Harbour Snack Bar

Tenby: South, Pembrokeshire
21/07/2019: We have love this little cafe for years. A good cuppa tea and coffee in a proper mug and sit on the bench taking in the views of the harbour. Where else in Tenby could you get a proper mug at £1 for a tea?
15/07/2019: Great coffee and sandwiches and spotlessly clean and very nice staff. Right next to the harbour and fast service. Thank you.

21/07/2019: Visited Saundersfoot on holiday a few weeks ago. Had evening meal at The Old Chemist Inn. Best to book as it can get very busy. The food was excellent but be warned the portions are huge.

The Ferryman

Laugharne Township, Carmarthenshire
21/07/2019: Had a lovely visit to this very well stocked deli...Lovely products and great customer service from Tom
14/07/2019: My partner had a tomato and basil soup which was served up with lovely bread and hunks of cheddar cheese. But the Club Sandwich was something else - a must eat choice. The chicken breast was served in ham, and the meal overall topped with a duck egg. I would definitely choose the club sandwich again.

Hope & Anchor

Tenby: South, Pembrokeshire
22/07/2019: Came here for lunch before heading home after a trip away, the food was lovely. The Tiger prawns were really nice and so was the burger I had. Excellent Seafood menu and a nice friendly pub atmosphere.
22/07/2019: Sat here one morning and had a couple of drinks in the outside area at the front and enjoyed people watching for for a good hour or so. Had a look at the food menu and decided to come back that evening. We both had fish tacos off the specials menu, wasn't what we were expecting but were pleasantly surprised, the flavours were great and was very inventive.

The Bishops

St. David's, Pembrokeshire
21/07/2019: You can tell a good place by the way they deal with a mistake - in this case ours. Needed to change an order..etc. Lady from the bar actually came to find us with the few pounds we were due back. Food was nice and the view from the terrace is fabulous.
17/07/2019: Right on the square of St David's the Cross Hotel has its own small car park and front seating areas with sun or shade where you can enjoy a meal, drink or as we did a cream tea. The scones were warm and fresh and it made a lovely memory sitting in the corner enjoying the sun. A pint of peroni is a bit expensive at £5.40. We did look at the evening menu but there wasn't anything we fancied. Worth a visit.

Red Lion Inn

St. Ishmael, Carmarthenshire
08/07/2019: We were staying locally for the weekend and wanted to find somewhere for Sunday lunch so looked on trip advisor and the red lion looked a good bet. Booked a table for 1pm. We were served quickly with drinks and the lady was very friendly. We were seated in a room just off the bar that had three other tables in it,all were full and there was a nice background of chatter.
08/07/2019: We were recommended to visit this pub/Restaurant by a very friendly man walking his dog,we were given directions and in the village we found the pub, very nice, clean and very friendly staff. We ordered our meals we had starters of prawn cocktail, whitebait, and cheesy ,ushrooms huge portions but very nice, followed by mains burger which was huge, beef strips in pepper sauce, and chicken breast in a creamy sauce all very nice. We looked at the pudding menu but we had to decline as so full but wish we could of had one as they looked very inviting. If that way again will defo go back,so we recommendvery highly.

The Cawdor Restaurant

Llandeilo, Carmarthenshire
19/07/2019: We stayed in Llandeilo for 2 nights. The first night we visited their bar area and sat inside at the sort of cafe/wine bar bit. Everyone else was outside or in the actual restaurant so we had the area to ourselves and the guy put on the Wimbledon semi final for us! Great food and friendly staff. We decided to come back the second night. It really cafe area was shut so we ate in the lounge area instead. The restaurant was busy and more formal if you want that, but we chose the bar area as it was so friendly and relaxed and much quieter.
16/07/2019: very good choice of wines by the glass in the bar , then after a while moved through to the dinning room , delightful welcome , interesting menu , fantastic bread .. the waitress even talked to the chef about cooking some salmon that was not on the menu ...that's excellent , my pate melted in the mouth , and the duck was superb ...my wife was delighted that her Crème Brulee was actually served warm ( unlike the trend to serve cold )….dinning room like the hotel is very clean , well decorated ...service was five star.....thoroughly recommend ….
