A very warm welcome! Food was so lovely! Would definitely recommend . This restaurant needs some local vibes. Hosts are nice, friendly and proud of their food!

I’ll start off by saying the owners of this restaurant are very nice and welcoming. However the service sub par…like really not great. Granted it’s because they are running the place with virtually no staff, but it was only at 50% capacity. The food is OK/average, no particular stand outs, although nothing to complain about as such also. It’s not a particularly expensive place, but felt expensive for what you get. One thing I will say is the chicken and pork neck is cooked very well, even if you don’t get much of it. Biggest let down were the “spicy chicken croquettes”, which was four Lidl chicken nuggets on a plate with a portion of sweet chill sauce. The mozzarella sticks are nice so I’d recommend these instead. Some items were not brought out first time and we had to ask for them more than once. I also ordered a lemonade which did not arrive. I’m not going to return but wish the owners well with their venture!

Bad customer service, ordered four plates of food received five, we are four people keep in mind, and in return we were showed our receipt which had five meals registered when my father had clearly said four? And we are visibly four people! Just bad experience in general

29 Lower Stone StreetThe food and décor here is excellent and has captured the traditional meals and appearance of Bulgarian pubs. The service here is really good too, and is overall a really fun place to visit for all families.

62-63 High StreetVisited on a Thursday evening and it was dead, only 6 people including us. Had some chicken kebabs and the chicken was nice but overall it was nothing special. It came with a tiny salad and a very small rice portion with the chicken having 5 cubes. Had a couple of soft drinks and came to £39.00 including a service charge! Went here 3 years ago and it was fantastic place, now I will not return as generally poor. No atmosphere, small portions and overpriced, far better restaurants nearby.

Sutton RoadReally nicely interior designed big open air pub with huge bifold windows letting in lots of light onto a sunny terrace. Huge big grassy garden with picnic tables. Friendly and fast service, great tasty quality food and local wines. Beer selection was quite boring, almost entirely big corporate lagers etc because the one IPA was off. Dog friendly. Kid friendly. Good WiFi.
