The best restaurants serving Seafood food in Fylde North West

We live locally to Catch, so use it regularly for a Fish Supper. We’ve always found it to be consistently good, excellent portion sizes, and the best prices in the area. Fish is freshly cooked to order, chips are just the right balance between soft inside and a slight crunch on the outside. In short, it’s everything you need in a fish and chip shop!

This was always the best chippy around however just been there and was absolutely horrified that sausage,chips and gravy is now £6.20 !!!!! And tbh the chips weren’t the best

We have eaten at Whelan’s for many years and always tell friends and family to try it, as we have never had a bad meal there yet. Today as we were queuing for our fish and chips, a lady came in and said she found a large black hair in her rock hard chips that even her hungry kids had refused to eat them. I thought you always get one that wants to complain, but when ours came we took them outside as we always do . The chips were well under done and rock hard, and the fish was well under done and anaemic with no batter on at all. I went back and told them that the standards have dropped dramatically. and he offered to make me some more. It put us off and probably won’t go back.
