The best restaurants serving Other european-cuisines food in Carlisle North West

The food here is bloody amazing. I always get the schnitzel and it's beyond being amazing it's so good. They always cater to every need at no extra cost it's sad to see them go.

Can I have a Negroni please? No mate it’s not on the list. We have a set cocktail list !! Not the bar to go to if you want a Negroni 🙄 It might as well be a pints pub with untrained staff, my companion had a Pina Colada served in a tumbler 🙄😂

Great venue in a great location, close to the train station. 3 people squashed onto a small table for 2 wasn't ideal, but we made it work. Food was nice albeit portion sizes were a little small for the price. Biggest takeaway from today was the slow service and lack of communication from staff. Waited a long time for someone to take our order, then waited longer than usual for our food. 90 minutes for one round of drinks and 3 mains. Staff were polite and friendly enough, just a shame the wait time was so long.

Hadn't been here for some years now, and it wasn't our game plan this evening. However, here we are. Being early evening on a Monday, it was quiet, and we hadn't booked. We were able to choose any table we liked. Having been out all day in the wilds, it was pleasantly warm. Our meal was easy to order at the counter. Staff were able to make a couple of adjustments so we could share some items. For this reason, we opted out of using the app. Loaded chips to share, a mountain of chicken, mac n cheese, and sweet potato wedges. We were surprised at the speed with which our food arrived. The loaded chips could have been hotter temperature wise. It was enjoyable and the staff were very good. The background music was quite loud, which made it difficult for me to hear properly. It would be great if little bowls of water could be put on the table for rinsing, especially for those needing to wrestle chicken wings with their fingers. There's public transport close by (rail and bus), and a few pay car parks, or if you're not expecting to be more than a couple of hours there's on street disc zone parking.

The food was good as always but the reason for my low rating is the place was filthy!! I actually felt dirty coming out of there. The floor was covered in dirt and food. The manager was working so not sure why he was stood there and not cleaning the place up, very disappointing. Also the girl that served us was covered in marks on her black outfit the place just seemed filthy! Hope it can get resolved as the food is lovely just let down by the cleanliness.
