Franchetti’s in Sefton

Made an order for three pasta dishes and a garlic bread for delivery last night , only two turned up and dough balls ! Complained and received a £4 refund which was not even the difference between the meal and dough balls ! Portions were tiny and arrived cold . Had not used them in some time so obviously had gone badly downhill. A disgrace

First visit definitely won’t be our last all 6 of us enjoyed it , the cheesy garlic bread was delicious, as where our mains , traditional Italian 🇮🇹 with fantastic staff , Angelo and his wife Paola where so welcoming … five stars 🌟

This place is a litte hidden gem! Went for late lunch with my wife. The place is stunning, amazing food, freshly made panini, very good coffee, and the pizza just wow. The best Italian meal we have had in years! Excellent staff, very friendly and attentive. Amazing experience. Highly recommended, Will be back

What can I say, amazing food and lovely service. It was the best burrata I have ever had. Truffle fries to die for and the carbonara was fantastic aswel as all the pizzas,Highly recommend this lovely place. It was all delicious, can’t wait to be back.xxx

Cant fault one bit service excellent and the food was fantastic 100% recommended. I was full and wanted to keep eating everything it was so good.

The above has been taken over recently by a young couple from Napoli, I had the pleasure of having lunch there on Saturday with a friend. The people are so friendly and welcoming. The food and drinks are delicious, very reasonable and the place is spotless. I will be going again on Friday with a different friend as I was so impressed.

Had a really nice full English breakfast at Francetti's after they now open for breakfast. A good few variations aswell on the menu including veggie. This place is more known for its fresh pizza but the guy cooking the breakfast got it spot on. Really friendly couple who served us. I'd recommend this restaurant as it was spotless and I'm quite fussy where I eat.

Excellent for pizzas. Good choice, fresh ingredients. Suspect most of the restaurant’s business is takeaway but we enjoyed our evening there and the service was friendly and efficient.

We had another fantastic meal at Franchetti’s last week, well worth a visit if you’re looking for authentic Italian food. Pizza was spot on and the lasagna was delicious… Great service, great wine, great night. We will definitely be back!

Perfect location to meet with family on a hot evening with doors opened wide to the outside patio. Service was welcoming and friendly. We all ordered pizzas, which were delicious. I would definitely return here and recommend it as a place for all ages to meet up.

Ordered from Franchetti’s a few times and it’s always been lovely! The chips and lasagna are really good! Friendly staff, delicious food :)

This is the second time ordering a takeout from these guys! The first time they got the pizza toppings completely wrong but I thought I’d give them the benefit of doubt and order again. Last night we ordered two pizzas, two portion of truffle fries and a carbonara. The chips didn’t arrive and when we rang up to tell them, they acted like it was an inconvenience to bring them back out. Disappointed there wasn’t much of an apology. We waited for the chips to come with our meal after he said they would bring them back straight away. 45 minutes later they arrived so all the food was cold! The carbonara had 2 tiny pieces of pancetta in it! It was so dry, tiny portion and for restaurant prices it’s completely unacceptable, we had to mix in our own pesto dip to make it edible! Sorry guys you really need to sort this out! A £46 order which is worth £25 tops! Avoid!!!

Best Pizza outside of Naples. Good choice of lovely wine. The Franchettis Extra hot Pizza was sublime.

Fantastic pizza and staff We've been here on four occasions so far, including my daughters birthday. My kids absolutely love it. My daughter prefers it to Picollino, pizza express and San carlo, and I honestly agree with her, the pizza is better here than all of those combined. Really good value for money. Also do take out. It was really busy tonight the restaurant just managed to squeeze us in, make sure you book 😊.

we've always fancied trying this relatively new addition to the Crosby food scene and popped in yesterday evening on the spur of the moment and what a treat it was. Yes you could say that at £26 the Chianti was a tad on the pricey side but to be fair it was rather good. Had the arancini as a starter, never had these tasty fried rice balls before and can't help wondering why as they were delicious. Mains? We had a pizza each with plans to have a try of Franchetti's tiramisu afterwards but the sizeable and very tasty pizzas that had a wonderfully light dough base, interestingly & unusually a was pizza wheel provided to assist with cutting it up, defeated us and we had to leave without a pud or a coffee - I'd love to see if they do a caffeine overdose Italian style espresso. As a spur of the moment decision it was a pretty good one and we'll definitely be going back and perhaps give one or other of the pastas a try but to be honest I'd be more than happy to have another "Mike's Hot Honey" pizza, or indeed any other one, another go. For those who think "What honey? On a pizza?" the blend of pepperoni, chilli and honey is to die for. I've had honey on a pizza in France, with smoked duck, goat's cheese and mushrooms in that case, and it weirdly enhances the experience. Oh and we have to say the staff are excellent & friendly too, something that always makes a meal so much better.
