellent - tasty vegetarian options too. The restaurant is lovely and bright and had a friendly atmosphere. The food is home cooked and exceedingly good (generous portions too!).
13/03/2019: We ate here on the first night of our break after a long drive. Did book before we travelled which was good because it was busy. Lovely warm welcome, attentive service and excellent meal. Calamari starters and three fish roast and sea bass for mains. All served promptly which suited tired travellers. All you could wish for.

St. David's, Pembrokeshire, 30-45£
10/03/2019: What a lovely welcome from all the staff who were smiley and friendly, attentive but unfussy, adding to a lovely atmosphere. Good music which you could actually hear but without it being too imposing ✅.
05/03/2019: This is a must visit if you are in st David’s, there is nothing quite like it in the area. The starters were tasty and both of us had the duo of lamb - we both agreed we have never had lamb quite like it, absolutely delicious and completely melt in the mouth! The service was quick and the atmosphere was lovely and relaxing. Definitely recommend, stunning, proper quality food and we will be returning ! Compliments to the chef and the whole team.

Boars Head

Narberth Rural, Pembrokeshire, 20-30£
18/03/2019: No enthusiasm from the staff, didn't even ask if the meal was fine, wouldn't visit again, much nicer friendly places in the area.
17/03/2019: This is the first and only place we have ever come across that has a childrens play area. Don't get me wrong, it's not the biggest, but it's got one, and it's good for about 3 small families.
