The best restaurants serving Other international-cuisines food in Hackney London

We came for the whisky tasting which we found interesting and fun, we were made to feel very welcome , drinks are very good and a nice venue 🥃

First of all: the people working here are lovely and really helpful and warm... They gave us a taster plate of all their offerings and it was so difficult for us to choose from because everything was delicious in it's own way. The whole thing was an experience with the workers dancing along to the rhythms and honestly looking so happy 🥰

ecently dined at Ma Petite Jamaica and had a fantastic experience. The service provided by Aminata was exceptional, she was attentive, friendly, and made sure our meal was perfect from start to finish. The food was also top-notch, with every dish bursting with flavor. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a great meal with excellent service. I’ll definitely be returning!

Ocurrió que pasear por la zona buscando cualquier tipo de café para sentarse mientras esperé unas pocas horas por un amigo, no esperaba nada en particular. Pero mi ¡oh, ¿estoy contento de que tropezamos con Hirsinger y Strauss! El lugar es tan cálida y acogedora, y el personal te hace sentir aún más con su amable, servicial, allegados forma. El café es el lugar perfecto para protegerse de la lluvia el tiempo fuera, donde se puede oír el suave sonido de jazz suave y compartir la compañía de los demás tranquilo folk. La comida es absolutamente increíble y el té.

I cycled past on my way out and saw this huge queue outside the door, so popped in on my way back when the queue had died on to see what the fuss was about. I had an absolutely delicious falafel wrap with yummy sauces and salad, and was offered a hot falafel to munch on while I waited. Also given a free lime'n lemon drink as was my first time, and had an amazing chat about Ramallah, where the owner is from. Love Palestine culture and food.

What a great experience! We had so much fun experiencing dish after dish of Ghanian cuisine (the menu that night - it varies). It was lovely getting to know the many people from all over who came together to share supper and wine (and liqueur!) while supporting Doctors Without Borders. Early in the evening we gathered in the parlour and got a chance to introduce ourselves to our fellow guests while the host and her sous chefs were finishing up the cooking. We then shared a large table and dish after dish came out of the kitchen. More than enough for everyone to get their fill. It was a lovely experience and I hope more people will be lucky enough to experience it, too.

This restaurant has set the bar for how Caribbean food can be made,with a twist is how I would describe it The food is made with... love. Took my wife who has never had Caribbean food and she absolutely adored it. The ambience was great, food and drink was on point with presentation a big thumbs up. I would highly recommend.

Mama Vic sirven raciones enormes de deliciosa cabra, pollo con curry, con montones de arroz. Yo estaba un poco escéptico antes de que nos fuimos en pero el dueño fue muy amable. Un gran hallazgo! No soy muy conocedor de comida Caribeña en general, pero esto era una maravilla. Y muy buena relación calidad-precio. Barato y (muy) alegre.

Very disappointing experience. Last Saturday night, September 14 2024, my partner and I were at Barrios. We were waiting at the bar to be served for at least 20 minutes. That was ok for us but unfortunately we saw a girl trying to skip the line of customers and the waiter allowed it in front of us. We complained and explained that we were there waiting there for longer. The waiter (a guy with a black t-shirt and a beige cap with the Jordan logo), ignored our complain and served the girl who arrived at the bar later before us. What the waiter did next leaves the establishment in a very bad position: Not only did he serve the girl first, he also served us drinks that we had not ordered and charged more saying it was “service charge”. However, we knew from our friends that ordered before us that they didn’t get any service charge. I won’t be coming back or recommending this establishment. I know it’s not the fault of the managers but the experience was really disappointing.

Fantastic experience. Probably one of the best meals me and my friends have had at a restaurant. The hospitality from Canela & co was second to none. Would 100% recommend bringing your nearest and dearest here. Outstanding!

3 of us came here last night for dinner. The restaurant was fairly busy but not full and the atmosphere was nice. We ordered the sharing menu for £25 a head. The first few dishes came out quickly and we were impressed with the flavours, although 2 risotto balls and 5 pieces of gyoza between 3 people is not really adequate. Then we waited and waited some more. I asked a member of staff if there would be more food coming and she said there was but did not give an explanation for why we had to wait so long in between courses. When the ‘main’ courses arrived, again the food was very good but ridiculously small portions of food for 3 of us- the curry came in the tiniest of bowls with barely a spoonful each! All in all good food but really not good value for money. I would steer clear of the sharing menu in the future because I like to feel full up after spending £25 on a meal!

En un paseo desde Bethnal Green con la familia el fin de semana nos encontramos con The Well Street Kitchen abierto y sirve deliciosos platos. Estaba muy ocupado, pero por suerte encontramos una mesa justo en frente de la cocina. Había un gran zumbido en esta casa que siempre es una buena señal con todo el mundo disfrutando de la comida! ¡Tiene un ambiente acogedor de café callejero! Escogimos del Menú Brunch , yo tenía unos Huevos sencillos en tostadas con tomates cherry, otros un plato de Salmón con huevos escalfados y otro tenía Huevos al Horno con espárragos , los platos estaban todos bien presentados y a un precio muy razonable. Este es un gran café con un gran personal que quiere que disfrute de su visita , recomiendo encarecidamente y sin duda volveremos cuando próxima en Hackney.

Absolutamente ninguna queja sobre la comida, los sabores eran increíbles, realmente iban juntos, nada demasiado pretencioso que no funcionaba, ambiente del restaurante es encantador, buena cena pero con una sensación más relajada, la única queja que tendría es que nos sentimos apresurados a través de nuestros cursos, en un momento casi nos sentíamos que nos dijeron que nos ‘apuráramos’ con uno de nuestros cursos, cuando te gastas £ 250 + en una comida para 2 , realmente quieres tomar el tiempo para disfrutar de los sabores y el vino que va con él, creo que esto tiene que ver con los chefs y no servicio

Very nice restaurant , the food is original and the wine list very assorted. Beautiful place, for couples or for friends ( and for business too).

Great and gluten-free arepas. Every time I go to London and stop by Candem I eat there. The guys who serve are very friendly
