Fantastic experience. Probably one of the best meals me and my friends have had at a restaurant. The hospitality from Canela & co was second to none. Would 100% recommend bringing your nearest and dearest here. Outstanding!

A fabulous little restaurant, with wonderful service and the best quality steak I’ve had in a very long time.. even packaged up the left overs as they were so big. Cooked to perfection.

We visited this wonderful restaurant on a Saturday lunchtime, and I would heartily recommend it. The starters (chorizo, black pudding and Spanish paprika sausage) were exceptional, and the steaks we ordered (a small rib eye, small sirloin and skirt) were all cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious! By the way, the 'small' steaks were anything but! We also had a bottle of Malbec which was perfect with the steaks! The service was friendly and efficient, the vibe was relaxed, and the value for money extraordinary! Thank you for making my birthday extra special!

Amazingly tender and juicy ribeye steak cooked to perfection. Service was amazing. Paired it with the house red which was itself incredible. Beautiful experience, definitely see myself returning to this place.

Tommaso, the waiter, & Anton, the chef, were fantastic. Tommaso was incredibly friendly and generous, whilst Anton cooked the meat to perfection. I felt at home and thoroughly looked after here, and I will make this a regular place. If you like traditional grilled meats (like from Argentina or Romania) over coals then this is the best place to be transported there. Thank you again!

We have now visited Buen Ayre in Broadway Market East London on three occasions and each time it just gets better and better !! The steaks are the best in London, superbly cooked, great friendly service, nice beer and just such a nice p-lace to go. Many thanks.

After seeing some good reviews here, we decided to give this a try. We hadn’t made a reservation (risky in London, I know) and although it being super busy, the main host, with his amazing wit & charm found us a table within 30 seconds. The food… oh my god, what can I say. Starters.. amazing, steak, out of this world, topped off with a delicious pancake desert. We regularly go to many steak places all over London, but this one? I’d say one of the best meals I’ve had in years!!

Amazing restaurant! The parrillada is huge and meat is top quality and perfectly cooked to order. The restaurant has a small family restaurant vibe and all staff were very friendly. Would highly recommend!

We had a family birthday meal for 6 yesterday and had a fabulous time , service from the staff was great particular mention to Tomas who really looked after us. Steaks were huge, succulent & cooked to perfection - rocket salad & garlic amazing ! deserts / wine (Melbec) & cocktails all fab , could not fault it hence 5 stars - thanks to all !

Wonderful chorizo starter and the small sirloin steak was bigger than expected.. I could not have had the large! I’d still be eating it. Perfectly cooked. The wait staff were very friendly.

The food was, as expected delicious. I would recommend the Parrillada Deluxe, and make sure you have the black pudding (OMG! Heavenly) and the Rocket and Garlic salad, washed down with a bottle of Red. The service was impeccable, our waitress was attentive, friendly and helpful. This restaurant is fabulous, go when hungry, and you’ll leave full and happy!

Fuimos a comer un asado argentino. La zona donde se sitúa el restaurante está muy bien, con un mercadillo que se puede visitar. El personal fue muy amable y amigable, y nos permitieron reservar con dos días de antelación. Nos pedimos el asado argentino como plato principal, y algún entrante. Preguntamos a la chica si la cantidad estaba bien para dos personas y ella nos asesoró. El trato fue excepcional en todo momento. El restaurante en sí igual era un poco ruidoso. En general nos gustó mucho la experiencia y lo recomendamos.

We did enjoy the service and the food a lot. They found as a place immediately despite was a busy day , service is good and the food came fast and was nicely done. Very nice Argentinian restaurant.

We went for my wife’s birthday, when our order came 2x steaks were forgotten, when they did came they were barely cooked, we returned them to be cooked properly but they returned in basically the same condition, when pointing this out to the manager she said if we weren’t happy we could go elsewhere to eat, which is not something you expect from a restaurant. After going to this restaurant for many years this unfortunately is the 3rd or 4th time in the past year we have had bad service and poor quality food. And sadly we will not be returning. What a shame.

