I dived into a robust sourdough loaf with whipped herb noisette, before sharing a salad of courgettes and whipped (there’s a lot of it about) ricotta, sage and rocket salsa verde – so densely green you could almost feel the chlorophyll – and a fabulously satisfying grilled radicchio with broad bean purée and pickled Tropea onions (a super-sweet variety from Calabria)

Enjoyed a variety of plates, good for sharing. Really nice staff. Didn’t try any wine but I’ll gladly come back again
