The best restaurants serving Pizza pasta food in Sefton North West

Made an order for three pasta dishes and a garlic bread for delivery last night , only two turned up and dough balls ! Complained and received a £4 refund which was not even the difference between the meal and dough balls ! Portions were tiny and arrived cold . Had not used them in some time so obviously had gone badly downhill. A disgrace

We booked the function room at the Aigburth Arms for a class reunion, fifty years after we had left junior school. Everything that the Aigburth Arms had promised us was delivered with professionalism and efficiency. On the evening of the celebration, there was a further recap of timings eg chilled prosecco on bar at 6.45, food served at 7.45. All of the timings were adhered to without any prompting. The food was piping hot and tasty. I would have no hesitation in recommending the function room and it was extremely good value for money. Thank you to everyone at the Aigburth Arms.

Visited the hillside venue. Was great value for money. Made fresh pizza was delightful & very tasty. Staff were friendly & attentive.

Can’t complain about this place very nice bloke owns it and always cooks quality food and it’s becoming a regular trip!!

Came to Il Capitanos for my 30th birthday and it was great. There were 25 of us and Grace, Shannon, Chris, Diana and Kenny couldn’t have been more accommodating. A brilliant afternoon with great food and drink. Thank you!

When it comes to mixed kebabs, these guys pull them right out of the top drawer! Very good portions too!!!!

It's quite expensive for what you get.But I suppose most places are like that of the moment. The food is pretty decent , but not anything special.

Ordered a FAMILY DEAL, got mugged off with 2 pizzas. Absolutely crap. Food came cold. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO MY WORST ENEMY!!!

Pizzas are delicious, love the garlic Parmesan fries too!

9 of us went today to celebrate a friend's birthday we are all 60+ and non of us has ever encountered such a rude person. Her first remark was to snidely say " suppose you'll all be wanting separate bills!" Er No we have one bill which we split....I joked that we obviously would all be using the senior discount on food which got the haughty response of " I know my job". After a further flurry of her rudeness we all got up and left went around the corner to Kinsley's which was wonderful Unless you enjoy appalling customer service do not go here when this women is working No wonder the place was empty

Pizza wasn’t great at all. We stoped ordering chips and burgers from them as the quality has massively fallen. Pizza was usually ok. But last order was awful. So greasy and sloppy. Couldn’t even pick up a slice. Taste wasn’t good either.

put garlic mayo all over my child’s burger !! said I asked for it when I don’t even like it !!!! wasn’t even prepared to change it will never order again.

Terrible food. All the kebabs were put into tortilla wraps with a bare hand previously dipped in mayonnaise. We asked for a refund, but the owner threw the kebabs into a bin and told us there was no refund of food with a disgusting smile on his face. Stay away.

Absolutely brilliant experience. Very polite staff and lovely family owner business. I did not have a booking however was warmly greeted from the beginning. Personally, I am gluten free and find it hard to eat at restaurants as they are not very considerate of my preferences. However, this time everything went smoothly as I was immediately presented with a list of alternative options for my allergy and the food was divine as expected. The penne al pollo was an 11/10 and the chocolate Eton mess was perfect! I got the Merlot which was precisely poured for me ; it was rich and smooth. Will never forget this fabulous little Italian restaurant.
