Whenever I work in this area, I always go to Waterside Cafe on Redhill St Manchester 4. Appropriately named, this delightful, clean, welcoming cafe sits by the canal. Inside it is very clean with an extensive light meal/snack menu. There are deep settees to relax in or chairs and tables. People sit with their newspapers or laptops. The owners are so helpful, friendly and accommodating. My favourite thing is the goat's cheese panini which is really good quality. Go there, it's a lovely place.

Food was.. OK. It was reasonably tasty, and the prawns weren't overcooked. We got the 50 prawn platter, so didn't try a huge range of things. It was a decent amount of food between the 2 of us, but not too filling, expected the prawns to be slightly bigger. We ordered a sticky toffee pudding for dessert and it very much did not deliver. It felt more like a light sponge that had been soaked in a toffee sauce. When you order a sticky toffee pudding, you expect it to be quite dense, with a sticky sauce that makes it almost slightly chewy. We didn't get that at all. The dessert was poor, and what drags the overall rating down. Prawns were 4/5, pudding was 0/5 really.

Very expensive club. Spirits bottles over than £250. And customer service is a disaster. A girl at the bar told us in a rude way: " I am not taking your bottle to your table because I am not a table server!" We had to take the botlle and 7 glasses to the table. Disaster! Only good think is the security team and the music. Sorry for the posting but I am just being honest.
