The best restaurants serving Other european-cuisines food in Maidstone South East

On Sunday my family planned me a lovely birthday lunch here, and it was lovely. Food was amazing and overall the service from all but one memeber of staff was fantastic. The pub itself was clean, modern but also not forgetting the old pub feel. I loved it! Unfortunately the service from one of the bar maids was horrible and left me feeling a bit rubbish in my birthday. She looked like she wanted to be anywhere but there and spoke to me and my family so rudely. I asked if they served Malibu and she bluntly said no and rolled her eyes at me. She didn't offer me an alternative and just stood there staring at me until I picked something else. At first I thought she was joking but she continued to be miserable. After I ordered our drinks at the bar, she didn’t say anything else to me, she slid the drinks over, handed us the card machine and waited for us to walk away without even a thank you. She continued to be rude to other members of my family too. I would definitely go back here and would recommend to everyone.

Visited on a Thursday evening and it was dead, only 6 people including us. Had some chicken kebabs and the chicken was nice but overall it was nothing special. It came with a tiny salad and a very small rice portion with the chicken having 5 cubes. Had a couple of soft drinks and came to £39.00 including a service charge! Went here 3 years ago and it was fantastic place, now I will not return as generally poor. No atmosphere, small portions and overpriced, far better restaurants nearby.

We had a 50th Birthday celebration and the restaurant made it unforgettable, from birthday decorations to the birthday cake. The meal was amazing and the service was very professional. It's worth every single penny. We will come back. Highly recommend. Thank you so much

My favourite restaurant in England was Nando's, now I hate it, the way the staff treat people is so rude, the last time we went for a meal as a family, they were so rude to the takeaway drivers, I couldn't believe it, you are a human being too, you don't realise this, but from now on I will not even give you £0.01, I will tell everyone around me as a family, you are going to be a disgusting restaurant chain First learn to love people to be human, first learn how to treat people. I was uncomfortable there as a customer, you don't care about working there, you are nothing, you are nothing.

A very warm welcome! Food was so lovely! Would definitely recommend . This restaurant needs some local vibes. Hosts are nice, friendly and proud of their food!

We have had a fantastic stay and dining experience at the Hawkenbury. Staff are friendly and chatty. The breakfasts are great. Loved the variety in the continual breakfast. The cooked breakfast was also superb. We dined in the restaurant on the first day of the new Summer menu. The new menu was the best pub menu we’ve seen in our 5 weeks travelling around the UK. Pub favourites plus some interesting other options. Reasonable prices too. My husband was thrilled to see mussels on the menu, and it was a generous serve. My pasta dish was delicious and perfectly cooked. Overall the food is fresh and tasty and is obviously made with quality ingredients. The service is fast and friendly. One of the best things is the Inn’s cat, who is happy to be petted at all times.
