The best restaurants serving Thai food in Waverley South East

Veena's Kitchen had been recommended to me, I popped in for an eat in lunch one day whilst passing. So pleased I did, ordered Massaman curry and rice, the best I've had. Service was friendly and the place was very clean. In turn I would recommend to others to try. I will be returning to try something different.

Lemongrass is my new favourite place to go for good freshly made Thai food. We visited the place on Thursday night and place was quite busy. We had a lovely starters , prawn toast and veg spring rolls followed by Sweet and sour chicken and Thai Green curry with chicken with egg rice which I had 3 times this week:) It’s great place to eat or simply just call on the way back from work and food will be waiting for your:) We will definitely come back to dine in:)

Good food and service, but the Massaman curry was lacking in chicken and was like a thin soup. Otherwise the whole meal was good. But we only had a 2 hour slot in which to enjoy our food, it was a Friday evening. And they were fully booked. We will be back, but not the Massaman curry.

This review is regarding the Thai food takeaway, not the in-house service or drinks. First of all, the menu online does not accurately reflect the true prices of the meals! They are about £2 more expensive than it says online. Second, they made a mistake and gave us the wrong starter that three of us had ordered. The calamari was not great. I can forgive a wrong starter if it wasn’t for the incorrect prices. Regarding my order, the Tamarind duck was nice enough but very watery. However, my family said the noodle dishes were very nice so a mixed bag overall, they just need to update their prices and get the order right.