The food and the service is incredible and the quality of the food is amazing. Meet served still on the grill and the price/quality is all worth it.

This is a biased review as we love this restaurant. It was our second visit and fortunately nothing had changed. Can’t fault the meat/cooking and the staff are very friendly. Just a shame there’s no tube station!

Go here with my wife to mark important days as it is not local to us. Went on the evening before TIER 4 kicked in. Covid arrangements were very good. The service and meal was even better. All washed down with a superb bottle of wine

Visited Broadway Market today n got a steak sandwich n fries wit aioli. Absolutely delicious!!! Ordered thru their WhatsApp service, took around 10-15 mins until it was ready, paid by card wit all social distance rules obeyed n friendly guy on the door who was super polite. Highly recommend!!

I’m an Argentinian who moved to London in January and since then I’ve never had a steak as good as the one in Buen Ayre.I highly recommend it. Apart from the amazing food (starters, steaks, desserts and wines), the whole staff is super friendly and professional and that’s what it made me feel in Argentina back again.I’m looking forward to go back to Buen Ayre (my Argentine Embassy in London).

Fui con un amigo, disfrutamos totalmente de nuestra cena. La comida es increíble y deliciosa, ojalá no hubiéramos conducido para poder tomar un poco de vino. Literalmente, acabo de llegar a casa de Buen Ayre y me vi obligado a dejar una reseña porque era tan exquisito. Nuestra camarera fue muy amable y servicial. Cada entrante fue perfecto (el mío, ¡las empanadas!). Pocos comimos bistecs, yo compartí la parrillada deluxe. El chuletón y el solomillo estaban impecablemente cocinados. La morcilla y la salchicha divina. Pimiento asado y provolone horneado increíble. Incluso el Malbec fue perfecto. No siempre confío mucho en los lugares que se encuentran en Broadway Market, pero Buen Ayre es absolutamente impecable. (Dios mío, incluso el chimichurri era perfecto).Primera cena adecuada después del cierre y no me decepcionó.

The moment social distancing and isolation are over, Buen Ayre is the first place I'll visit. The food and wine is always delicious and the service top notch.

This cozy restaurant is situated in the heart of London Fields not to far from Bethnal Green. I had a fanstastic rib eye steak . Incredible meat and generous portions. They also have good selection of Malbec and the price are average. I don’t give 5 stars because the service wasn’t great, the waiter didn’t give us a nice welcoming and he looked a bit unhappy when see us walking trough the door plus he was pushing us to get the order after 2 minutes that we were sitting on the table. For all the rest everything was delicious

I went to Buen Ayre for the second time last Friday night on a trip to London from Spain. We were a party of six and turned up twenty minutes late after having a few pints. They could not have been nicer, friendlier or more understanding. The service was fantastic and fun throughout and the food was mind blowing. Cannot recommend this place more. Thanks very much for being so nice to six tipsy Irishmen!

No solo el mejor filete y chuletón, el budín negro es INCREÍBLE, (tan bueno que pedimos dos extra para la bolsa de perrito) tuvimos la "Parrillada Deluxe" para nuestro plato principal y las "Empanadas" para el sabor inicial, irreal.No puedo alabar el servicio lo suficiente, el personal amable, servicial y muy rápido. Me encanta ver la pasión del chef al preparar y cocinar la comida y esto realmente brilla en la calidad. Muy recomendable y no puedo esperar para volver.

Esta fue la visita de regreso después de estar impresionado la primera vez. La carne se prepara a la parrilla y se sirve con salsas argentinas características. Had Argentinian and Irish meat, both very good. Steaks are cooked exactly as you like them and the menu helps you to order properly. Rather small place, but big steaks ; so booking is essential.

Another fantastic meal at Buen Ayre. Great atmosphere, excellent service, delicious food and wine. The Argentinian fillet is definitely worth the extra and the family members that chose the grill are very glad of the doggy bags! Well worth driving form Bristol and Portsmouth to enjoy this as part of our weekend in London.

