A very warm welcome! Food was so lovely! Would definitely recommend . This restaurant needs some local vibes. Hosts are nice, friendly and proud of their food!

I’ll start off by saying the owners of this restaurant are very nice and welcoming. However the service sub par…like really not great. Granted it’s because they are running the place with virtually no staff, but it was only at 50% capacity. The food is OK/average, no particular stand outs, although nothing to complain about as such also. It’s not a particularly expensive place, but felt expensive for what you get. One thing I will say is the chicken and pork neck is cooked very well, even if you don’t get much of it. Biggest let down were the “spicy chicken croquettes”, which was four Lidl chicken nuggets on a plate with a portion of sweet chill sauce. The mozzarella sticks are nice so I’d recommend these instead. Some items were not brought out first time and we had to ask for them more than once. I also ordered a lemonade which did not arrive. I’m not going to return but wish the owners well with their venture!

We had a disappointing experience at Nando’s. Despite paying for refillable drinks, we were refused a refill because all the machines were closed. If refills aren’t available, they shouldn’t be advertised or charged for.

29 Lower Stone StreetHello friends, I have wanted to visit the Tavern for a long time and today I did with my friends. Everything was very tasty and the organization was at a high level. Anyone who wants to have fun and go to something Bulgarian abroad, this is the place. Highly recommend❤️❤️❤️

62-63 High StreetVisited on a Thursday evening and it was dead, only 6 people including us. Had some chicken kebabs and the chicken was nice but overall it was nothing special. It came with a tiny salad and a very small rice portion with the chicken having 5 cubes. Had a couple of soft drinks and came to £39.00 including a service charge! Went here 3 years ago and it was fantastic place, now I will not return as generally poor. No atmosphere, small portions and overpriced, far better restaurants nearby.

Sutton RoadOn Sunday my family planned me a lovely birthday lunch here, and it was lovely. Food was amazing and overall the service from all but one memeber of staff was fantastic. The pub itself was clean, modern but also not forgetting the old pub feel. I loved it! Unfortunately the service from one of the bar maids was horrible and left me feeling a bit rubbish in my birthday. She looked like she wanted to be anywhere but there and spoke to me and my family so rudely. I asked if they served Malibu and she bluntly said no and rolled her eyes at me. She didn't offer me an alternative and just stood there staring at me until I picked something else. At first I thought she was joking but she continued to be miserable. After I ordered our drinks at the bar, she didn’t say anything else to me, she slid the drinks over, handed us the card machine and waited for us to walk away without even a thank you. She continued to be rude to other members of my family too. I would definitely go back here and would recommend to everyone.
