What a find, well worth hunting this gem down. The best fruit and vegetables, I didn’t shop at the deli but it looks amazing, small clean and fresh cafe upstairs, serving great coffee and hot and cold food using all the best ingredients. Well done and if only we had more room for the patisserie ❤️ we will be back !!!!

Excellent food and good service, with much more than your average breakfast selection. I'll definitely be back to try some of the other things on the menu.

Cant comment on the food as we waited around , got ignored by staff walking past so did the obvious and went somewhere else!

Oh my word, absolutely stunned. This little gems has everything you need, the lady was super helpful and friendly. I brought some veggies for dinner,beats the supermarket prices hands down.iv found my new local shop for sure. Oh I also brought gooseberry jelly...yep you read that right. 5* star all the way

The two lovely sisters who run this wonderful eaterie and deli have really hit the spot. Cute quiet location in the artisan corner of swanage. Amazing menu for breakfast and lunch with great Polish options. The hospitality is gracious and outstanding and there are constant smiles. Excellent value for money and I will keep coming back!

Great coffe, amazing staff , clean Caffe and stunning fruits and veggie stand Although they didn't have vegan options in the menu, staff was kind enough to prepare vegan bagel for me that was incredibly delicious. Hope they'll add it to their menu I'm gonna be regular here Highly recommend

Lovely little deli and coffee shop. The main deli is Polish (which we love). We had soup which was homemade and the delicious plater made up of polish meats and cheese. Lovely. Definitely recommend

Delightful little cafe tucked away at the back of Station Road.The food was absolutely delicious like your mum's best midweek dinner! I also had the avocado smoothie which was fresh and creamy.

This is an old review for the Old Stables when it was the Surf and Turf restaurant. I don't know if the new owners are connected to the previous in anyway but it was a lovely meal we had back in 2022 and the kids loved the resident dog who would walk around the diners. Best wishes to the new owners!

Found this cafe/deli well off the beaten track when wandering around town. Great find, really nice coffee and homemade cake. Staff were really friendly. Whole place including downstairs toilets were clean and tidy. My only observation was that all the seating inside, which is comfy and bright, was up stairs so unless I missed it, might be a challenge for the less able.

We walked in and were greeted by a lady that couldn't speak English very well. She let us walk past her and up the stairs to the 'restaurant' where we found a table and got seated. After some time I realized that there were no menus and went back down the stairs to ask the same lady for menus. I was then told that we had to order from the board behind the counter at the entrance, where we had walked in!? We could've been left sitting upstairs for some time expecting her to come up and serve us; all the while that was not going to happen so we could've just sat there.... Seems poorly run and definitely not clear in telling people upon entering that they need to order from the board at the entrance counter.... What if there is no one at the front door and the customer walks upstairs?? Haha.... Could be there all day!!! Haha

Forest of the fruits cake is all natural colouring. Green crumble on the top of the cake has spinach to colour it and you wouldn't know. Absolutely delicious with soft sponge layered with home made fruits of the forest jam. The portions of cake are very generous. Staff are very friendly and made us feel welcome.

Lovely deli and café in Swanage. Reasonably priced and delicious food, the staff were friendly and attentive, and the delicatessen has a great selection of local produce and polish delicacies.

Such an amazing home made food and a great customer service! I had polish dumplings and a cake to take away and everything was fresh and yummy! Will be back! :)

We spotted this place in an alley just off the High Street and went in on an impulse - such a good decision. It has a lovely deli/cafe/shop feel and the upstairs seating area is gorgeous. We ordered an oyster mushroom soup and sauerkraut / mushroom 'croquettes'(full of lovely veggies, no mashed potato) - both so delicious.

Top marks. Fabulous coffee, and a huge pastry with cherry filling . Thought it might be a bit big, but boy, it was delicious! Reasonably priced and good service. Recommended.

We were looking for a place to have lunch. All the eateries were full as it was raining in the holiday saeson. We chanced on this place at was wonderful. They had books, colouring pencils and a chalkboard for the young and young at heart Very helpful staff, good coffee and tasty food with a difference. Definitely on our radar for when we next visit Dorset?

Went in for lunch and came out with a bag full of lovely deli delights 😋 all fresh, organic and fairly cheap. Friendly and helpful staff, wonderful atmosphere. We will be going for our weekly shop again 👍🏽

A breath of fresh air in Swanage, light and cheerful and not too expensive. Good coffee and a friendly service with well filled sandwiches.

The coffee at The Old Stables Delicatessen & Eaterie is the best in Swanage IMO and they have transformed the upstairs beautifully into a cafe area. They do breakfasts, lunch, very tempting cakes, and snacks. Their super fresh veggies, some grown on their own allotment are to die for and the great variety of international meats and cheeses in the refrigerated section are wonderful too. Oh, and the selection of fabulous Polish sourdough breads!!! A highly recommended hidden gem in Swanage!

A great spot for some Polish classics, coffee and sweet delights and all with great service and very affordable. A great escape from the High Street.

Delightful place with changing menu served by friendly and helpful staff. Delicatessen downstairs has a table to eat at for those not agile enough to climb the stairs.

Really nice friendly staff, excellent coffee and very nice pastries, good value as well, 2 large coffees and 2 big pastries just over a tenner. Will definitely visit again.

A nice enough little eaterie with a Polish shop attached. My wife and I were just passing and popped in to see what they sold. The lady behind the counter was very helpful in describing the Polish produce on offer as we were clueless. We bought some very nice cured meats among other things. Later in the week we went in for coffee and some of their homemade cake, which were very nice.

We poped in for coffee’s, rolls and cake. Really nice well worth the visit. Nice and clean, very good quality, friendly. It’s off the main high street but it’s worth the trouble finding it. It’s hard getting good quality delicatessens like this.

Looking forward to visiting soon - I always tend to walk past and head for Chococo!

lovely Eastern European deli and café with the best coffee we've had anywhere in Swanage (including Oatly Barista oat milk, great for vegans!) Lots of specialist products and fresh food, the seating upstairs is very pretty!