Nel cuore dell' east london, un ristorante a gestione Argentina che offre una delle migliori scelte di carni che io abbia mai provato. sostengo che se si mangia in modo eccellente per 5 volte nello stesso posto, non si possa che attribuire il merito al posto stesso e non al caso. Personale cordiale e disponibile, ambiente accogliente e spartano come da copione Argentino, qualità del cibo superlativa. Rapporto qualità prezzo assolutamente in linea con la concorrenza (con 40£ cad. si esce sazi e soddisfatti ma si può mangiare con 25£ cad.). Bife de lomo primo piatto in classifica, a seguire Bife de ancho con guarnicion... suggerisco una provoleta fusa come starter. Personalmente preferisco la birra rispetto alla scelta di vini Argentini (spesso giovani) ma è un parere soggettivo. Per gli amanti dell'asado, suggerisco di farsi consigliare dallo chef lo stato del taglio del giorno.

Visited this restaurant in May with my wife and I can’t praise it enough , a real family Argentine restaurant with steak that is unreal and very generous pricing and size of portions . Have been twice now and will be going again soon .

Occasionally when you go out and find one of those restaurants that surprise you. This is one of them. steaks were excellent but it is the staff that really created the atmosphere that made the difference between a great meal out and a great night out. Thanks to Chico and Patricia.

I came here with an old friend for a couple of glasses of wine and a steak. We were given great advice, Nico the waiter helped big time, we ordered two ribeyes and glasses of La Linda Malbec. I'd order exactly the same next time.

Fui al Buen Ayre con mi pareja a cenar. Ambos pedimos filetes de costilla poco comunes. Colocaron carne roja cruda frente a nosotros. Traté de cortar mi filete pero fue difícil. La carne era muy masticable e imposible de tragar. Le pedimos amablemente a la camarera que cocinara nuestros filetes un poco más para poder masticarlos. Así que los filetes volvieron quemados por fuera y todavía sin cocinar por dentro. Cuando le dijimos a la camarera que la carne aún no estaba cocida, se ofendió mucho y dijo que el chef cree que no hay nada de malo en la carne y la calidad de nuestra comida.

After years of walking past i finally had a burger from this restaurant and certainly will not be the last! Really enjoyed the meal and tempted to check out its steaks in the near future.

It would be hard to beat the quality of the meat in this restaurant & the portion sizes are huge: the mixed grill servings recommended for two would be easily enough for four people of moderate appetite, I think, or at least three very hungry people. The black pudding and the different varieties of steak were really well prepared and cooked. I found the other sausage a bit salty for my taste, but the others liked it.

We shared the mixed grill - excellent steaks, beautifully cooked; tasty sausages and amazign black pudding. The Merlot to accompany came in a half bottle which was ideal.

Bueno Ayre is the best steak restaurant I have been to in London. It has a real Latin American vibe, and it feels like being in a proper family restaurant.

This is a great place. Yes, there maybe some issues with the toilet. There maybe issues with the front door swinging open and letting the cold night air in the restaurant. BUT...the steak is amazing and the service is very attentive.

We had lunch here for my husband’s birthday with our 11 month old twins. The food and service were perfect and they catered well to both us as a couple and as a family with little ones. Lovely wine too!

This is the place I recommend to everyone I know that either is visiting London or asks me where should go for a nice meal! I’ve been there many times and the food is always the same amazing quality! The steaks are my favourite and always order the parillada mixta or deluxe! Wines are good too! Service is great and very friendly! Just be aware though that from the time you order until you start eating, takes a bit longer that usual, but is definitely worth it. So if you are going for a quick lunch you will probably run out of time before you even get served!

Carne alla griglia cotta sul fuoco di fianco ai tavoli, come in una taverna di casa. Ambiente e personale accogliente, carne molto buona, tenera, cottura al sangue perfetta. Dopo la prima cena ci siamo tornati. In un quartiere non turistico ristorante assolutamente da provare se si cerca carne carne carne!!!!

