Friendly and helpful. Food so tasty. Prefer the savoury to the cakes.

We visited here for a celebration and had an amazing meal. The cheese souffle was gorgeous as was the lamb main. The wine was superb, staff were friendly and efficient and made it a fantastic celebration. I'll definitely be back when next in Swanage

Thought I’d give this place another go after my first experience and it’s no better and is more expensive. Burger was so soggy that I couldn’t even pick it up! The roll was so soggy it had disintegrated! I had to eat with knife and fork and it made me feel queasy due to texture of it all! The chips were over cooked and the oil they were cooked in tasted cheap! For one person to spend £17.95 on a meal that was more like burger soup with very brown fries, I will never be trying again. Thank god I decided to try when my partner was out as the whole meal would have cost double! Why oh why can’t Swanage do things right! Is it where people come who can’t make it anywhere else? I’m not happy!
