The best restaurants serving Other international-cuisines food in South Lakeland North West

We booked this for our last night in the Lake District,it’s a little of the beaten track but well worth the drive. Lovely decor and ambiance and the majority of the service was friendly and welcoming. We ordered a couple of starters and enjoyed the salmon maki so much we ended up having another portion. Mains of prawns, sea bass, ox cheek with sides of rice and pak Choi were delicious ( although became a little cold being in normal dishes). A 10% service charge added to the food ( not on the drinks) was very reasonable for the overall experience. We would definitely recommend and if we are in the area again would definitely revisit.

Great restaurant with a small but perfectly formed menu. Highly recommended.

Not cheap at £35 for lunch for 2, with coffee, but the quality and taste of the food was great. Vegan and vegetarian food only, with hot wraps, soup, salads and cakes available. Would visit again for sure.

Fabulous spot. Very welcoming staff! Would be nice if, during colder months the fire could be lit. Went to a fab 50th party too here last year!

Popped in here a couple of times over the weekend for drinks. The place has a new owner who was telling us of his future ambitions for the place and it looks very promising. He had an artist on Saturday evening and the place was packed which was good to see and the atmosphere was great. Hope this is a sign of things to come and wish him all the best. We will be back later in the year.

Smart building,easy parking.We have been customers for several years.We had a reservation a few days before Easter.Dairy free items seemed a problem although not previously. Service was slow and disinterested.We did not have a starter. Our main course was Duck breast and mash which was satisfactory. Our other course was Plaice, off the bone ,with chips and leeks.The Plaice came as a small pile of wet under-cooked random pieces between one and two inches long.That was all we had but from arrival to departure took 2 hours. The cost including service was £75.It was a disappointing experience which we would not want to repeat for a good while to come.Hopefully for the Restaurant it was all a short term glitch.