A smallish restaurant with a limited menu, but if you like steak (we do) then this is an excellent place to come. The staff were friendly and provided prompt service. The steaks were of very good quality and expertly cooked. The wine list is also pretty good, provided you like red wine you are happy to have a malbec from Argentine (there were a couple of other reds). There were also a good many whites too at reasonable prices. I had a glass of white malbec to start - they say they have the only one in London, which I can believe. It was drinkable but and perhaps better than a white zinfandel, but that's all. All in all very enjoyable.

Faccio una premessa: sono arrivato a questo locale il 3 febbraio per cena, grazie a Tripadvisor: avevo voglia di carne, ma senza spendere cifre a €€€€. Ho preso Uber in quanto complicato da arrivarci con i mezzi pubblici. Ristorante spartano, situato in una zona un po' discosta a metà circa tra Stratford la city. Il menu è ben presentato (anche in internet) e il cameriere, molto gentile e simpaticissimo, ti porta i pezzi di carne per vedere forma, consistenza e grandezza. Io ho preso un filetto argentino di 284 grammi, cottura al sangue perfetta, mentre mia figlia un entrecote di ca. 200 grammi, il pezzo di carne più "leggero" del menu. Contorno di patate fritte, fresche, tagliate grossolanamente ed un mix di fagioli, pomodori e peperoni molto gustoso. In generale la qualità è stata ottima. Un appunto, se mi posso permettere: farei in maniera di poter soddisfare i gusti anche di chi non mangia così tanta carne, fornendo dei pezzi di peso inferiore. Ma è l'unico appunto che posso segnalare e che mi permette obiettivamente di togliere un punto al mio punteggio. Un buon dessert diviso in due, due bicchieri di vino argentino ed una bottiglia di acqua gasata da mezzo: speso GBP 80, prezzo assolutamente concorrenziale, vista la qualità e la quantità di carne proposta.

Este es un lugar auténtico que sirve carnes de primera calidad perfectamente cocinadas (especifique el color del interior cuando ordene) y el ambiente es perfecto. . . . una pequeña habitación que se siente realmente bien, no es un restaurante de cadena ni un gran lugar lujoso. . . Solo un espacio limpio y cómodo en una calle agradable del área del este de Londres. Agustín fue nuestro servidor, una joven mujer de Buenos Aires y ella fue atenta y agradable. Éramos cuatro y tres solomillos y una limusina. . . . Algunas papas fritas y dos excelentes postres, un abanico y una crepe con dulce de leche. . . Yo tenía el flan y lo hizo perfectamente. El restaurante se encuentra en la zona este de Londres, a unos 20 minutos en coche del centro. . . Vaya aquí si le gusta el bistec y los precios son muy razonables para la carne argentina de calidad. . . Si te gusta la carne y estás en Londres. . . ir a BUEN AYRE. . . Servicio, ambiente perfecto, y buena comida. . . a precios razonables. . . y buena lista de vinos también. Comida realmente agradable.

Como mi amigo vive en la zona, sugirió probar este restaurante que había pasado pero nunca había visitado. Estaba muy ocupado con las fiestas navideñas, pero tuvimos la suerte de ocupar una mesa que habían dejado los clientes que acababan de abandonar. Pedimos 2 ginebra y tónicos, 2 filetes de lomo, 1 porción de papas fritas, un vaso grande de vino tinto y un café. El bistec tiene que ser el más sabroso que he probado durante mucho tiempo y perfectamente cocinado. El vino tinto de la casa era extremadamente apetecible.

He comido en los mejores restaurantes de bistec de todo el mundo, esto los supera a todos por un tercio del precio.

Loved the place, loved the service, loved the meat, loved the way it was cooked, loved the wine, loved the service again, very warm and welcoming, I short, a very happy customer. Have been to other more expensive steak houses like Gaucho, and I must say, I much prefer Buen Ayre, can't even compare, also much better priced. Hope to be back soon.

Came here for a family meal out and enjoyed a great meal in one of the nicest areas of Hackney. The meal was beautifully cooked and all of us (4) enjoyed three separate items from the menu.

