Waffle, Shake N Roll in Purbeck

Thought I’d give this place another go after my first experience and it’s no better and is more expensive. Burger was so soggy that I couldn’t even pick it up! The roll was so soggy it had disintegrated! I had to eat with knife and fork and it made me feel queasy due to texture of it all! The chips were over cooked and the oil they were cooked in tasted cheap! For one person to spend £17.95 on a meal that was more like burger soup with very brown fries, I will never be trying again. Thank god I decided to try when my partner was out as the whole meal would have cost double! Why oh why can’t Swanage do things right! Is it where people come who can’t make it anywhere else? I’m not happy!

Was really looking forward to finally being able to have food here after hearing loads of positive feedback but as I was trying to order through the app at 20:20 ish (one whole hour before they close) their app stopped letting me continue with my order which made me think maybe a technical error with the app. I phoned them up to ask if they were still taking orders or deliveries and they said they had already turned the grills off, ONE HOUR before their closing time on all of their social media and app. So disappointed as this constantly seems to happen too, this is not the first time the app has not allowed me to order even though they advertise they’re open 7 days a week until 21:30…

Staff seemed uninterested, once I had ordered and paid it took 10mins to work out, oh, no ice-cream cones, and the flavour I asked for was out, and my next choice, and my next.... eventually got an icecream, but if there had been somewhere else open after 5pm I would have gone.

We visited this place a few years ago actually and are so looking foreward to going straight back there this year for their Awseome waffles and shakes!! Definately recommend it, we havnt forgotten it or found another place that compares x

Went to waffle shake n roll for the past 2 nights as the first time the dessert was delicious so had to go back a second time whilst visiting the area. Must visit for anyone with a sweet tooth
