The best restaurants serving Seafood food in Fylde North West

Never seen a chippy so busy and was no wonder as the fish & chips were first class.

I have been going to Dawsons Fish & Chips for 13 years and it is one of the best Fish & Chip shops I have ever been to. Friendly people, great service, great quality and value. Thank you for all the great lunch’s over the year’s, hopefully I will visit again if I’m in the area.

We have eaten at Whelan’s for many years and always tell friends and family to try it, as we have never had a bad meal there yet. Today as we were queuing for our fish and chips, a lady came in and said she found a large black hair in her rock hard chips that even her hungry kids had refused to eat them. I thought you always get one that wants to complain, but when ours came we took them outside as we always do . The chips were well under done and rock hard, and the fish was well under done and anaemic with no batter on at all. I went back and told them that the standards have dropped dramatically. and he offered to make me some more. It put us off and probably won’t go back.