Probably my favourite area to go out, started the night in the jazz place which is exactly in front of and had dinner in this friendly and simple steak house! All what I had was delicious, served from a friendly and professional staff with a great value for money ! Definitely 5 starts

Try the mixed grill. Provolone cheese and steak. It’s amazing. Sausages and steak. Beautiful. Good service.

My wife and I were looking for an Argentine steak house which wasn’t a household name like some others and we found it. Fantastic juicy steak washed down with a nice glass of Malbec which was finished a superb day out for us both. Would definitely recommend for those of you who prefer smaller family run restaurants who take real pride in their food we will be back.

Had a "Daddy and Daughter" meal in the city while my wife was walking the 1/2 Marathon "Shine" walk.

My family and I visited yesterday for my mother's birthday lunch. We called ahead to ask if we could bring a cake and decorations for the table which was no problem at all and our table was ready early for us to set up before our mother arrived. Service throughout was fantastic and the food was delicious. The staff were accommodating and attentive from the get go. Steaks were cooked to perfection. Thank you to our servers (sorry we didn't get their names) for making our birthday lunch very special!

The food was excellent, the place is simple and give you the feeling of letting it goes the time of your meal. Prices are fair for such a good product and if some are afraid looking at the prices 20-30£ for the meet on the grill, don't you worry...the quantity will satisfy your spending.

This place is absolutely incredible. I've been coming here for a few years, not once has it disappointed. If you know your steak, you won't be disappointed. I'm yet to find an Argentinian steak place in London that comes anywhere near Buen Ayre.

WOW !!!!!!! Absolutely delicious, melt in the mouth steak (10oz medium cooked Fillet) accompanied by fantastic fries & smooth house wine Great service & vibrant atmosphere. A superb restaurant highly recommended

Brilliant Argentinian steak restaurant. I love steaks and was recommended Buen Ayre by a friend and it didn't disappoint.

Terminamos aquí por casualidad como uno de nuestra compañía no podía soportar el ruido en el lugar que habíamos reservado. Buen Ayre al rescate. El personal era amable y el tipo de atento. La comida era deliciosa, especialmente las pequeñas tartas y las bruchetta con halloumi y champiñones. Este venía con excelente pan plano y buen houmous. A pesar de ser un asador, adecuado para vegetarianos, aunque con menos opciones. Domingos a la hora del almuerzo y bastante tranquila, pero de ninguna manera desiertas. Que llenaba más tarde. Mientras tanto, pudimos t relajar y pasar un buen catch-up. Gracias, chicos.

We visited last Saturday evening. A birthday group of 12. Here is my honest review.

Buen Ayre entertained 30 of us for lunch on the day of the France vs Argentina match. We a well behaved group on a stag day. We pre ordered and all the food turned up cooked perfectly and was duly scoffed. The meal including wine and tip was £60 a head and was good value for the quality served. Sadly the football went the wrong way for the staff but all was great for us!

El personal nos pareció muy hermoso! He estado dos veces, una con mi pareja y otra vez con amigos. En ambas ocasiones fue una experiencia genial.

Fue una decepción. El restaurante estaba vacío pero reservamos una mesa fuera de todos modos. Estuvimos 15 minutos tarde. Entonces nos fuera sin que nos llama. Por dentro estaba vacío, pero tenemos un perro pequeño y la salud y seguridad de la tarjeta. Conseguimos desde el camarero era agresión pasiva camp.

The meat was good. I liked the garnish with the beans. I think it is overpriced as 2 tiny bonuelos cost £7! The service was really good and we had a lovely Argentinian girl serving us.

Great steak and service, friendly staff but felt a little rushed despite not being that busy. Table only allocated for 2 hours which was fine as service was quick

The steak was okay but nothing special - not as good as Hawksmoor, Goodman or Gaucho despite a similar price. Service and atmosphere were fine but again, nothing special. Overall, a bit disappointed, especially considering the price.
