The best restaurants serving Other food in Eltham North Greenwich London

I popped in for a light lunch with my daughter. We shared a delicious pizza and out drinks were lovely and cold. Excellent and friendly service. Thanks.

Lovely deli with a great selection of cheeses, meats, olives and usual fare. Prices are good for London, and stock a good range of other products with things you won't find elsewhere in the area.

Good food at a reasonable price.

Usually this is great and most of it was. However the vegetable moussaka I had was clearly from frozen and ice cold in places. While I reheated some for tea and that was OK, I felt the waiter should not have charged me the full amount on the bill. Mistakes happen but next time I will definitely send the dish back if it happens again! It's always been great before.

I’m local to the area and had heard good things about Hooked, so I ordered cod and chips for delivery (£18 excluding delivery/service fees). Unfortunately, the cod was really poor quality — it didn’t taste fresh and had a strange, powdery texture. Even worse, it had a large backbone running through the middle, which shouldn’t happen with a properly prepared fillet. I ended up throwing away more than half. They also didn’t include the slice of lemon as advertised — a small thing, but it adds to the overall disappointment. The only positive was the chips, which were actually good. Overall, not worth it!

Good food for the price and friendly staff.

This is the tastiest, most generous and reasonable kebab shop in the whole of London, respectfully approved by another turk. Unbelievable every single time, 2 adults can eat a large kebab!!

A fabulous Real Ale House, excellent Kent beers at a reasonable price. Friendly atmosphere (and a real plus is no mobile phones, you can text ! 😀). They do bar snacks or ploughman's.

Good experience , had a good vibe with Loki (Indian guy) who was serving us is very polite and coming to pizza taste is delicious.

Visited here for the first time on Tuesday as was to early for an appointment . Received a warm welcome and enjoyed a fresh well cooked cheese omelette , no problems swapping chips for fresh tomatoes . Cafe is light , airy and spotlessly clean as were the toilets . Will return to try other items on the extensive menu.

Great food, great service and lovely staff! The staff were very friendly and accommodating upon arrival and throughout. The meal itself was tasty and filling. Great evening had at good value - would recommend.

I placed my order at 18:20, at which point I was informed that it would take 20-30 minutes. The estimated delivery time kept changing, going up and down for ages. The delivery went by an utterly bizarre route. The food was luke warm and rubbery.

A true gem in Eltham (or in London, for that matter). Delicious authentic Indian food and outstanding service at an amazing value (they even threw in a portion of Bombay potatoes for free, just as a gesture). We are from New York City where we’re spoiled for choice when it comes to quality restaurants and Cafe Raj would totally be up there in Manhattan - highly recommended!
